I love writing music and being able to listen to the song and have the notes next to you is the most efficient set up: Lyrist was very very simple and incredibly useful for the 2-4 years I saved notes. I've lost all access, and if I already wrote something, I can't see unless I subscribe. This is just as bad as losing an entire hard-drive. No I'm not paying to view things that you said would always be free.

Repeatedly tried to have a link sent to my email but even after a few tries, it didn’t work. Never got to use Lyrist

Its just one of those apps you download just to delete, it will loose your lyrics, it will lag, it wont let you write in certain spots, complete garbage, the notes app is 1000x better than this. If you use Lyrist your only throwing music away because IT DOES NOT WORK. Thanks to the creator for loosing a ton of my lyrics and songs, Lyrist deserves zero stars.

Definitely some room for improvement. But it is pretty good. I like being able to take notes as I watch a video and save those notes. I’m not much of a song writer, but for what I used it for it works pretty well. I wish it would save notes when you click off the video, that you could organize your library better, and that it saved where you are in the video as you take notes.

Would Make It Better If Yall Added A Section For Suggestions As Far As Lyrics

Lyrist is a 5 star only issue is the keyboard overlaps your writing and you cannot see the text. I have a iPhone plus so the screen is big enough

Finally an app that lets you write lyrics with the beat on the same screen!!
Also has a nice rhyme lookup built in. 10/10 recommend.

Lyrist is everything your looking for if you hear a song and want to go in! It is a nice way to keep you organized!

Lyrist is so useful for writing, and I don’t just mean songs. It’s literally a full set of writing equipment, with features like rhyme and phrase finders and a thesaurus all built in so that you can have everything all in one place. Highly recommend for anyone looking to write in any fashion.

Lyrist is perfect for any musician or anyone who loves to write! It’s great to see something like this out, because it is unlike anything else on the market. Instead of using different outlets to listen to music and write, you have the opportunity to use a single page to listen to the music and write your lyrics as you go.

I’ve clocked in probably over 100 songs on Lyrist. Personally I’d recommend

Everything is organized and simple to use.
Though I’m not a song writer Lyrist does make it much easier to write to music. You can even play inspirational instrumentals and write poetry as well. It would be awesome to see how themes could be added to Lyrist. The only issue I have is with the dark mode when in the writers block section, it hides the status bar. I’m not sure if this is intended though.

Yo Lyrist has the missin key with that youtubd search, make the videos able to loop & alot more in depth word search(not just rhymes i mean) & id be willin to pay for Lyrist no doubt. As of right now i only use this literally bc i love the idea that much & see the potential everytime im on it but I typically stick to using the others with a very in depth word search. Im forreal prayin you decide to make some kinda upgrade tho man lol i dont normally leave comments but i had to for this one. I think its a good app tho forreal
