Virtually every control for the train is right on the edge of the screen, and you slide your finger to operate the controls. Well, guess what? Apple engineers use the exact same ‘swipe from the edge’ motion to switch between apps. Try explaining to a 2 or 3 year old that they can’t actually touch the edge of the phone when trying to grab the speed control knob which is literally .1” away from the edge of the screen. If your child isn’t exactly precise in their finger position they end up starting to switch between apps, and the instant you begin to switch apps, the Bluetooth connection is disconnected and you must wait about 5 seconds for it to reconnect. Incredibly frustrating. Even more so when you realize all the LEGO developers had to do to discover this issue is let one or two children use the app for all of 5 minutes before they realized how big of a design flaw this layout is.

Concur with others... the train won’t connect with my iPad Pro. Inches away, Bluetooth is enabled, and location services are on (the app doesn’t appear on the Location Services list, so can’t be enabled individually).
Also, for anyone that uses an iPad with a stand (almost everyone) the app is stuck in an upside down position.
So yea, not good.

No sound from this app on iPad Air 2. Newest iOS and rebooted multiple times. Reloaded app several times. Tech support seems nonexistent. Ipad says this is compatible. Useless if it’s not for iPad it shouldn’t be marketed as such.
