Thank you for making BVGTickets! It’s brilliant. No more wandering Berlin every time I get here trying to figure out where to buy a monthly card.

I gotta say, why BVGTickets doesn't always work? When I try to checkout with apple pay it rakes forever and it mostly fails saying: "well the transaction might have gone through, check your tickets". That's the most unscientific app I've ever witness.

BVGTickets gets the job done. I use it to purchase my tickets. Even when I don’t have service. Ex: I purchased a monthly ticket and I didn’t have service on my phone while traveling on the train. I got on one of the carts and they happened to be searching for people who doesn’t have a pass. I didn’t know if it was going to work.- Let me tell you. It worked because I didn’t get fined. Also, If you buy a monthly there’s a clock on it and it still runs without service. So, this was exactly wat I needed when traveling.

A bit shocked this is a public transport agency that has a ticket platform that doesn’t work. Apple Pay should be seamless. “Digitalisierung“ is not exempt from BVG.

Will preface by saying this worked in previous years and has been buggy for a long time.

Conceptually ok but the ticket purchasing flow is way to slow and unreliable with frequent failures. Also the multiple “are you sure you want to buy this” prompts are annoying.

Latest update made an app unusable - it requires many retries to even get to the payment step (Apple Pay) and then one more minute to get tickets after payment authorization. Lucky if internet connection is stable during this time.

BVGTickets is slow and buggy. The 1 min download is absurd considering poor cell coverage on U-bahns.

When it works, it’s great. However 3 or 4 times when I went to get a ticket from my four bundle, it said there was an error. Very frustrating!

I would really like to use BVGTickets but there is only an option for the AB pass and I need the ABC

After having issues with different app I decided to give a try and get another with better ratings. BVGTickets will help you if you are already in Berlin and your phone privacy settings are set to minimum. I tried to book 2 tickets, I’m son traveling to Berlin and tried to get to train as soon I arrive. I wanted to book Single Berlin ABC ticket, still I was asked to enter starting station, unfortunately BVGTickets doesn’t allow to type the station you must know Berlin well to know where the airport is and click on the map. Since I need ticket in few hours, I tried to adjust departure time unfortunately this is not allowed. Hopefully Berlin station are still equipped with working ticket machines or counters where tickets can be bought without hassle.

BVGTickets makes getting around Berlin so easy. The functionality is sophisticated- BVGTickets suggests your local stop when you only need a single ride and with one click your off. My first purchase I made an error and purchased my ticket too far in advance and the customer service team refunded my ticket with no fuss. Excellent user experience!

Really like BVGTickets , and the convenience. But there’s definitely one feature that BVGTickets is lacking; Notifications.

I would love to be able to receive a notification one day before my monthly ticket arrives. Without notifications its quite easy to forget when your need to renew/purchase a new ticket. That’s my only major gripe.

Also a watch app would be really appreciated 😬

BVGTickets is ok. You can get your tickets which is great but not rocket science. What bothers me to no end is that as of a recent update, I literally have to accept the T&C like EVERY TIME! Maybe instead of making those cutesy but slow loading graphics, the developers could read up on core data or other means of persistence so that users don’t have to do the same thing every time they buy a single ticket? Someone’s definitely very much asleep at the wheel here ... 😴

Beautiful design, but at least half of the time that I try to buy/activate a ticket, the nearby stops list on the “start location” selection screen never populates, and a search returns no results, despite the map loading correctly. This makes BVGTickets highly unreliable to actually use.

Problem still persists as of September 2019.

BVGTickets has been displaying timeout requests for the last 3 weeks. The basic functionality of buying any type of ticket no longer works. How has this problem been happening for so long and no one resolved it?!

I have quit and restarted several times, each time there is an error. It is really annoying at this point...

Can’t register account (had to visit website to register, which worked). Can’t login once registered—just get “no internet connection” error over and over again despite internet working for all other apps. And lastly, can’t select station. Map appears but no stations populate. What a waste of time. Catch up, BVG. An embarrassment for the city.

On installing the application, after selecting either to allow or not tracking (either option leads to same end result), the application crashes and never recovers no matter how many time one tries to re-launch BVGTickets .

iOS version: 14.5.1

I bought 4-rides ticket and used one. Other 3 rides are not available. The email function in help section is not working. BVGTickets looks like a scam. Please fix the bug or refund the purchase.

P.S. I know professionals who can fix it quickly.

BVGTickets works and looks great. The only feature missing is an Apple Watch companion app. It will make commuting in Berlin even easier!

I cannot use the second ticket of a 4 trip ticket.

When I try to activate one of the remaining tickets, the location won’t fetch any stations.

However single ticket purchases work fine.

No wonder BVGTickets is poorly rated. It won’t let me verify my registration after getting an email. A nicely design app that doesn’t work is still a WORTHLESS app.

I am logged in, but not seeing tickets already purchased in my account.

Idea is good. But I never know what to expect at each step in BVGTickets

Wouldn’t accept American Express or MasterCard
