Get Pricing Info for ATTI recently noticed that my recent photos were not backing up, on the AT&T photo app I went to my account to see if maybe my storage was full. In going there I noticed that my email address was wrong (there was 1 letter wrong in my last name), so I saw that in order to change my email I needed to contact ProTech, and I proceeded to click the available button to contact a rep, once I clicked the Accept button I received an error message that stated "they are working on the issue". I tried to use this method of contact for 2 days and no success, so I emailed them at least 3-4 times about the backup issue and my email...NEVER received a response..so I called. On 9/23 I spoke to one Protech rep who I told my issues, he advised to reset my Network Settings on my phone to see if this would help with the backup issue (this Tech also remoted into my phone to see what I was seeing) that did not work. The Tech then advised me to delete the app off of my phone and reinstall it, to which I asked him am I going to lose any of my over 4,000 photos that are already backed up, he said no they are in the AT&T cloud, so I did it. Once I reinstalled the app it asked me for my email address so that it can send me a code, to which I told the Tech, "the email that is on the account is wrong, so I won't get a code", the Tech then stated to log in with my correct email, I did and what did it do...it created a brand new account and only downloaded the pictures that were waiting to be backed up on the original account!!! I asked the Tech did he change my email on his side, in which he informed me he couldn't to that and he would need to transfer me, he had me on hold 20 min, never checked back in with me and from there I was transferred from department to department because I was continuously be transferred to incorrect areas. On 9/23 I spent over 2 hours on the phone with no resolution. I did end up speaking to a ProTech rep that was trying really hard to assist, she suggested that I create the incorrect email in Yahoo and have the code sent , which I did but I never received a code to the email from AT&T. Today 9/24, I called back again to ProTech, I talked to a rep explained the issue again for the 7th or 8th time, she too put me on hold for 40 min, before I called ProTech on another line , while still on the other line holding (I was on hold for over 1 hour, and the rep never transferred me and never came back on the line AGAIN!!!) the second Tech was very helpful and was on the phone with me for over an hour troubleshooting to the best she could before she had to get back in the queue because it was backing up (per her Supervisor/Manager) but she got me in touch with ATS (Advanced Technical Support) who advised me that they need to start a case with the Specialist Team and I "should be" contacted in 24-48 hrs, if they don't contact me she said here is the phone number to that area. I am beyond frustrated with AT&T, the customer service for the most part was HORRIBLE. Techs giving incorrect information ( I was told by several Techs that the original Tech should have never had me reinstall the app without updating my email address first!!) I have over 4000 MEMORIES FLOATING AROUND IN THE A&T CLOUD THAT I DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO NOW, CAN'T GET BACK AND NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW HOW TO LINK MY OLD INCORRECT EMAIL ACCOUNT TO MY NEW CORRECT ACCOUNT!!! SOMEONE BETTER FIX THIS OR I WILL BE LOOKING INTO LEGAL MATTERS.

No one will contact me after multiple attempts. If your a customer thinking about going with ATT ANYTHING phone, internet, tv ANYTHING at all, don't do it. I have had an ongoing issue for over 6 months and NO ONE NOT A SINGLE PERSON WILL HELP ME. Absolutely ridiculous. I have spent just about every other day for over six months on the phone and they transfer me to other people and recordings and hang up on me and not once have I been rude or used foul language. Next I will write the CEO about how incompetent his employees are.

I uploaded around 3000 pics into a handful of new albums on the app and then deleted them from my iPhone’s photo app to free up some space on my phone. When I went back to upload more all 3000 were deleted from the cloud too. Can somebody explain to me the logic behind a photo cloud app, a service whose whole reason for existing is supposed to be as a standalone storage option, deleting your content? If Asurion wants to improve the app then 1. Ditch the requirement to auto backup. I pay for iCloud for a reason, I’m good. 2. Allow us to upload our pics to your service and then delete them from our phone’s storage so we can actually free up space instead of mirroring the device. I’m deleting the app and going to find another option because frankly this is just a very basic backup and I’m not even sure it’s actually backing up since it’s so eager to delete my content.

So I’ve noticed how much this app tracks you. The disguise it by saying, when your location has changed they will back up you’re photos, but why would they need to back up my photos which is already backed up. In my opinion it’s just away to get around Apple’s ATT. They disguise it by a setting called “backup on the Go” if it’s not turned on, every time you go the app, it will pop up for you turn it on. They give you no option to download over Wi-Fi. They make you turn on your location, and cellular. Or it will backup anything. I finally got the app to work once I did this. For 4 days it would not back up my photos. It said it was “back up in progress” but did not back up anything until I agreed to all there settings. Which is not right.

I gave up paying for my iTunes storage because I thought this app had promise. I’ve been using it for a few months now and he collects all your photos but good luck trying to access any of them… Unless you have all day to wait for it to load, and to be able to scroll through all the photos that are missing or whatever is going on with this app it’s just almost useless if you’re gonna offer people on your service away to store their photos at least Spend a dollar or two on development so that it works a little more seamlessly than this piece of crap that you’ve given us does I pay you hundred dollars a month for my service and you give me a piece of crap app like this thanks AT&T AT&T
