TurnLive -Live Wallpaper Maker Reviews

So I got TurnLive because a friend recommended it for me. She said it was “great” “worked well” “could do anything on it” WRONG! I can’t to anything. I can’t get through a quarter of my photos without TurnLive closing automatically. And the GIF section doesn’t even work! And not to mention that you can’t make anything more than 3 sec without paying! Now you might be thinking 💭 3sec is a lot of time. Well when I say 3 sec here’s what I mean, you can’t add more than 3 photos and you only get a millisecond for each pic. And you know how I said TurnLive closes automatically, well sometimes I can’t even spend a sec on TurnLive without it closing. And this is NOT my phone, because I got another app like this and it works just fine. Save yourself some time and don’t bother with TurnLive. Thank you for listening to me. Again DO NOT get TurnLive. I tried doing TurnLive and what it says but it won’t work so it tells you to find photos of your choice and then once you have them you set the time and all that then here is the part I don’t understand is it says to go to where it saved in your photos go to share and click the wallpaper icon and then put set and then put Lock Screen and that sounds simple right… WRONG when it saves into your photos it isn’t a live thing so all your really doing is wasting your time going through all these steps when really if you want to just put a picture for a wallpaper just go to settings and do it there it takes less time to do that and you shouldn’t get TurnLive cause you will wast your time and do all this work for absolutely nothing so that why I suggest not getting TurnLive…

I had just downloaded TurnLive after reading the reviews. I started using TurnLive and it kept nagging you to get Premium (which is normal for a lot of apps). So I went to go make a Live Wallpaper. After I got the video situated it said “Only Premiums Can Make Longer Than 5 Second Wallpapers” or something like that. And I had an 8 second one. So I cut it down and it left me barely any of the video I chose. So I just tried to remember that it was still a Live Wallpaper and I should-be happy with it anyways. So I went onto the next thing which was if you wanted any repeats or not. And of course you need to be Premium to repeat anything. So then you choose your cover and your done. (I heard people’s other reviews and I figured out it was because of an update.)

TurnLive was extremely frustrating for me to use. First of all without premium you can only do up to 5 sec. TurnLive kept crashing for me when I tried to but the photo slideshow together and then I would have it start all over scrolling through my whole camera roll looking for the pictures I like. And sometimes it wouldn’t let me click the done button up top but when it did it would start loading then stop and I would have to start over again. I finally got the video together and it is sort of blurry on my lock screen and the first time it didn’t even fit my phone and would cut some of the pictures off. But I do like having a Live Photo as my lock screen so that’s the positive note.

I understand that the whole point of an app is to profit from if but if you won’t even allow me to try all the features of TurnLive for a single day how do you expect me to want to buy it. Honestly it’s a wonderful app from what I can see but the fact that you’re trying so hard for us to purchase TurnLive and not caring about our actual experience with it is pretty pathetic so that why it received the rating it did from me. I can also understand that you want to keep some features of TurnLive to only the premium paying customers which is understandable, and you want to try to eliminate people getting the free trial to make a wallpaper then never actually purchasing TurnLive but come on. There has to be a balance, and this IS NOT IT.

For a while now I’ve been wanting to make some live wallpapers for my iPhone, but I never wanted to take the time looking up tutorials and going to all these different sites... Then one day it hit me- Maybe there’s an app for that?

And sure enough, there is!

TurnLive is EXACTLY what I needed and works beautifully! Thank you for making this, I can now make my own live wallpapers (or even just live photos ) within a minute! It’s so user friendly and convenient, I’ll definitely recommended this to whoever needs an app like this!

Alright, when I first open TurnLive it’s actually pretty excited. I looked at one of the reviews and it said that it worked really well, and I had this GIF that I really wanted to make into a live wallpaper, I then got a notification for the premium thing and I thought that I would still be able to do what I wanted to do. Turns out I was wrong, I first tried making the GIF into a live photo, TurnLive kept on crashing and did not let me access it, I’ve been got the video format of it and try turning that into a wallpaper, but it only had a max of three seconds. I’m honestly not impressed

Ok ok so First of all my iPhone is an iPhone11 and it says my iPhone is too old! LIKE WHAT!? Am I supposed to have an iPhone12 or something? THOSE DONT EVEN EXIST! Second of all..When I fixed that problem it didn’t even let me use it.i only got wallpapers that didn’t move! Excuse me but this developer is crazy. And guess what...I had to buy PREMIUM TO USE LIVE WALLPAPERS?!!!! Um this is not what I wanted! This is serious too! I tried like fifteen times and it didn’t work without premium. Last and Worst! if you can’t fix those problems it kicks you out and forces you to rate at least three starts! Hope this developer fixes this because it’s too dumb. DONT DOWNLOAD THIS!

You have to sign up for a “free trial” to even use it, they know people will forget to cancel it and get charged. I just paid 2.99 to some other phony wall paper maker app and I’m not doing it again. I remember when apps were completely free and then smart devices exploded overnight and everyone has one so developers are exploiting this by charging you for every single “feature”. This is a weekly subscription until the end of time to use TurnLive, Jesus Christ, the greed is insane, a one time, nominal payment is acceptable but not a subscription.

I love it. It used and app called Lomotif to make a video of all my fav pics and vids together and saved it to my camera roll and then when I uploaded to TurnLive it did it’s magic and made my video into a Live Photo for my lock screen. I’ve tried about 5 app and none of them came close to this one. Really recommend it.

I rated it one star because you have to pay to do it is not worth it you really don’t want to pay I hope you don’t spend your money with a app if you get you might want to delete it who ever made this game is greedy you won’t want to download TurnLive and all you do on it is live wallpaper it might seem cool at first but it is not this game is terrible I wouldn’t download this there are a lot of other apps that do this it’s not good you shouldn’t pay for this for a pointless app they make you pay months and years

I got TurnLive hoping it would do what it says with my animal videos. When I got it I couldn’t get it to be live and move. I was sort of confused with why it wouldn’t move. I don’t know if it was an app disfunction, or if it was me doing it wrong. I am not trying to be rude to TurnLive makers, but I am saying it might have been me making it not work.🤔

I was looking for a place to turn my 30 second video into a Live Photo for my Lock Screen, however on this search I came across this atrocity. when I first went into TurnLive everything worked fine until I put my video and a message popped up, telling me in order to get any longer then a 3 second video you would need to pay. Why would I pay for anything I will only use maybe once or twice a month. Don’t get this it isn’t worth the money.

TurnLive works, and pretty well, but whenever I try to do anything, TurnLive stretches out my pictures and it’s really getting on my nerves. I try to fix it but anything I try doesn’t work. I don’t know if it fixes itself when you apply the wallpaper but if it doesn’t then I’m deleting TurnLive. When I was looking into making live wallpapers, there was another app that was recommended but I guess I confused the two

TurnLive tries CONSTANTLY to get you to agree to monthly automatic re-billing forever so even if you don’t use TurnLive it will steal your money from any cards connected to your Apple ID.
Every time it prompts you to give them money it has an ANNOYING scrolling type haptic feedback (which is NOT what Apple intended you to use their “Taptic Engine” for).
I couldn’t even convert a GIF into a live wallpaper because it just gets stuck at the “choose a cover photo” screen.
Garbage app highly annoying physical feedback.

I’m sure there are people who love TurnLive, but I only needed one thing, an app that wouldn’t make me cut my 20 second video and i was willing to pay a small fee for it, so I pay the .99 cents for a month, and what do I get? No change at all, it still tells me that I can’t go over 5 seconds, I’ve deleted TurnLive and reinstalled it, but it doesn’t work, and it still keeps popping up asking me to subscribe, and when I click on it, it says, “You’ve already subscribed to this.” Yeah, I know, I just wasted .99 cents.

Let me just start by saying I LOVE TurnLive. Most apps like this always have something on the side which ends up making TurnLive terrible. TurnLive has straight up no jokes. You go to TurnLive , get your video, make the live wallpaper, and go! I know for a fact I’m gonna be using TurnLive for a while.

Ok so I found TurnLive and I thought it look amazing and I made my first live wallpaper and it said it could not be more then three seconds long and it was rude so if you could pls fix TurnLive without the premium thanks!!

So I have a minute video and I want to make it into a live wallpaper but, it only takes like like 3/4’s of it so can you make it longer, overall though it’s really good and you should buy it because it’s worth it!

Well to start it doesn’t work on iPads so I was like ok I will try it on my phone and it says that it was too old like bro it’s the iPhone 7 it’s not that old. Any way I tried it on a friends phone because I wanted to see how it worked and she has the iPhone 11 so we did it but you can only make 5 second videos unless you play 2.99 a month which is a rip off so just don’t buy TurnLive.

I’ve had TurnLive for a while now. It was my favorite video to live wallpaper app that I’ve tried because there was no paying for better quality. Then the update happened and now you have to pay for the “premium” stuff that you used to be able to do for free. It used to be the best app now its like all the others I’ve tried.

THIS IS THE VEST APP EVER! Though the only down side is the length of the wallpapers. For example you can choose to repeat it 5 TIMES! but still you can’t put a video that’s 20 or 30 seconds long. But besides that it’s also not pure/ clear video, you can see the pixels and stuff. Not to complain or anything I mean what else do you expect but still, the little things. Otherwise it’s a great and working app, good job!

When I downloaded TurnLive I was so exited to have a live wallpaper but then I noticed it didn’t work for my iPad so then I got disappointed but I hope they can fix it so that it works on iPads and phones, but therefore TurnLive is really good I do recommend it

I had a video from a concert and turned it into a Live Photo and ofc I deleted it and when I changed my lockscreen it was gone forever but thanks to TurnLive i finally have it back and i could not be happier, 10/10, 100% would rec

i love TurnLive. i was able to turn my video with music into a live photo. the only downside was that the music didnt transfer over to the live picture. i tried another live photo maker app i had before and it was able to transfer the music over to the live photo when i pressed on the photo to play it. is there a way that the music could also transfer over? or am i just doing something wrong? im new to TurnLive so i mightve missed something im hoping the developer responds

I got TurnLive and I was really excited because I thought it actually might work but I was disappointed. I saved the photos to my camera roll but I couldn’t get it to be live. I also saw many reviews like this so I now it’s not just me feeling this way. I’ve downloaded so many live apps like this but so far none of them have worked Nad I was really hoping this one would.😦

In the description of TurnLive , it says it is compatible with my iPhone (an iPhone 6s) but as I am inside TurnLive and create a live wallpaper, it says, “Oh no 😱 We’re Sorry, but it appears that this is not compatible with your phone,” or something to that effect, even though it works perfectly fine. Please fix this, it’s very annoying.
