I took off one star because loss of my equipment can not be insured by the day for one event, but only if I pay monthly for a policy. Also a side note: it’s tough to find the daily insurance button to buy another policy if you already bought one for a different day. Hint: Look underneath the current policy on your dashboard to find the button to buy another day. Don’t hit the “get quote” button! Totally confusing. However, this insurance is otherwise perfect for a “side gig” wedding videographer like me. Many wedding venues require me to have insurance, but I don’t have enough wedding video jobs on the books to make an annual policy worth it. Thimble is a great solution. Also, once you know where to find the button as described above, it’s incredibly easy to use ThimbleInsurance .

I’m a small business and it’s seasonal. It’s hard to justify paying for insurance all year every month. With thimble I can have an insurance policy per job or per day. Keeps my coats down but I still have the coverage I need.

I have the original Verifly app and I am happy to see ThimbleInsurance come out. Haven’t needed to use it yet because I have been studying for my Part 107 certification but after that I’ll be using it along with my other insurance companies to make sure I am fully covered in case of an accident.

I purchased a liability policy for a month as a handy man first month was $435 & every month the amount would go down. I got an opportunity to basically flip 8 apt. Units.
they were asking for this document along with my bid.
Within minutes of purchase I was emailed my documents it was very easy but 2 days latter I found out I did not need liability to do these units. I read that a full refund is available within a few hrs of purchase so I cancelled hoping I would get some type of refund to my surprise I got $395 back within 24 hrs.
I’ll definitely keep them in mind for the future

Thimble is perfect! Allows you to purchase insurance for one day or even a few hours if needed. My business doesn’t generate enough money to purchase monthly insurance which is why for every job Thimble had my back for the hours I am at the job! 👍🏼

Thimble is by far the most amazing place to get insurance. I had a span of time when I wasn’t doing contractor work anymore and I didn’t need insurance, canceling was super easy. Now I’m back and am paying the same amount as before. No price increase! Absolutely amazing

Thanks to Thimble, I was able to afford the coverage I needed to compete with the franchised competitors in order to keep my mom and pop snow removal business alive for another season due to requirements from the client. This client requires proof of insurance and it may only get enough accumulated snow to plow, three times all season. We can’t afford to purchase insurance all year and remain competitively priced.
