So I’ve noticed how much ATTPhotoStorage tracks you. The disguise it by saying, when your location has changed they will back up you’re photos, but why would they need to back up my photos which is already backed up. In my opinion it’s just away to get around Apple’s ATT. They disguise it by a setting called “backup on the Go” if it’s not turned on, every time you go ATTPhotoStorage , it will pop up for you turn it on. They give you no option to download over Wi-Fi. They make you turn on your location, and cellular. Or it will backup anything. I finally got ATTPhotoStorage to work once I did this. For 4 days it would not back up my photos. It said it was “back up in progress” but did not back up anything until I agreed to all there settings. Which is not right.

Got ATTPhotoStorage , love how it works BUT!!!!!!! Logged in on hubby’s phone with my AT&T account info. Doing so created a back up of my photos AND his photos in one place. We do not prefer this as we each have over 20,000 photos and we would each like our own backup. Tried to help through Pro Tech app as well as phone and no one can fix it. Yes, I have deleted ATTPhotoStorage , yes i have logged out and selected ‘sign up’ and entered new credentials. Error message tells me that an account cannot be set up because this device is already registeted to another customer account. FIX THIS PLEASE!!!!!!!!! I want what I am paying for with my Protect 4 insurance. FIX THIS PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! Five stars when it is fixed.

I uploaded around 3000 pics into a handful of new albums on ATTPhotoStorage and then deleted them from my iPhone’s photo app to free up some space on my phone. When I went back to upload more all 3000 were deleted from the cloud too. Can somebody explain to me the logic behind a photo cloud app, a service whose whole reason for existing is supposed to be as a standalone storage option, deleting your content? If Asurion wants to improve ATTPhotoStorage then 1. Ditch the requirement to auto backup. I pay for iCloud for a reason, I’m good. 2. Allow us to upload our pics to your service and then delete them from our phone’s storage so we can actually free up space instead of mirroring the device. I’m deleting ATTPhotoStorage and going to find another option because frankly this is just a very basic backup and I’m not even sure it’s actually backing up since it’s so eager to delete my content.

Shortly after downloading all my photos and videos started uploading and it was working great then after a few days it got stuck on the last few videos. Quickly did a recheck and sure enough I do qualify for the unlimited photo and video storage as ATTPhotoStorage clearly showed under settings. So after a few more days of ATTPhotoStorage being stuck and no longer uploading I tried numerous options including closing all apps, restarting phone, deleting and reinstalling ATTPhotoStorage but nothing works. So I did the smart thing and deleted the useless app and now my life is so much better now with all the time freed up from messing with this.

I gave up paying for my iTunes storage because I thought ATTPhotoStorage had promise. I’ve been using it for a few months now and he collects all your photos but good luck trying to access any of them… Unless you have all day to wait for it to load, and to be able to scroll through all the photos that are missing or whatever is going on with ATTPhotoStorage it’s just almost useless if you’re gonna offer people on your service away to store their photos at least Spend a dollar or two on development so that it works a little more seamlessly than this piece of crap that you’ve given us does I pay you hundred dollars a month for my service and you give me a piece of crap app like this thanks AT&T AT&T

ISSUE STILL NOT RESOLVED… I contacted them and they do not contact you back … they will only contact you on this review section… they make it look as it they are genuinely concerned and want to help… but they don’t. ZERO RESPONSE!! Afraid my photos are gone forever … incredible with the lack of accountability - like so many things right now - make promises that cannot be kept - they do whatever looks and sounds good and cannot deliver the final product knowing you do not have much clawback … it’s all so gross… Dear developer… why do you not respond to my EMAILS outlining the issue? Several have been sent … got nothing back from you!!!

I downloaded ATTPhotoStorage because it was advised by the AT&T rep. I had previously been using the Ever app to store my pictures - only annoying thing with that app is that you have to then email them to yourself if you want to retrieve them and it can only be done one by one. Anyway, this AT&T Photo Storage app has been a hit and miss - after a while I had to uninstall it and reinstall it for my pictures to start uploading to it again. My biggest issue with ATTPhotoStorage is that even though the pics are taken with high-resolution cameras, once they upload to ATTPhotoStorage they are super fuzzy! Being that this is an AT&T app you would think that it would be much more advanced. Also, live pictures do not save as live pictures, they just save as a blurry mess. I am very disappointed. Especially because a lot of those pictures I cannot get back in full resolution now. Ridiculous.

I got ATTPhotoStorage to try to help keep my photos stored in one place. The concert was great because I was changing phones and I love being able to keep it in the cloud. However, I’ve had so many issues trying to back up my pictures. Sometimes it won’t back up the pictures, sometimes it takes a long time. Sometimes I just get fed up.

I wish it worked as well as Google Photos, it doesn’t need all the features it just needs to be able to upload my pictures so I know that they are safe. Another issue I have is that I am not able to use it on my laptop.

We need a reliable desktop version so you can delete and get rid of things easier or not able to use your phone.

ATTPhotoStorage needs to be more consistent and reliable so it can my first choice for photo storage.

I got talked into getting ATTPhotoStorage from the AT&T store. Thanks for the 50 GB. But the reviews are crap. I live in breathe by reviews and stars. You are more tan billion dollar corporation get those little tech people that work under you to fix these issues so we can get your star rating up and we can get these negative comments from coming your way. No one wants to leave a bad comment unless it’s really affecting him. Do the math. I’m backing it up now but I’m debating whether to just cancel the back up altogether. If I’m trying to cancel the back up then there is a very good reason for it. Please fix these little quirks and I can guarantee the bad feedback. .., lastly there are many cloud apps aren’t good... and the only reason I chose guy who has I was talking to,’cjn

ATTPhotoStorage generally works well with little to no issues. However, I think it would be great if there was support for apple pro raw photo uploading. It was a little jarring seeing a majority of my photos not backing up initially. It would also be great to provide the option for the user to choose whether or not to allow the phone to keep backing up photos even with low battery. Overall, I am happy with the service. Yet, being able to share photos as a link would be incredibly useful and take full advantage of the apps storage capabilities. Seems a bit rudimentary trying to share photos from ATTPhotoStorage only to be restricted to a few at a time through traditional email.

My app had begun limiting my unlimited photo backup. I called tech support but they said they had no idea how to fix it. I then found an email feedback section under settings in ATTPhotoStorage and emailed the problem to that email. They promptly responded and were able to fix the problem. I’m also sharing the solution as this is sort of a hard root cause to find if user doesn’t realize the nature of the bug.

At some point after app updated, it changed my phone number in ATTPhotoStorage to another number thus, when tech support asked for my number I shared both #’s I found. They fixed the bad number in my account, I deleted app, restored and logged in and it was fixed.

What a wonderful product and applications I just uploaded all my photos and it’s already deleting duplicated and helping to clean and edit some of the photos! ATTPhotoStorage has unlimited storage, unbelievable and it came with my insurance package, which I would have still bought for my phone. I’ve been with AT&T since 2005, thank you for making my experience that much better!!!

I got a new phone a week ago and now I’m having a hard time logging into my account. I have tried to change my password but it will not allow the new password to go through. It says ATTPhotoStorage is having issues. All of my photos are on ATTPhotoStorage and I would like to be able to get them and storage my other photos. Please fix the issue, this is the first time I have had issues with it.

I am just getting used to ATTPhotoStorage, so I can't
Say if ATTPhotoStorage is good or bad, however my
experiences will AT&T ( 28 years) from first
apartment phone and to where we are today ...... AT&T is VERY popular in Northern CA. I feel strongly that the company will provide the excellent services I have always received from them.
They currently provide prompt and effective solutions to the technical problems I manage to get myself into, and they are patient & cheerful (I have PTBI ,
Dyslexia and PTSD))
My ONLY question is what to do with everything I stored "in the Cloud" since
That appears to do the same thing but charges when you use extra space ??????
HELP ????? HOPEFULLY 😗 please ?
By the way I am sure AT&T will fix any problems with the program, because

I was so excited to download my pictures, after I downloaded 50k from my phone and deleted all of them from ICloud I no longer have access to them since it takes hours to view any pictures stored. So bummed I need to plan for a 4 hour gap, to look at pictures from last year. And if they do end up loading, ATTPhotoStorage freezes. It’s such a frustrating time EVERY-TIME I log in.
UPDATE!!!!! After reaching out to customer service they where able to correct the issue, I am now able to view all of my 47k images at any moment. Very happy with it.

When I fist had ATTPhotoStorage before they did their update and ever since then ATTPhotoStorage does not work-I called AT&T and they couldn’t get it to work and had me delete and reinstall and still wont work-I have done that several times and it still tells me it can’t download anything-AT&T said it was on their end a month ago and would have it fixed but still not yet...

The AT&T storage makes me feel like I have a safety net that will always file and store for a later time of need or pictures!!! It is very user friendly but the work is almost done for you by grouping the items by similarity so you can go though those groupings and edit some more to save space!! This is a great service for someone like myself because I will not remember what I have saved in the past or already have a copy saved!!!

I really like having this back up for my photos as it allows me to keep everything separate from my phone manufacturer, Apple, & I also get more storage. In my Apple photos I just keep family photos, friends photos mostly. Once I know that the other things have been saved to ATT photos, then I delete them from phone memory. In my ATT photos I keep work related screen shots, copies of things I want to have access to, but not mixed into my family photos. I still edit both photo sites until I am 100% sure one or the other has my stuff somehow.

It’s amazing how I’ve come so far just from having a hobby to actually writing and making my own music. it’s fun give me something to do. during the pandemic, The hardest part of all our lives! But what I love the most is that I get to share it with Family and friends and lot of people I know. recording and editing it’s not that easy, of course that’s why my son JR my old boy, he’s behind all the music that’s been coming out of black room studios! not a lot! But well edited and recorded music. Of course just personal and hobby purposes only. And that makes me very happy!

I just started to use this, but, I’m hoping that it works well for me because I have ALOT of photos to download I don’t want to delete them! EVER! I love pictures and anyone who knows me knows that I have photos of everyone that I have ever met. I have at least 10,000 pictures in my phone and the worst part of it is that some of the pictures I have in my phone are doubles, sometimes they are triples!! Like I will be going through my pictures in my phone and I will screenshot a bunch to show, or, send to someone else and then I forget to delete them from my phone.

First, it took me just over a week to backup all of my content. I had just over 2000 pictures and videos. So, if you are doing a complete fresh backup, give yourself plenty of time.
Looking at my pictures, I agree they are now fuzzy when the originals were not. Also, the amount of time it takes to save a picture onto a new device is far too long. Fix these few issues and it could really turn ATTPhotoStorage around!

Doesn’t work, don’t be fooled with ATTPhotoStorage, if you have lots of pics,you won’t be able to access more than the last dozen that you took, always downloading, I transferred my photos in December, still downloading, I have 2300 pics going back 20 years, can’t transfer them back to my storage provided by my devices, my carrier is ATT, my devices are Apple, the oldest one is iPhone 7s. Looking to see if I can access my pics from the cloud, so I can put them back in my Apple storage and dump this garbage app

I have a lot of pictures going back to 2011. ATTPhotoStorage downloaded the most recent pictures from the last month or so, then just about a dozen random pictures from all the other. Another poor feature is you have to open ATTPhotoStorage for it to do a backup and you have to leave it open to ATTPhotoStorage for it to upload anything. Try to do something else, no uploads. Forget to open ATTPhotoStorage to upload, no backups. I rely on Microsoft OneDrive to do automatic backups. This one isn't worth what the service costs.

For much of the last year or so, have been trying to Login (known credentials) also with good credentials. Cannot get ATTPhotoStorage to work, so rather than wasting my time I upgraded to 2TB storage with Apple. On my iPhone X it was too quick and easy to make happen. There is something seriously wrong with ATTPhotoStorage, and this Certified Tech is NOT going to waste my time with it. Just downloaded the new version, but since the issue is outside of ATTPhotoStorage , I do not expect it to work.
Update: Confirmed that something inside AT&T is broken. ATTPhotoStorage still does not allow me to login or Register.

I actually had high hopes for ATTPhotoStorage, considering how awful the previous backup system worked. I thought to myself, okay, they’re designating an app of its own to handle the backups. Well, turns out this one is even worse. I’ve tried backing up 10+ times and I can’t get it to even move past 1%. Much less backing up all my photos. You guys really need to get this right. I’m quite sure many customers wouldn’t return if they lost all of their precious work and memories.

It’s not a bad app. I create lots of albums on my Iphone to make it easier to find my photos. So, I love the fact that it even saves the pictures in the format of the same albums I had created. But, here comes the critique: don’t know if I’m not using it right or what, but first it’s so slow, and on top of it, you have to let ATTPhotoStorage open all the time for it to work. That, in my opinion is not practical in a time, where people like to be switching from app to app.

Great App can’t complain about the layout and everything but like others when I first installed it it backed up 12k photos then stopped and had 300 left. So I gave it 3 weeks nothing so I deleted and reinstalled it. This time it uploaded 266 and left the rest pending. Smh. About to reinstall again and see what happens... wish me luck

I’m seventy-six years old and technologically illiterate, so I cannot tell you in technical terms why I have an issue with ATTPhotoStorage.
I just do not know if my pictures are really being backed up or not.
I gave it five stars because if it really is doing what it’s supposed to be doing, it deserves five stars.

This a great APP for free photo storage! The clarity is just as great as One Drive and there is no monthly charge for a large GB of photo storage. I have it for free since I have an AT&T account for my iPhone, U-Verse and my Internet services.
