Do not use NoahsNYBagels, if they don’t have the items you ordered they won’t bother to contact you and after you drive to the store and find out they have none of your food they make it impossible to get a refund. I ordered 2 egg sandwiches and 2 hash browns through their app. I drive all the way to the store and the foods not ready, so I ask about it and they don’t have the bagels I ordered, they don’t have the bacon for the sandwiches and they don’t have the hashbrowns I ordered either. They didn’t bother to contact me and tell me this so I drove there for nothing. Then… they won’t give me a refund! What?! The manager tells me to contact customer service. Then get this there is no customer service phone number, I have to fill out a form online, and still nobody has contacted me. I’ll never eat Noah’s bagels again and I definitely won’t order through NoahsNYBagels . This is the worst customer service I’ve had. Seriously this company is ran by amateurs.

Overall NoahsNYBagels is basic but functions adequately.

My main gripes are user experience related:
1) No option in NoahsNYBagels to provide feedback like this.
2) Every time NoahsNYBagels gets updated I need to log in again. Like most people, I have dozens of apps and this is the ONLY app which requires this extra step.
3) I stopped keeping money on the Noah’s app/account because (a) I don’t enjoy leaving my money sitting in their bank account, and (b) every other visit I need to reload money which is annoying and the reload process is very slow I like Starbucks’s app which reloads in a few seconds.
4) Would be great if I could pay via the Noah’s app and have the cost/charge instantly pass through Apple Pay to my payment card of choice. My user experience now requires asking the clerk to press a button on her/his screen to let me scan NoahsNYBagels for points, scan NoahsNYBagels , then ask the clerk to press another button to let me pay via Apple Pay, switch to Apple Pay on my phone, then tap to complete the transaction.

I know these user experience issues are really minor and petty, but issues #2-4 annoy me to the point where I avoid going to Noah’s more regularly to save myself the frustration.

I tried creating an order six times today because I would hit a button that would take me out of the ordering system and clear my cart in the process and completely start me over, which included a number of times where it had server connection issues during the third or fourth time when I finally was at the end. As a result, I had my order get screwed up because I had missed one piece on the sixth time ordering. Thankfully, the store was incredibly helpful in supporting me in the messed up order. Also, their customization doesn’t give all ingredients in their sandwiches. My wife had a weird tomato mayo spread on it that was not in the description, and I had no way to say I didn’t want it because I didn’t even know it was on it. This needs to be a lot better.

NoahsNYBagels is great to order ahead but has flaws - first the options to customize order are limited and don’t reflect all possible choices - you can’t customize on a nox sandwich and other sandwiches to remove items. This reflects poor service and training since they want to limit what they want their employees can or cannot do.
Second flaw is you can’t see what you’ve just ordered. It shows you ordered but no details. If you don’t take a snapshot before you order you have no proof if your order is right or wrong. Again reflective of bad service. It’s a shame Noah’s doesn’t value customer service as shown here and some other reviews. Good food and good service makes a great company and Noah’s is falling short in service dept.

Just downloaded NoahsNYBagels because I love Noah’s Bagels. However, I had some issues getting my order fulfilled. There is no place in NoahsNYBagels to show your order history, making the whole exchange confusing for everyone.

Also, if you select the curbside option, there is no place to notify the team you are here. And the only description you can provide for your vehicle is the color and the vehicle type, no make or model. I drive a White Sedan, along with many others in the parking lot. Why not include a box to simply describe the make of your car to assist the Noah’s team in finding the right car?

Great bagels! NoahsNYBagels just needs several small improvements.

I recently placed an order that my local Noah’s did not correctly fulfill. There is NO WAY to see the order that you placed, and no order history other than your balance of funds. You can’t show the store what you ordered! You can’t view or cancel an order you placed 5 seconds ago!

Luckily the store has a record of what you ordered (obviously), but they can’t refund you in NoahsNYBagels ! You have to go back to the store to get a refund separately from NoahsNYBagels ! What an awful experience. I had to spend 40 minutes traveling round trip for an order my local Noah’s messed up. Not fun, and obviously no compensation for my time. Not even a free stale bagel.

Fix your app! ALLOW US TO SEE WHAT WE ORDERED. ALLOW STORES TO REFUND DIRECTLY TO NoahsNYBagels ’S BALANCE!

Since Corporate wants to ignore me, I’ll just make myself known here. I had an issue that I wanted to resolve with this company by calling them. They said they couldn’t do anything (didn’t even try) so I asked to speak to someone who could help me, they said they would pass the problem to their manager and that they would reach out to me in 2 business days (never did). So I contacted them online stating what happened, and their online system of contacting corporate gets you no where as well. I used to come here on the daily, but since I don’t matter to them, I’ll gladly take my business else where. Don’t bother calling corporate for a valid reason, cuz they will make you feel invalid and won’t even bother with you at all. Again, this company’s Corporate Office is a JOKE.

More so than NoahsNYBagels, I want to rate your employees at your Sloat Blvd. location in San Francisco. I went there today and they were polite, friendly, and very helpful. I didn’t know how to scan my reward on NoahsNYBagels and the young woman who helped me was so patient. Made me feel like everyone had trouble scanning when I know they don’t, I’m just an old lady with little smart phone experience. Excellent service, the best customer service I’ve received in a long time! Thank you.

NoahsNYBagels was easy to set up and made ordering quick and easy. Unfortunately there isn’t any feedback mechanism: one of the kinds of bagels that I ordered apparently was out, so another was substituted without any confirmation. Either NoahsNYBagels shouldn’t allow ordering what’s not available (probably hard to implement) or the store should contact the customer to find out the preferred substitution. The latter should be easy since NoahsNYBagels has phone number and email address.

I will not use NoahsNYBagels in the future. I’ll place my order by calling the store, and if they can’t handle that I’ll buy bagels elsewhere.

This is the best Noah’s we have been to! The staff are always helpful and pleasant. We have had the door opened for us when we arrived. The people at the counter are so helpful and have no problem checking to see if there are extra bagels in the back. The bagels are cooked perfectly and tasty.

NoahsNYBagels generally is easy to navigate but making any adjustments to your order is not allowed.

Say for example I wanted to order a sandwich but I was allergic to one of the items. There’s no way to go in and ask that that item not be put on your sandwich. You can only order any of their items as is. If you require any adjustment to your sandwich you have to order in store. Which is definitely unfortunate because I’d probably go here more if I didn’t have to wait in line to order something more specific.

My family routinely orders from Noah’s each weekend, it’s almost a tradition. Love their bagels, and their spicy sausage sandwiches are fantastic.

NoahsNYBagels is a great start, but it needs a better way to customize orders of a box of bagels. Having to call after placing an order in NoahsNYBagels to tell them what you’d like kind of defeats the purpose, guys. Please, give a text field to request certain bagels, and schmear flavors, and if they’re out they’re out.

Good app, great food, but still room for improvement

I love going to Noah’s, as I cover lunch for my kids for a couple of days and everyone is happy. The only drawback is that I can’t order a dozen bagels and pick the bagels that I like. I’m forced to order in person. Another drawback is that, if I want to earn points for my in-person order, I have to enter my phone number at the cash register and it causes delays in finalizing my order. The staff is polite, but I can clearly see that they aren’t happy with the delay. By allowing me to order a custom dozen bagels on NoahsNYBagels , I will solve both problems!

I like Noah’s just fine, it’s a reasonably reliable bagel place. However when your app takes away literally all options to customize what is the point. When I went to order a nova lox sandwich they limited the bagels I could choose from, I could not remove any toppings or make a reasonable adjustment like switching type of cream cheese. Everyone from Starbucks to my local burrito place has figured out customization, and as someone who worked at Einsteins for too long I’ve seen the insane combinations people love. There’s absolutely no point in NoahsNYBagels and it feels like a gimmicky and stupid way to force people to come to their stores.

Simple interface and easy ordering. Much better than standing in the long line. Great that it has Apple Pay integration. Two criticisms. First the old interface could be made a bit easier to navigate. The way some options scroll left and right make it hard to see all options. Also not many customizations are available, for example if you want no cheese there’s not a a way to do that.

I just placed an order and need to confirm the location I just ordered… Surely I should be able to look at my account and see my previous order to confirm. Right? Nope. I had to bother a sales associate and confirm that my order was for the location I was at after “guessing” that I was at the right store.

My local stores offer poppy seed bagels and I’d love to order a breakfast bagel with my favorite bagel. Surely I should be able to do that. Right? Nope. I have to choose from a pre-filled list of generic bagels to choose from, with no way to write in a custom note.

I live equidistant from two stores. The one that is slightly further away is actually more convenient due to parking and traffic. Surely I should be able to choose that one as my favorite when placing orders. Right? Nope. I have to remember that NoahsNYBagels will automatically choose the closest store when starting a new order.

Come on Noah’s!!!

I decided to download NoahsNYBagels after waiting in line for 20 minutes one morning before work. Nobody has time does that! I placed my first order and there is no way to say you want schmear on the side. I’m not complicated. Just want a bagel, untoasted, with schmear on the side. I want to toast it once I get to work so it’s crunchy and not soggy. Add the ability to customize orders and NoahsNYBagels will be great. Go talk to your neighbors next door (Starbucks) to see how they do this.

You can’t see your past orders in NoahsNYBagels which is really inconvenient when they get something wrong because you can’t show them what you ordered exactly unless you have the receipt. It only shows that you ordered and that you paid but not exactly what you ordered. I hope they add this function in other updates. Other than that app works fine. Wish they offered for of their menu items, but I don’t know if that varies by location.

I also just downloaded NoahsNYBagels Monday to order the bakers dozen and found I could not select the bagels I wanted... just the apps selection.

In addition, NoahsNYBagels would not let me input my credit card information after trying a few times. After calling and ordering over the phone, it was not clear if the intent is that you must have cc info to order from NoahsNYBagels or you could select, pay in store option would be available. Maybe you could clarify payment options (if any).

This makes it easy to quickly order and then pick up in store. Wish there was more customization available on NoahsNYBagels . Allow people to have it cut in half or put light cream cheese. It is nice that we can do some like double roasting. But I always have to order and they hope it’s not done when I get there so I can tell them to cut it in half.

NoahsNYBagels connects you to your local Noah’s and gives you reward points. Pretty solid, but there’s no way to ask for special requests on your meal (allergy needs, no tomato, extra chives, whatever).
I couldn’t swap the bagel choice for a sandwich, for anything else. It’s not like they were out of the bagel I wanted, NoahsNYBagels just doesn’t always give you the option to change what bagel you want your sandwich to be on. I couldn’t choose a different side, or even no side, the chips was the only option.

I know the Noah’s near me is often busy and runs out of stock on some things but if something is out of stock it should appear on the menu and say “out of stock”. Not just disappear.

In current times I can’t just run over to Noah’s like usual, and was hoping to order with NoahsNYBagels . But NoahsNYBagels is a bit of a let down.

I used to simply just give my phone number to check in, but after one of your representatives mentioned NoahsNYBagels , I immediately downloaded it. I love the ease of using NoahsNYBagels , I just wish y’all gave more incentives for using NoahsNYBagels . ie.; MORE BONUS POINTS...!!! Also, sometimes NoahsNYBagels glitches out and it doesn’t work so I have to just give them my phone number.

Have been purchasing from Noah’s for years. I have always wondered why they were so behind Starbucks when it came to apps / rewards. The Noah’s app tracks point, provides rewards and is not gimmicky like that Starbucks app. Which prior to the Noah’s app, I would use very frequently. I now use Noah’s and barely start foot at Starbucks.

App is slow to load, and on many occasions, I don’t earn points for my purchase at Noah’s because the actual queue at the store is getting long and NoahsNYBagels is still deciding whether it would open or not. Ridiculous! I have a data plan - and even when I try to connect on Noah’s wifi, the process takes so long that I end up just going through with the purchase...which means I am unable to check-in and end up forfeiting my points. Please fix your app.

NoahsNYBagels is a great thing. Love that I can now order ahead and not have to wait in the long lines. Only problem is that my Apple Cinnamon bagel is NOT an available option on the menu. This means I spend less money buying a plain bagel since the gourmet option is missing. Nevertheless, happy to have NoahsNYBagels .

I've been going to Noah's bagels and checked in and went through. I would really wish that it'll have a Apple Wallet support to just check in faster without having to actually go in NoahsNYBagels which can save a minute in line. I would love to see NoahsNYBagels have Apple Wallet support in the very near future.

This is a nice group of people to know. When I come into the store they greet me with a smile and say hi Sally. Even when there are many customers to serve they are a quick as they can be without making an error in your order. I appreciate their hard work. Most people using NoahsNYBagels are aware of how it works and the great benefits of it. Now Noah’s Bagels has the task of actually training their staff on how NoahsNYBagels works. I’ve had several issues at the register with staff not knowing how to allow me to not only receive credits for my purchases but how to pay with NoahsNYBagels as well.

I was happy to see Noah’s trying to allow for mobile ordering. Unfortunately the customization of an order is so limited that I can’t use it. For example, I’d like to order a nova lox sandwich without cream cheese (I know, I’m the only one in the world who doesn’t like cream cheese) but it can’t be done. Also, if I want to add veggies to my kids bagels, can’t do it.

Hopefully this will be possible in future upgrades.

The application is easy to use and it makes my purchase more conveniently and effectively. I enjoy the quality of food with friendliness of the servers. Thanks, Noah’s. It’s been my most favorite breakfast since college!

This team is superb! I used to ‘wait’ awhile for my order but now, no more! It seems they have perfected their service supply chain and it shows!! Yesterday, one of their workers recognized me, took my order and by the time I paid for it, it was ready!! Love it!!

I use to go in and stand line in he morning on way to work. Can a little busy and would have to wait. Now I order using in app and my order is ready when I get there. No more waiting in line.

Love NoahsNYBagels. Makes it easy to order ahead, check in for points and rewards, and add money to my account if I want. I wish noaha accepted apple pay, would make it a little easier for me... But NoahsNYBagels is a good substitute. Thanks for the free bagels and drinks and great deals!

I downloaded NoahsNYBagels on my first ever visit to Noah’s. First I’d like to say that I love the atmosphere of the Noah’s in Tustin, CA as well as the bagel options and friendliness of the staff. NoahsNYBagels is also very easy to use and you automatically get a free bagel with shmear upon downloading. I love Noah’s bagels!

The location on Victoria in Ventura is the best! Ron the manager really takes care of his guests

The team is super friendly with big smiles every time I come in. I have been a regular for years and come at least once a week.
