Highly recommend LifeLapse, great features, constantly improving. On a number of times we have reached out to the customer service and LifeLapse owner Sarah personally reached out to me and my wife and blew us away with how much she cares about our experience and our projects and making sure our needs are met. Not only that but making improvements on LifeLapse based on our use. I could not be happier with paying a couple of bucks a year to have this awesome app and for Sarah to personally communicate with us. Help support LifeLapse, community and Sarah.
Ps we are using LifeLapse to record my wife's 1st pregnancy so LifeLapse has been an important part of this important time in our lives. Again Sarah thank you for all of your help

I’ve been using LifeLapse since it first started and have always had issues with the Bluetooth remote. Stop motion is 10x harder and can be blurry if you don’t use a remote. If the remote doesn’t work, LifeLapse is useless to me. Just when it seemed to finally work, I got the iPhone 13 and it stopped working again. Months and months of the problem not being fixed after I talked to them directly. They wouldn’t give me a refund either. I’ve stopped using LifeLapse completely and now wasted a whole year subscription. It’s easier to just use your phone camera and have the Bluetooth remote work right for stop motions. LifeLapse also cuts out so much of the picture. If you have small rooms, it’ll be so zoomed in. You see more of the photo if you use your phone and edit in “InShot”. I loved LifeLapse and company for the longest time and promoted them on social media a ton but have really felt like recently they just want to keep my money and not fix the problem. A refund would’ve been greatly appreciated after years of loyalty for your app not working and being unable to use it for months.

Overall, I was pleased with the results of LifeLapse. I love that there is no adds! 😊However, I did not like the fact that they took away the music feature and gave it a price. I really wish they had not discontinued the 10 or so songs that you used to be able to use for this app for free. I understand that there are financial issues, but I had some pretty great videos with the available songs that my whole family enjoyed. We were all pretty bummed when our old videos no longer had music to go with them. I, and I’m sure many users of LifeLapse, would really appreciate if you could please give back our music. Even just one or two songs would suffice. It was one of the many wonderful aspects of LifeLapse. I would have given it 4.5 stars if I could. I don’t think anyone is being “greedy”, but I miss the music, that’s all. Thank you for all the hard work you put in LifeLapse, developers 😁☺️!

I really think LifeLapse is very useful! And gives me and I think lots more people inspiration to create new thinks in creative ways! I know it did inspire me. But I think if you want people to use your app more and be inspired by it I think it should be free. Because there is so many things I wanted to do with LifeLapse but I couldn’t because I had to pay and I don’t think it’s right for people to pay for something so cool! If the whole pro part of LifeLapse was free I would definitely give it 5 stars! But overall LifeLapse is amazing and so useful in many ways! Please consider what I have to say and that is the pro part should be free because I know so many people who could do amazing things with LifeLapse that could also inspire others. Thank you so much for LifeLapse it has given me ways to make stories and so many other cool things please have pro free it would make so many people I know happy and use LifeLapse so much more than they already do!

Very awesome! I love using LifeLapse, it definitely makes stop-motion 10x easier! LifeLapse is also very easy to figure out and use, which makes me happy. The style is very simplistic and helpful and I can’t wait to use it over and over again for my new videos. (I also appreciate that it doesn’t upload the ten million pictures into my photos, just the video)

That being said, I do wish that there was a cheaper option for some of the features. I know you can use the free trial and decide what you think, but I feel that it would be rather nice if I had the ability to buy select features for less money, since I’d rather not spend so much all at once. I understand that coordinating all these things can be tricky and I think you guys have done an excellent job with LifeLapse, my day was really made when I found this😊👏🏽

I can’t shout how much I love LifeLapse loudly enough! I am a home baker and I use it to make fun videos with my baked goods. It opened a whole new world of creativity and fun for me, let alone a whole new opportunity for my baking. I have had brand interest as a result. And, you can make wonderful videos from your phone with minimal expense. They have great tutorials and have always been incredibly responsive. With anything new it takes a little time to know all the ins and outs but they are there to help. It is user friendly and versatile. The shadowing helps you keep your video on track. I love the export/import feature if you need extra edits (not that you do). So much to play with here. I LOVE LifeLapse!

It is a great start to a tool that could be great. However a huge problem right now is lack of a voice command to take a photo. Check out the free YOYI app as an example. Just say “YOYI” and it takes a photo. I do prefer Life Lapse over that one because it packs more features. But having to purchase a clumsy Bluetooth remote to take a photo just means more to fumble with during a shoot. This needs a voice command. Life Lapse also needs a better icon. It’s dreadful and not something I want on my home screen alongside other well designed icons on a dark background. Please also add a dark mode like YOYI has. My final and biggest complaint is the developer greed of $3 every month. This is so unnecessary. This is a $3 one-time cost app at best. Please stop the developer greed of always having a subscription just because you can. I’ll use it for now, despite everything I’ve said, but as soon as another app comes along that doesn’t have these problems, I’m out.

I had seen other people do stop motions and get lots of likes so I wanted to find out how I could make mine so I searched stopmotion on LifeLapse Store and found LifeLapse, before I found LifeLapse I had found lots of other apps that weren’t good and I was expecting this one to be like the other apps but it wasn’t it is amazing I use it all the time and I love how you can save videos cause then I get to upload my videos. Also I really like how you can make tons of stopmotion without paying for anything this is the best stopmotion app I’ve ever had thank you

I have had a fascination with stop motion animation for as long as I can remember and on a whim decided to find an app to make some animations of mine own, enter Life Lapse! It is very user/beginnner friendly with helpful tutorials. The free version is great but I eventually upgraded to the yearly subscription and have been very pleased. I think the most ideal use of LifeLapse would be for promotional clips to show off product for a business, but I have been able to make it work for my collage animations and artwork. Very fun but can also be an incredible tool 👌🏻

Positives:
1. It lets you import images so you don’t have to take crappy images on your device and instead you take images on an iPhone 11 Pro and airdrop it there and import it.
2. It’s very easy and simple to use.
Negatives:
1. IT CRASHES SO MUCH!!! Like so much I’m getting a different app.
2. It won’t let even do a voiceover! No sounds or anything- for the free version.
3. I am aware you can change the speed but when you want something to walk fast but it’s walking like people in the Justice League it’s a bit annoying. The fastest option is SO slow.

If you are trying to make VERY short stop motions then yea do LifeLapse. If your someone whose trying to make a short story then I would suggest a different app.

Also, if your a developer reading this I would appreciate if you respond. It would be a Christmas miracle because of all the ratings I write none of the developers ever respond.

I just came across LifeLapse while reading a blog & was excited about trying it out. I read the list under the in app purchases section and it seemed like you could pay for individual packages as needed but alas that’s not the case & I found it really sad & irritating. I’m not sure why I need to be on a subscription to have watermarks removed from the final result.
It’s a really great app & nicely done & I know you have to earn your money. There’s nothing wrong with that but I would recommend to the developers to at least have the watermark as a separate standalone fee & then other things like the extra music tracks, etc can be available for subscription if they still want to go that route

So I got this game and I’m like this will be fun🤗 So I went into Life Lapse and I made a stop motion and I try to make like a voiceover pretty much but it cost PRO (vip) 🙄 then I keep trying to do other edits and it’s like no you can’t do this because you don’t have pro😑😑😑I look at the pro stuff and I think it’s too expensive 💸. But other than all the stuff is super cool so you should get this!!! 🥳I think this game is really good and cool so get this but just so you know you might want to get pro if you don’t want if you want like microphone and music in your stop motion projects.

Love how user friendly LifeLapse has been to create stop motions videos. Super easy to figure out for a novice. And, a fun app for creatives. I watched some of their instructional videos and they were super helpful. Love that I can use a Bluetooth remote to take photos, so I can leave my phone on a tripod. Also love the added pay features to add music to my videos. The videos I’ve created with LifeLapse have helped with engagement on my social media pages. Would definitely recommend!

I absolutely love LifeLapse, I’ve had it for probably about 7 hours now I am obsessed!!
I have made at least 10 videos, there is no better app than LifeLapse! I am very pleased with what I got!!! There is one thing I would like to recommend, could you please let us at least have one free song, and not have to pay membership for sounds or songs?
But other than that is app is just what I was looking for, ands it’s very easy to use!

Best app I’ve ever purchased! Love this so much and highly recommend. OK but I do have a few suggestions. First off, maybe you could add a feature where you could and put music into your stop motion. Also great at by now best decision you will ever make!

As a content creator and social media managed, I had been looking for an easier way to create fun stop motions for clients without using photoshop. this app does just that! I can make an engaging stop motion from anywhere with my phone with the incredible features to edit the speed, colors, add music, and anything else you’d need. The team behind LifeLapse is dedicated to making the right changed and giving resources as tutorials for making new styles of video. A must have app on my phone at all time - couldn’t recommend enough!

I had an idea to make a stop motion video of the lego mosaic our school created. I had zero experience about how to make it, but in finding life lapse, their blog helped me figure out the right equipment needed for this large job, and LifeLapse was so easy, it took no time for me to be up and running! We were able to show the kids the reveal video to finally see what they made. Thank you for making an app so user friendly!

I really like LifeLapse, but I'm offended that in order to unlock unlimited projects, they demand not just a review, but a five-star one. I might have done that anyway, hard to say now.

Too bad the devs undermined the integrity of the review process bc they do have a good thing here. Unlock unlimited in exchange for *a* review or sell it for $, but coercion doesn't look good on you..

Update: got a nice response from the devs, it was meant to be either review OR pay for unlock. They are working to fix it. And it IS an awesome app.

Nothing worse then having a app developer that tries to make you pay for features that are already on your phone. Unless you pay for pro and this is not a one time fee, it’s annually. They blocked ability to use your wide angle and zoom lenses and lower your video resolution from 4k. Why? These are features that they themselves did not develop and are piggybacking off the phone. I could understand of they had value in providing really cool content that added great features to your phone. Not restrict what your phone already has. Scam. Ripoff.

Great app for flip books and other creative endeavors! I’m so happy I found LifeLapse. I started creating flip books a while back, and I was searching for an app that I could use to save them from by frame. This is exactly what I was looking for. After exploring LifeLapse, I’ve also been inspired to start making stop motion videos and other fun time lapses. I’m also considering buying a membership.

Was wanting to learn another cool way to do video & have had a blast with LifeLapse! It has awesome features like locking exposure & auto white balance, interval timer (easy to set with options up to 60 seconds), speed slider, boomerang, filters, etc. A small tripod is super helpful when shooting to ensure your frame doesn’t move. I also recommend following them on Instagram to learn cool tips & tricks!

I can't tell you how much I love LifeLapse. I went on a vacation with my partner and the the two of us wanted to document our experience. I took videos of them in front of the Taj Mahal, the Parthenon, the Berlin Wal, and countless others. LifeLapse blend all these SEAMLESSLY. I edit wedding photos for a living, and I was legitimately afraid LifeLapse my might put me out of business. You need to try it. Words honestly can't describe how awesome LifeLapse is.

Iz good it’s not great pretty good I really like it and thank you for making it free love the effect and the choice of music and its good for the type of intro that I want to use for my intro but the supplies should be a bit less expensive becasue right now I have to have my friend come over and hold the camera and I want to have a tripod but I can’t cuz it’s to expensive but otherwise great app thanks for making it👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼😀😀😀😄😄😃

LifeLapse is awesome. It allows you to create stop motions that would otherwise take hours in post production on your computer. I think the best part is that you can see the faint overlay of the photo before, so you can line up your subject and it doesn’t look jumpy. They also have an annual membership or cheaper monthly, which is nice! I’d definitely recommend!

I can I get this at five stars because it just does it right. The whole stop motion thing sometimes can get pretty trying constantly having to take pictures and it really never comes out like how you want it to look. But with LifeLapse I don’t know if it’s the way they capture the face before and the lashing out is what it is it’s just a great app I enjoy using it. Five ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
