Lapse - Take Together Reviews

I love the way the pictures come out on Lapse compared to others i’ve tried like dispo but the branding ruins all the pictures. I wish it was just something small in the corner or there was no branding at all! I also think it would be easier if you could select a roll to shoot to before taking the pictures so that you don’t have to choose where you’re saving it after every picture. Overall I love Lapse and it would be even better with these changes!

I think this is such a cool idea. Not really knowing what the picture will look like until it “develops”. A really cool idea. Also really cool to have a shared roll with friends! Some bugs with some invites so hopefully that gets fixed, but otherwise a really cool and fun app. Love the “analog” style. Part of the fun is waiting for the pics to develop and waiting to see how they’ll turn out, just like film photography.

I used to buy disposable cameras but they are so expensive it was hard to justify it. Even though it’s new and still working out some kinks, I tell all my friends about it. And I use it for everything. The accidental pictures are my favorite and I’ve even gotten a lot of them printed already ❤️

I really like the idea of having a disposable camera app. The filter is great. Wish there was an option to remove the watermark though when saving to camera roll. Also, wish the time was a bit shorter, maybe 5-10 hours. Not anything longer because after you’ve had a day out, you might want to post that same day rather than 24 hours later. Other than that, really cool app.

I really like this app. I can take mystery photos and my friends won’t even figure out what they are. There are some features that need improvement and some suggestions might be helpful, but other than that I love Lapse.

I love the concept of having to wait for your pictures to load in, but it is kind of hard to navigate. So I understand living more in the moment and capturing as is, we live in a world of editing and choosing the best pictures that we look best in, but the reality is that you always look good, so I really love the concept, just needs work.

Yeah, I’m gonna be real: I really wanted to like this app. I pre ordered it off tiktok when they first started advertising it, and I was SO excited. But honestly, I was using it for the waiting feature, not to be bullied into adding my contacts/have a “social experience” only to be given an ugly and non-removable watermark over my photos. As far as disposable camera apps go, this one is far at the bottom for me - try Dispo (if you like waiting) or Huji (if you don’t) as both of them are far superior.

I downloaded Lapse from TikTok and was super excited to use it, only to find out you need to wait over a day for one photo to form and you get a limit per day. See, I could deal with that. So I take my photos and wait for them to form, but when they do I’m met with a regular photo with a cheap filter you can find on Snapchat over it. If you’re downloading this for the memories feature , just get snapchat. At least you can choose if you want a trashy filter or not.

My friend came over and I had her take a few pics of me on this app and I waited the whole 24hrs for no pics to show up? This has happened twice now and it’s very irritating because I took the pic for a reason. Same as 2 days ago I took 2 pics of my friend and only 1 of them developed.

It’s giving tumblr and like vsco but better. It’s like if they had a evil twin cause Lapse is just genius & 10x better. I love it cause me and my friends love taking pics to remember memories from our nights. It’s just everything.

the amount of pictures i have of just awesome moments and the way Lapse self edits and has u wait 24 hours!!? it’s honestly like a little xmas present in the morning

really like taking pictures with Lapse! a lot of cute stuff comes out but i wish it had been kept to where everything actually develops at 9 am instead of developing a full 24 hours after the first picture of the roll is taken. it just takes sooo much longer and i miss when it didn’t take an entire day to see like 2 photos of a night out. there’s also the watermark that doesn’t go away and some other bugs but those will probably be fixed in the future

Lapse is a lot of fun, it’s not like the other ones where you could cheat in a way. You make groups and have conversations. Overall great app.

I like it a lot! I think the idea of waiting until 9am is pretty dope, I have other apps that do the same thing so it doesn’t really bother me. Only thing I think the watermark is too big and Lapse is a little hard to navigate.

I like the concept of Lapse , but I would rather not wait so long to get my pictures. If you want Lapse to get pictures that look like disposable photos, then I would recommend just editing them yourself. Maybe if my friend group was going out, and we all wanted to use the group thingy, then it would be fun?

I love the idea and the set up of Lapse.
However some of that pictures did not show in the end.

Really enjoy the concept, but I would like to see how large the group rolls can be. I was considering doing disposable cameras for my wedding but I’d be willing to pay money in order for my guests to to contribute their photos.

So upon discovery on TikTok, I was excited to “preorder”.

The idea behind it sounded amazing and the preview clips of what to expect from Lapse were crazy cool.

Lapse itself once downloaded was…meh.
It’s difficult to navigate. Confusing even, because there seems to be no smooth transitioning within Lapse features.
Not that eye catching.
I took five snaps.

And for some reason I cannot view them.
I cannot view them individually or as a this app.

I’m going to keep Lapse because it just launched and it’s in testing. So I’m hoping for better updates 🤞🏻

I love the idea of a camera in your phone! It doesn’t take up to much space so you can have memories and still have plenty storage. !!

Lapse is cool or whatever, the only thing is I don’t think anyone wants to wait 29 Hour’s for a picture to load and for you to see… also Lapse is a little difficult to navigate through not really sure what’s the purpose of it?

I’m very glad i’m one of the first to have Lapse . ITS AMAZING , details are so on point i love Lapse so much !

I was really happy to get Lapse, but when I downloaded it, I took a picture, and you have to wait for the picture to “form” which takes about a day. I will not be using Lapse.

i came from tiktok and i dont regret it, great performance, fast sign up, and i would definitely recommend Lapse to you!!

Not working

I was really excited about Lapse and saw it on TikTok. I preordered it to use it for homecoming and take pictures during the dance, Lapse came out Sep. 30th and my dance is Oct. 2nd, I had put in three different numbers as well to use in order to sign up and I did not get the code for any of them so I was not able to use Lapse , I’m really hoping it works before my dance, I even deleted it and re downloaded it, so far 2 stars. We’ll see what happens!

i think it’s a little ridiculous you have to wait 24 hours to see the pictures you took.
