OC Bus Mobile Ticketing Reviews

OCBus is the best! No longer do I have to find a location to buy a bus pass. Discounts are always awesome too. I’m also very thankful that if my phone service is off due to not being able to afford to pay the bill at the time I can still access my bus pass. That was one thing that I was worried would happen and so glad it doesn’t. Thank you for making life so much easier!

I tried paying a fare with one card and got rejected and tried another one but I have to constantly refresh OCBus because it won’t take the second card. I don’t understand how it knows the first card has low funds but the second card it immediately rejects without checking.

It took a lot of my brother's time to log in and apply his credit card, while his internet was normal and idk why it wasnt working anymore. Even though he deleted OCBus and reloaded, but things are still not very positive, he had to wait for very long time !

It is so easy to use. One thing I have to comment is that I can't use the mobile validator. Every time I open it, OCBus crashes. I hope since it is brand new that the glitch will be fixed. I am looking forward to using it.

OCBus is very convenient. The only problem I have with it is that I get on one bus and get off at my stop and then when I get on another bus it turns red on the screen and says “recently used” which is annoying because then I have to pay for a one way. It only does this sometimes which is frustrating.

Bus drivers are extremely rude. My daughter was running after the bus and the bus drivers clearly saw her running and they left. The departure said 7:30 and the bus got there at 7:25. My daughter has asthma and was running to the bus for her doctors appointment. Very disappointed that something people aren’t given what they deserve for what they paid for. It happens to multiple people. Then if you miss a bus you have to wait another 15 minutes. Doesn’t sound like a lot but when you have somewhere to go to it is way too long.

It would be helpful to also have a map available on OCBus with routes (pdf downloads available as well),
for when phones are out of service area, and/or on airplane mode.

Offline mode?

Lately I’ve noticed the bus arrival times can be off and sometimes I miss the buss because the time changes again. I have to constantly refresh OCBus to make sure I’m gonna make it in time. Other than that it’s great. I like that you can buy tickets through OCBus and locate ur bus stops.

OCBus should have a broader amount of tickets . It should have 7,14, maybe 3 months pass the savings should grow bigger with the longer passes . Like it does with the month one . Maybe 3 months should be 150 . The bus is a slow moving and very un frequent way to commute the amount skmeone pays should reflect that

It used to work properly. I liked OCBus . But now it sells me tickets that are not accepted by scanners in buses. Once I paid twice for one ride because of that. Other times my ticket was not accepted bus drivers let me get on their buses despite tickets was anaccepted.

It is so much easier to use and I like that I don’t have to manage my credit card anymore, using Apple Pay is so simple.

A little slower than before and having me to put a password every single time is getting annoying. I wish you could have a 4 digit pin instead

I’ve been using this application for years. It’s very convenient and reliable. Highly recommend!

I bought a ticket and it didn’t show up. Bought it from the website then relaunched OCBus . Didn’t show up. Signed out and signed back in, it shows up but only has visual elements and no text. Hopefully there’s a fix soon because otherwise I rely on OCBus for commute to and from work.

I love OCBus, but I wish there was a little more detail about the tickets, especially the OC express ones.
