Had two devices I purchased through NEST- worked fine. Bought this last one directly from this app and it’s a useless piece of plastic. It will not connect to Pura . Tried for over an hour and went through every troubleshooting technique there is. Emailed customer service and basically got “it’s not you it’s us”. They are claiming it’s a backend software issue and I should just be patient for 24-48 hours. Scratching my head at how this is the case when I have two other devices that connect just fine. Clearly the productive is defective but no hope of a refund. If I don’t get a working device in 48 hours I will work through Amex to get money back and label this company as bogus. Too bad- looks like it could have been a great product but lack of reliability and failure to make it right and support the “30 day guarantee” on the box has scam written all over it.

Sent this after numerous requests for help... “ I have a new device coming. If it fails to last very long like my current one, then I’m done. That said, your customer service is horrific. My existing device hasn’t worked for 10 days. I reached out, didn’t get a response til the end of your work day and of course, had to wait another day for my response to be viewed. I performed the steps as I was instructed and let customer service know that none worked; then absolutely received no other help. I went to my app to pause a fragrance and my fragrances had disappeared. Pura was requiring me to connect my device, which now it doesn’t recognize. I took pictures of each step, as well as my WiFi connection so your rep could see that was not the issue. I just gave one of these as a gift. I hope my friend doesn’t have any problems, as help is minimal and communications just drop off. I even received an email indicating the ticket was closed. There is a breakdown between your automated responses and your staff that responds. It’s ridiculous how many automated emails you get. Once a ticket is open, the customer should have only emails from the support staff member who initially responded.”

If I could give this device zero stars I would. I’ve had both of my devices for couple months. Had a couple issues over those months, but managed to figure them out. Then today out of blue both stop working within hours of each other. First I thought it was my Internet since first device said offline. So went through all steps even connecting to Internet which is working. Only to have it get to updating stage at end and white light never comes on and still says offline. Then I go check my other device and it’s offline too and light is now off. Sick of this. Asking for refund and I’ll go buy bath and body works plug in refills. It did smell nice when it worked. My advice invent a plug in that will disperse fragrance as well as a this app, but doesn’t rely on WiFi. I couldn’t careless about having it on a schedule.

I’m beginning to hate this app. I purchased 2 devices, and a bunch of scents and they both worked great…at least for a month. So I purchased 2 more devices and more fragrances and now 1 of my original devices won’t stay connected to the internet, even though everything else in the house is working on the internet. I go through the troubleshooting steps, it connects, is green and then 5 seconds later it turns red with message “not connected to internet”. This happened 4 times. My second device is also a red glowing color, but it is saying it’s connected to the internet so I don’t want to mess with it. I can smell the scent on that second device so I assume it’s good. I just don’t really understand all the colors, flashing, non-flashing, and what they mean. I did send a message asking for help so we’ll see.
We ordered two plug-in units. Both arrived in very nice boxes and well packaged. The actual setup was slightly different then the enclosed instructions but was straight forward enough. One unit works well as expected the second is intermittent at best. Shows offline and then back online. We followed the trouble shooting guide with no luck. Contacted customer support and received a response within 24 hours however was basically told to just leave the unit plugged in and it would resolve itself...... it did not. We have had three or four engagements with customer service. Each concluding with a reply from them saying that our issues had been resolved. It has not! As of today we have one unit that works and one that does not. Even though according to customer service it has been resolved. I would not recommend this product. .

This device is heavy to hang in an outlet. The plug is hard plastic, doesn’t fit well. My app, plus registered account disappeared! Why? Plus I was put on auto ship somehow. I don’t trust businesses that do this. I don’t think I authorized that but my app and account disappeared so I can’t check. I have bought these for gifts however even though the fit is troublesome because it worked ok not great and thought it was an interesting gift. But with them setting me up with auto ship and my app disappearing meaning I have to set up another account, why? With password etc which may not actually be linked to the charge they just made, I cancelled and won’t use again unless I go through Caswell Massey which sells fragrances. Also should be noted I wrote them when I received notice I was being shipped out a product and received no reply from them.

I really like the concept of this app. I’ve used this app for about a year and it’s awesome. However, I think I’m getting locked into a price because that’s what I’m told, but the pricing changes every month. I was told I could have a discount locked in because I was on their original pricing before the changes. I also only get the this app scents, because the other ones are too expensive. Some months I’m charged for shipping, some months I’m not. Sometimes I get a discount, sometimes I don’t. Its just really complicated and I’d like for it to be a little more organized and consistent when it comes to pricing.
Also, Pura is helpful, but there’s no “back” button when you’re trying to navigate. I was swapping out a subscription and wanted to read about some scents first, and I kept having to exit out of Pura and get back in and start over because you can’t just push “back”.
Overall this app really is an awesome concept. I like the convenience of controlling it by my phone, and they have really unique scents.
Just a couple of adjustments: 1. Make the pricing consistent and make sure the original people would be locked in on the old pricing plan every month without me having to reach out for a special code-because that’s what we were told. 2. Make Pura easier to navigate to go back and forth when swapping out scents.

If you read the reviews you will quickly find out that this app struggles with getting Pura correct. I too experienced the random night lights turning on when they are set to remain off, the “low fragrance” alert despite having just placed new bottles in a days ago and the inability of Pura to switch back-and-forth between two fragrances. These are simple things that should be fixed with software updates however they have remained in the last three app version updates. They either don’t care or can’t fix the issue. I have tried their app technical support and everything they have suggested has failed to work. The most frustrating thing is the fact that Pura is designed to monitor two separate fragrances and it should be able to switch back-and-forth at intervals but it’s simply can’t do that and they have yet to fix it.
Scheduling bugs

With the most recent update, it has been difficult to make schedules and I often get errors saying they are conflicting when scheduling a scent for overnight and another one for daytime. When I do finally get them to work, I can’t even adjust intensity or light settings without the same error message even though the schedule wasn’t adjusted.
It would also be nice if I could browse scents under the “swap” button on the delivery tab with more filters and search features. Don’t know why that’s not an option.
Still, 3 stars due to the fact there are still some great features like away mode and the infinite options for nightlight settings. A pulse mode/ cycling colors would be a nice touch though ;)
I love the idea of this and I love the scents that this app sells. My only issue is when I first purchased this I set schedules for my fragrances and they seemed to start randomly or be on much longer than I scheduled. Then I decided to take the schedules off and I would manually decide when to put the scents on but even without scheduling they will randomly start emitting fragrance. Tried one more time setting a schedule and it just won’t stick to the times I set to be diffused. Very frustrating because I feel like I just constantly check Pura to know when it’s running and I don’t have the time for that, and they end up running all day when I’m at work, making me go through vials so fast :(((

I am a huge this app fan. I’ve subscribed for over a year. I have 3 units that fragrance my entire house. Better than any candle, spray, or melt I’ve ever tried. And the selection of scents can’t be beat. That being said, I am constantly, like weekly, having issues with the devices logging off or losing network connection. I couldn’t count the times I’ve had to re-add them on Pura , which is no quick task. Then I have to rescan the scents, which resets the fragrance level to high, losing all previously logged scent hours. I now have to frequently remove them, shake them, and hope that gives me a rough idea of how much longer they have. My other issue is that my monthly subscription often comes in multiple packages, at various times. Makes it impossible to do a housewide refill when I don’t know the scent levels. Ugh. Such an amazing product but so many kinks!

I’ve have been using this app for about a month. So far I have to admit, it definitely elevates the experience of being home. I love the smell of high-end candles but I don’t like having candles lit in the house, I also don’t like candle soot, and honestly I forget to like them. this app offers beautiful high end scents, many of which are partnerships with candle companies. I also love their return and exchange policy if you do not like the scents, and have used it. Now for the drawbacks. Some of the scents sell out and take a while to receive, which can be disappointing, that is why I only gave four stars . I am hoping that their production will increase as time goes on so this may not be a problem in the future. They are also expensive when you compare them to products such as glade but I don’t believe they are in the same class as Glade. Many high-end candles cost 30 or $40 so in comparison these are cheaper. I would say these are more of a luxury brand and make me feel a bit fancy. I am easily offended by strong scents and I like how you can adjust the power level of the scent. I have also bought one as a housewarming gift. They have definitely become a necessity in my home. I highly recommend!

Love these last long but you could alarm on Pura that it’s almost empty. When it is instead you have to delete entire App reset scan again it’s already a pain that you cannot overlap an existing schedule oops! If I wanna put 2 schedules in the same dispenser and one is 8 am to 3 pm god forbid this app ! No!! This overlaps you’re existing? How’s that when the other scent is 3:30 To 8 pm Best thing to do with a second or third device is Copy Schedules! As Far as the delivery Fast Clean and Safe. The Bamboo scent is amazing and the Rose in my sunroom? Getting mega compliments. I have cats and a dog and this is definitely helping in the summer and in quarentine not being able to obtain freshness cleaners constantly as before. Limited to naturally now and with Pura you get a constant fragrance of clean with linens and specific oceans. So you can use healthy cleaners and get a fresh scent from this app.

We have had our this app devices in our home and business since September and we absolutely love them! I am grateful for all the work and care they have put into their devices & fragrances. You can tell they have put a lot of work in their app and it is very user friendly. The schedule feature is really nice. I love the FAQ and that I can manage my subscriptions from Pura as well. All of the fragrances we have received so far smell wonderful and I am loving the holiday one currently! Their customer service is excellent and very prompt! Emails with Gil were very helpful and appreciated! I am grateful for a company who values their customers and provides 5 star products! Thanks this app!
I have always been big on home scents. I had a plug in for every room and a candle going every day. I came across this app at a local exposition and was sold! Not only do they care for you as a customer, their product is incredible. I have peace of mind knowing all of the security features they’ve included that keep the unit from overheating. It addresses the psychology of scent giving you the ability to switch between scents and “keeping your brain on its toes”. I love being able to set a schedule so I am not wasting the scents. Lastly, they smell incredible! I have tried 5 or 6 of their scents and they have all been divine. It truly does not get more convenient to create and control the scents in your home. Customer for life!
Great scents, tech side of things is a hot mess

I’ve had this product for 6 months with 3 different devices. It’s worked ok for a while, but for the last few months I’ve just sort of given up. Support was sort of helpful in telling me ambient mode doesn’t really work, so I just left that off, but now the devices don’t stay connected and you can’t change the color, they are just stuck on blue. I can’t change scents, nor does Pura respond to commands at all. Pretty much worthless and way overpriced that I’ve reset to factory settings and done endless troubleshooting on. Way too much trouble than it is worth. I’ll just go back to spraying essential oils in the room instead.

I have now 4 of the this app devices throughout my home. I’m very sensitive to scents and odors and I have sports asthma. With that, a little fragrance goes a long way. I can pause each device in my home from the touch of my phone. I’m able to keep my home areas lightly fragrant and this helps my sensitive nose, throat and lungs. I like the variety I fragrances offered by this app and since a very little goes along way, I put them on 1 for a short while before pause. This is more than enough to scent my home and chosen rooms. Keep in mind that you can limit how much each device emits simply by arranging the scent jumped and for people like myself pause device till a day or two later.
You won’t ever buy anything else!

I tried this app initially after seeing it at a parade of homes and I’m so grateful I did! Believe me when I say I’ve tried everything on the market to fragrance my home, and nothing compares to this app! This device is genius! Setup your own schedule, choose the fragrance intensity, pick your night light color and bam! It’s so simple! Plus, the scents are like nothing you’ve ever smelled... so real and nothing artificial. I’m a chronic migraine sufferer, so being able to control the intensity of the scent, plus having all natural scents is a win-win for me! Everything else I’ve tried just gave me a headache! Plus I love being able to turn my devices on from anywhere I am! Don’t wait on getting one of ten of these... you’ll be glad you did!!! So worth it, and they’re totally affordable!!!!

This system is SO MUCH BETTER than using Glade plug-ins or similar cheap scenting plug-ins. The scents (and there are hundreds available) are sophisticated and don’t make your room smell like a gas station bathroom. The device works great. You control it from an app, which also works well. Yes, this system is a little more expensive than scents you buy in the supermarket, but it is well worth it! My only complaint: there’s no easy way to contact the company if something goes wrong with the device or (as in my case) they send you the wrong scents.
I am so disappointed in the customer service of this company. For days last week, my device was constantly showing offline. I reached out to their customer service and got a generic answer. I’ve been trying to swap out a scent for almost 2 weeks on their app and it doesn’t work. I emailed customer service regarding my issues with swapping my scent, instead of receiving help, I received an email that said my issue had been started in another conversation and my current conversation would be moved there and continued. Silence, no continuing of the conversation and still no help. In the meantime, I was charged again for the scent I've been trying to swap out. Emailed again this morning - no answer once again. I will be cancelling my subscription and tossing this product in the trash.
Horrible connectivity

I have 3 of these and had nothing but problems with this plastic garbage scents devices. If you can get them to stay connected to wifi you might be able to continue setting them up. 1 of mine works great with wifi and messes up with scheduling and the light. The other 2 don’t ever keep connectivity and even with multiple factory resets as well as 8 “yes I said 8 different wifi networks” the others will go green saying they connected but when you go to Pura they just say they are not connected. Without the wifi you cannot manage them, why the hell even bother putting Bluetooth on them if it’s only used to set wifi settings???? Stupid development decision and Chinese built garbage built by the lowest bidder obviously with hardware and software.

I would like to restore some of the previous versions of Pura because they allowed me to not use the nightlight. I like sleeping in the dark and also like having a this app in the attached bathroom, but with the most recent update, the nightlight comes on every time the scent comes on whether it’s a scheduled ON or not. You gotta fix this. I didn’t buy it for the nightlight I bought it for the fragrances!
That said, the last two updates have rendered the schedules absolutely useless. It comes on when it feels like it and never turns off. Between that and the nightlights I’m ready to give up on the FOUR units that I have that were working perfectly three months ago.

I bought one device for my living room/entryway. I have a small home 1100 sqft. It sucked for that purpose. I was really disappointed because it’s a great idea. No matter how many hours I left it on or the intensity, you could only smell it if you stood two feet away from it. I have a small home! I’m not expecting it to smell the whole house up, BUT it should of made my living room smell good. Nada. :( I moved it in my room and it seems to be doing just fine. If you’re getting it for individual rooms the device/cartridge works well.
Pura has some bugs that still need to get worked out. I have only had this for 6 weeks and I’ve had to factory reset the device and I will manually delete “schedule” and then when I re-open Pura there they are. It’s very frustrating.

I paid for 2 of these devices and they have not worked since the day I got them (it’s now been months). The scheduling feature seems to never work. I constantly will open Pura off-schedule and the thing is on. If the scheduling feature does not work then there is zero reason to have these. They are also always super hot. Currently mine is not on but the device is so hot it’s releasing scents even when it’s supposed to be “off”. Don’t get me started on the night light - which has a mind of its own even when I’ve set it to off about 17 times. I like the scents but this has been a ridiculously frustrating first 2 or 3 months with the device.
working good since the recent updates. happy about the night light concept especially working and staying consistently on. I only tested 2 scents so far. maybe it’s just me but i feel like after 2 weeks I had to bump up the scent number to keep it coming out stronger. like i feel when they were new, i could get away with level 3-4 in my small bathroom. now certain schedules I bump up scent to 8-10 to get it to smell strong enough. we will see how future scents go.
also wish you can save schedules and copy/paste them. so time consuming when you want to conserve certain times. and have so many schedules set up.

I am enjoying using this app. Setup was very easy and even on the lowest strength, the scent fills my apartment. However I can’t say the same about Pura . When shopping there is no way to go back to the product listings page so I have to go back to the menu, click shop, and start again. After three times of this I’ve lost patience. I can’t understand how your developers could miss this very needed and basic functionality. If there is a back arrow or button it’s not noticeable. Please improve the UX of Pura so it matches the UX of the product setup.

My Daughter gave me this product for Mother’s Day and I absolutely love it! I had used Bath & Body Works plug ins for many years and this product wins hands down! I can control when and how much fragrance I want in my rooms. It is consistent and there is never a time when it stops working like the ones I used previously. I love the scents I have tried so far, they are rich and beautiful. I can control the throw to what suites me all from an app on my phone. Ingenious product, I am obsessed!

I absolutely live this device! I’ve been waiting for an air freshener devoid of the nasties and here it is! I’ve tried vanilla chiffon, apple orchard, linens and surf and yuzu citron fragrances. Love them all but my favorite is probably apple orchard! I bought one device for my open space downstairs and another for the bonus room upstairs, which also has the cat litter box in it. It’s perfect! Considering getting one for hubby’s office and one for the boys bathroom. I use the scheduler for the device downstairs, it’s awesome! Totally recommend!

I have one diffuser that works as promised. However, I had one that would not connect so I purchased another thinking I just had a bad diffuser. Now the new one will not stay connected. I’ve tried it in multiple locations in my house. I refuse to waste my money again. It’s a great concept but not a high quality dependable product.

I waited and waited for the second device to come. I made the mistake of ordering enough scents for both devices at that time. Had to wait for the device to be shipped along with all fragrances instead of mailing fragrances first. Needless to say, I went without fragrance in my original device while waiting for 2nd one to ship.
Now it is here but 2nd device will not connect to wi-fi. I’ve done all the tricks, resets, reinstalls and nothing works. First one works ok now but the schedule has a mind of its own now.
I have guests coming at the end of the week…which is why I bought these, I’ve got hundreds of dollars into the two of them with the scents and it was a waste of money.
