No refill prescription You gotta pay the visit fee each time. Why? And you only disclose this after payment to doctor ? That will be last time I am using this service. Update: maple sent an email that the decision is made by the doctor while the doctor said the decision is made by maple. Not really helpful. If there is a way to get a refund I would do so.

Can’t say how impressed I am with this app. I am a Canadian citizen, but an American resident, so no longer have health care coverage here in Quebec. I tired visiting local clinics here, but two I visited would not accept me as a non resident, and one wanted $140 CAD for a consultation. Desperate to just refill a prescription, I turned to the internet and found Maple. To be honest, I was very skeptical to sign up, but within 15 minutes of doing so I had A/ registered B/ consulted with a specialist and C/ had my prescription FAXED to my local pharmacy (with an option for free home delivery!), all for 1/3 of what it would have cost me to visit a doctor in person. I really can’t recommend this app enough to people who need a simple prescription refill or a consultation. What a great idea!

Walk in clinic’s because of covid and the past year has been a headache, I’ve had to wait nearly one week to have a consultation over the phone then another half a week for an in person visit. I was experiencing severe bladder pains and needed antibiotics as I have before so I knew antibiotics were needed. I was matched with a doctor in 10 minutes, asked for photo of and such to disclose any person medications or allergies and got a prescription in 30 minutes. Please if you are in any pain or discomfort and cannot wait the week to visit your local walk in clinic try maple! Make sure to disclose with your family doctor about your use with the app as well!
