Really smooth app that actually has the same grammar from the free guide provided by Tae Kim! I'm so glad someone finally made the mobile version again in fact I'd say this was better than the predecessor! It actually comes with the exercises but in a separate section of LearningJapanesewithTaeKim ! Of course the content is what's great about LearningJapanesewithTaeKim it has all of the grammar organized well and the tab bar where it's presented has a smooth transition as well as, it's easy to swipe between grammar points. I hope others are able to take notice because LearningJapanesewithTaeKim developer saved the day for Japanese language learners! Thanks for making LearningJapanesewithTaeKim possible because I was really hoping to have the guide back on iOS! It really is a blessing!

This is one of the best guides for learning Japanese that you can find. Having it in the form of an App makes it so much easier. The only thing that I’ve noticed that’s missing from the old version of LearningJapanesewithTaeKim is the ability to click on highlighted kanji to see the reading in hiragana. If that is added back in it would be perfect.

I never write reviews but this one deserves it. It is an extremely free and thorough app to learning Japanese. There are work sheets, examples, videos and many other learning tools. It is like taking a class on learning Japanese and the fact that it is free is amazing. I thought I’d have to pay a ton of money for something like this. I’m very impressed！

I wasn’t able to use LearningJapanesewithTaeKim anymore after iOS 11 but I’m glad you guys not only made LearningJapanesewithTaeKim compatible again but also added exercises separately. Really cool. I missed using LearningJapanesewithTaeKim and now I can go back to studying grammar again.

LearningJapanesewithTaeKim has an extremely useful and comprehensive guide to a lot of Japanese grammar. The only complaint I could possibly think of is that it’d be nice to have the articles in smaller chunks so it’s easier to find specific grammar.

Useful, but there should be an introductory explanation of the particles and suffixes used. It was difficult for me to understand why they were using だ instead of です and so on, because I studied with a tutor that taught me formal Japanese primarily. It would have saved me a lot of time on google if I had understood that beforehand.

I’ve been taking Japanese class now for a few months, but the textbook we have been using hasn’t been helpful (Minna no Nihongo), LearningJapanesewithTaeKim though is great for studying and learning. Highly recommend for anyone interested!!!

It is so far exactly what I needed for learning grammar but it would be highly beneficial if the underlined words were tappable and would show you the definition/translation on the spot.

The hiragana is wrong on lesson about desu. It has the hiragana for da. The website shows it right, LearningJapanesewithTaeKim has incorrect hiragana.
