I downloaded this to try out. All is shows is a buy tickets button. I have a pass, I thought it was more then a buy tickets app. I am not going to proceed to see it is is more, why when the first button is buy tickets. Not able to see anything else without creating some kind of account. I did not receive the pin texted to me either.

This is nothing more than a way to purchase tickets and even that is sub-par. With today’s technology, why do I have to save a credit card number to your system? Why can’t I just use Apple Pay to pay for a ticket?

Why can’t I get up-to-date, real-time schedules in UTAGoRide ? Why do I still have to go to the website and Twitter for info? I hate Twitter and don’t want it on my phone... yet I’m forced to use it if I want info on your scheduling delays. Get it together UTA! Utah deserves better for as much money as we funnel to you guys!

The description to UTAGoRide cracks me up, “you told us what could make UTA better. We listened.” UTA doesn’t listen, and I ride the train 5 days a week and this isn’t what people were asking for. UTA is greedy and doesn’t really care about their customers. All you did was make an app to take our money, not to provide any real services with the customer in mind. The people want the FrontRunner to show up on time, and not be late every single day. We want an app that provides accurate arrival/departure times not a lousy website. UTA is the WORST!

How is it that UTAGoRide itself doesn’t have a transit map anywhere in it? Seems like such a basic oversight. Not everybody knows what front runner is and what trax is and where they go, etc. also, the fare descriptions are cut off when buying a ticket. It will say like “no service on” and then just stop. No service on what??? Now I don’t know what I’m buying. UTAGoRide is probably ok for people who know what they are doing. Terrible experience for a first timer though.

So UTA has a “round trip” option if you buy tickets from the kiosk. But in UTAGoRide the only option is to buy a “one way” or a “day fare”. Guess what... the day fare is $1.25 more than the “round trip”. I know I can just buy 2 one way trips but I think it’s deceptive of UTA to not provide both options.

Also, I’m signing into an app and spending money. UTAGoRide ’s only allows for a 4 digit passcode. Why not let people do whatever password they want?

Also VoiceOver reads all the Picker Items as “text field”.

While I appreciate the option of buying a ticket online I think calling it “Go Ride” implies I’ll have access to features that make riding easier. Unfortunately, I can’t look at schedules without going to another app or the website. The other app is awful as it doesn’t give me the train times, just when I should leave to get to my destination. Not an actual schedule either. I love TRAX but UTA is waaaaay behind on app development. This one does not do what it should to make rider experiences better.

No Apple Pay support, no autofill for credit card info, and you can’t even paste your card number in if you’ve copied it from your wallet app. You also need to share your phone number. They seem to have gone out of their way to make it more difficult to pay.

UTAGoRide lacks a transit tracker, it is located in a different app that is littered with adds.

The only use UTAGoRide seems to have is you can pay a fare if you don’t have a transit card. If you do have a transit card, access to it does not appear to be present here and I need to go to my browser to get there...

I bought two tickets, one for a trip and another for a return trip. I clicked to only activate one ticket just before I got on the bus. However both tickets were activated. I now have to buy another ticket for the return trip this afternoon

I love UTAGoRide. I use it every day for my commute. It’s a simple and mostly painless app to use. There’s a few features that could be implemented to help UTAGoRide be even better. The ability to save frequently purchased tickets would be nice. That way, selecting which tickets you need could be faster/easier. Also, integrate a trip planner or at least a schedule and an alert for delays would be awesome. An ultimate level feature would be the ability to see the location of UTA vehicles on a map so you know how close they are. I know some of these are available via other apps and sites but having them all in one place would be fantastic.

Great app, but I think it would be really helpful to have an option in UTAGoRide to access both transit maps and transit schedules. It’s a little pointless to have an app only to pay and then have to visit the website to see schedules. It’s a good start though! Thanks for your efforts UTA.

Instead of having the various fare types under the “One Way” drop down, you should have them under the fare type drop down menu.
Just got harassed by UTA police for having TRAX tickets instead of Frontrunner. I’m a very advanced tech user, but UTAGoRide confused me.

Easy to use; very convenient to purchase tickets ahead of time. UTAGoRide worked perfectly for me.

Y'all should incentivize us to write reviews via free ski bus tickets.
Other than that improvement, UTAGoRide works like a charm and is very straightforward and understandable.

I can use my favorite UTA app for an emergency backup. UTA is my only safe mode of transportation I have to get around. I appreciate everything you are doing to help me. I enjoy riding trains and buses everywhere. I love everything and everyone at UTA. I enjoy hearing Christmas Music playing every time the Flex Bus doors open. I wish all of UTA transportation had that feature for everything. I always have fun with UTA. Thank you very much.

Finally! I can buy my ticket as I’m literally boarding the train car!!!!
No more freaking out at the teller machine, pushing buttons, wondering if I’ll miss the train.

What they really need is a Farepay App, so I don’t have to fumble around with their web interface to reload my Farepay Card.

I think UTAGoRide is fantastic! It’s so easy to use and I’m never worried about getting the ticket machine to work. It saved my card info so a ticket is never more than a few taps away.

Maybe I just can’t find it, but that’s just as bad if they’ve buried a feature where you can’t find it. I would love to be able to look at the front runner schedule through UTAGoRide so I can plan.

I love to ride the front runner when I go to Salt Lake every Tuesday, sometimes the front runner is 5 mins delayed and I miss the trax blue line and I’m late for 15 mins, I need to wait for the next trax to come.
The same when I come back, if the blue line is late for 5 mins, I miss the front runner and need to wait one hour or half hour for the next one. It is a good service, but most of the time is delayed and not on time.

App doesn’t label options to navigate easily for new users. Took longer than expected to figure out how to get to purchase different options of bus and then to find the front runner options..
