Close, but still needs work

I like the updated layout of the Dashboard. The issue is the alerts and detail functionality. For the alerts, when a new survey comes in the notification bubble displays the total number of alerts you have- both read and unread. I’ve looked in settings and everything appears set up to display new only but Medallia does not behave that way. The issue with details for me is when clicking into a new response, Medallia always errors out and I have to click retry every time to actually read the detail of an individual response.

Overall, I like the mobile access to the data but this updates leaves this user frustrated on a daily basis. If these issues can be fixed, you’ve got a powerful tool to keep track of very important metrics.

Forced Upgrade - Less Functionality

I was recently forced to upgrade my app, and while the new version is easier on the eyes, it severely lacks the functionality of the old app.

Scorecards now lack the ability to display multiple metrics, and you can no longer collapse the graph. This requires an excessive number of scorecards to show the same data, and you can only see two scorecards on the screen at the same time. The dashboard shows some of the information I’m looking for, but isn’t nearly as customizable as the previous scorecards. For example, I use net promoter score very little, but can’t replace it with metrics I need to monitor more closely.

The ranking table is absolutely useless, as it only shows my location, and doesn’t allow much customization of filters. Ranker previously allowed me to see how I compared to other locations within my company, and now I am only able to my own.

The notifications tab and responses tab are essentially showing the same exact thing, so there’s no value there.

The alert table, when tapped, only displays the number of alerts, but won’t take you to any of them.

Medallia falls woefully short of my expectations for the amount of money spent on these services.

Ranking table needs work

One of the main reasons why I use Medallia is to track overall satisfaction scores across 50+ restaurants. The way that you have it set up (individually putting in all the restaurants I need to view in the filter) means that 80% of the screen is taken up with the filter criteria with the remaining 20% available for results. This is worthless!I have completely gone back to using Magalia through the web absence the mobile app is now worthless to me. Fix it so that you can minimize the filter criteria and view ranking table information in full screen, while being able to view amount of surveys along with overall score without having to cycle through them. this app 2 had this - it wasn’t broken so why change it?

Give us back the features

The newest update has the worst mobile feature for the dashboard. It is clearly not meant for mobile, it is impossible to even see anything on it, especially the ranker, and no good way to filter to see what you need to. Also, Please put the scorecard options we had with the old version back. The ones we have now do not allow you to filer out and save the same way, with multiple locations, it makes Medallia nearly unusable for anything other than reading a response, everything else I have to get on the computer to do now since Medallia doesn’t do any of the things it did before.

Updates

You guys did good with update but the notifications usually on the bottom right hand side on Medallia are used mark as all red but it still shows notifications like I have more and I don’t usually like to see those keep popping back up Ik that’s weird to say but maybe I’m missing something If anyone can help me with that but I mainly use responses so that one is a lot better

Not finding any alerts

I like the new app dashboard showing our hotel scores, however the only drawback I find is the lack of alerts that I use to get with the old app. I use to get an alert when a new review was posted so I could reply to it in a timely fashion. With this new app, these alerts are missing. I am with Choice Hotels and by their standards of reviews below a certain score are not answered within 72 hours it costs the hotel money.

Much Improved

Medallia is much improved from the last version. Easier to navigate and far cleaner.

However, there’s a couple things I’d like to see added in the future...

For multi-unit owners, it’d be very beneficial to drill down to a specific store level dashboard straight from the company level dashboard, rather than having to “filter” to a specific store.

Also... I’d like to be able to see the total surveys for a given period right on the company level dashboard for each location.... perhaps there could be a Store Snapshot section that displays a summary of each store’s metrics: OSAT & Total Surveys.

Feedback on Choice

Updated the mobile app. Still not able to reply to guest feedback on choice...keeps saying “ something went wrong “. ... then it only allows you to forward the feedback rather giving the option to reply..
That means you have log in on choice central then log in on this app .... then reply from there. What’s the point of the mobile app??

Terrible

It’s very unorganized and the visuals of Medallia are terrible. It’s not supposed to look like the desk top on the phone. It should be simple so I can quickly see where I am and let me use the website to see more details or give me a way to see more on Medallia but make the main view easy to see where my numbers are and check my responses. This is terrible and the old one was great! Change it back! And to put the ratings of the old app with the new app, that’s a problem. Show the true ratings of this new mobile 3 app. Medallia is terrible.

Can’t open a survey for two days

U usually like Medallia but i can’t open surveys for 2 days now. When i click, it tells me to wait a few mins and try again. I’m going to have to use my PC to open alerts/surveys. I have already deleted and re-downloaded. Nothing.

Great for iPhone. Horrible for iPad

I use this frequently as my family owns two hotels and get many reviews a day. It works great for when I’m on the go and am using my iPhone but when it comes to using my iPad i am extremely disappointed. There is so much that could be done to make a useful app but unfortunately they didn’t take advantage of the opportunity. 5 stars for iPhone. 0 stars for iPad.

They treat non English names as profanity

I found out that each time a patient mentions my name to give me shout out, this app censors my name. So I created a ticket informing them that their platform treats my name as a profanity. This had been going on for years, so I felt compelled to address it.

They responded and acknowledged that they are in fact censoring/masking my name. They claim that my name is also a name of a drug.

I have been a pharmacist for almost 10yrs and I know for a fact that that is not true.

It is unfortunate that positive this app mentions present my colleagues in a positive way and consciously or unconsciously, they affect promotions, raises and/or general perception. However these people censor my name. That is the definition of “institutionalized racism”

Your platform is absurd and discriminatory. I hope companies ditch you for that!

Notifications not working

The notification bubble will not clear out causing the bubble to always show the total amount of surgery over time. When I tap on the notification tab inside Medallia in the bottom of the screen, it gives me a blank screen and does not show any notifications. Other than that Medallia is a great functional app.

Super easy to use

Nice app for checking feedback and responding to accounts. Typically check it several times a day for a couple minutes or in between sales meetings. Definitely recommend

Compile list with Average

I tried all different angle to bring back the dashboard with average score for each individual sales and it doesn’t seems to be available. I have also requested contact for the desktop display. Still don’t know how to receive assistance from this app as they do not offer any customer assistance other than communicating by email.

Logging out

With this new update it logs me out every time I try to go in! I get a notification that I have a new response then when I click to view it makes me log in every time! Frustrating!

LYING about rating!!

For a company that makes a living on ways to rate companies why do you say you are a 5 star I can’t even find 1 5 star they are all 1 and 2 stars????? Also, I can’t respond from app to customers that leave messages and I can’t open alerts from phone I have to use cpu. Alerts stay open unless I go in turn off alerts save and then turn them back on. For what my company pays for it’s not even close to being worth what we’re charged!

New iPad software

Medallia hit the market over 2 years ago. Have been using this app 2 for work and was forced to go to 3. You are too big of a company to not have Medallia to be formatted to an iPad or other tablets. I have to download the iPhone version and expand it. Not a big deal to you but as someone who works pretty exclusively on an iPad and someone who has high standards. I wish you would perform better.

Invaluable for on the go

I can’t be at my desk all the time, and the this app app makes it so I can see and respond immediately to feedback my clients have. The different notification options are a big plus to me too.

Use Medallia frequently as I’m traveling to quickly get a snapshot of how my accounts are doing before I visit them. Easy to close the loop with customers too- integrated with Salesforce makes reaching out easy.

Allows me to do almost everything I would do in the desktop version. Only have to log into the desktop version when I need to do deeper analysis.

New App Is OK but needs iPad landscape mode desperately

The new this app 3 app is an okay app as the UI is simpler to view data, but it desperately needs iPad landscape mode. For someone looking at survey reviews constantly, I use my iPad for screen space and landscape mode at that to work. Medallia does not support that but the old this app 2 app did. Please put iPad landscape mode back into Medallia plan. Thx.

Not working at all

After the last update it is not working at all. After i sign it it goes back to the main screen and says something went wrong to try it again and gives me the logout button. It will not let me try again and when i pushed the logout button work.

Work related

Had used Medallia then did update and kept crashing with pulling up reviews. Did additional update that said fixes crashes and still no fix. Was an amazing app when working correctly! Had to uninstall. Hopefully will be fixed soon!

Medallia allows me to stay actionable with my customers as I get new feedback from them. I love the latest design. Beautiful and functional!

Please put the scores in the push notification.

The old this app app had the score, name of the guest, and partial review in the push notifications. Now with the new app we have to tap on the notification to go to the review to see the overall score. Please fix this. Also I didn’t see anything wrong with the old app and did not like being forced into downloading the new app.
