I pasted my url and signed in but it takes me to the web. I click on the “open app” link but it doesnt work. I dont know what the problem is? I need help

oldOpenLMS is even worse than my last app for classes. oldOpenLMS doesn’t even load as an app. It works as a search engine essentially AND is constantly crashing. Every time I try to go into oldOpenLMS to use Moodle, I have to type in my schools Moodle url, and then sign in. It always pops up with a loading error. This is very frustrating as I can’t access it from oldOpenLMS and might as well just look at the mobile website from chrome.

Unable to open on apple device. I have to use my android cellphone. It keeps giving me an error on my iPad. I liked noodle better.

This company has used the absolute lowest forms of technology in the world. They obviously do not care about the ease of oldOpenLMS for children. This is an education format. Shame on you for not going above and beyond to help the education go the future. It makes me wonder if they have kids who would end up using this sinful application. If I could take away the last star you guys clearly don’t deserve, I would.

I can’t open any files on the iPad app. I have to either download them on my iPhone and airdrop them, or download on my laptop and do the same. The iPad app is the only one not functioning as it should. Very frustrating.

I was super excited to use the Moodle app with my iPad. After only a week of enjoying the seamless user flow between the Moodle app and GoodNotes 5, this daily joy was cruelly ripped away from me. I was forced to transition to this inferior app that won’t even open on my iPad.

The update hasn’t fixed anything. oldOpenLMS won’t take me past the log in screen. Awful, wish the old moodle app still worked

It’s a real shame. oldOpenLMS still shows course material but you can’t open any assignments :/ sort of defeats the purpose of a mobile app....

oldOpenLMS now works just fine, and it works exactly like Moodle, looks the same and everything, only a different color for the interface :) Thank you to the people who got it up and running!

I’m seeing a lot of negative reviews from folks who don’t seem to realize their Moodle site needs to be configured to use a mobile app before one will work. We opted to use this version since the Moodle HQ mobile app charges for several features in their app that are free in this one (unlimited downloads, unlimited notifications, etc). To use it you need an administrator to configure your site for it. Otherwise, like the Moodle HQ version, it won’t work. The fact that this is available for free is mind-boggling.

The OpenLMS app is fantastic. I am suspicious of other reviews here saying items can’t be opened on Apple devices. I use oldOpenLMS every single day from both an iPhone and an iPad and have all the functionality I have from web access. Things I do regularly: post to forums, submit assignments, download and upload files, mark attendance, complete feedback, take quizzes and message other users. Not to mention, app users can download as much course content as they wish to their device. This is critical for my students who do not have reliable internet at home. Students can work offline and upload their work when back on wifi.

I’m not sure why the low reviews on oldOpenLMS . This is the same app as the Moodle app just different branding and colors. I have had zero issues.

I’ve been very impressed with oldOpenLMS. All of my course materials and files are accessible and it’s easy to navigate through them. I can use oldOpenLMS to message and receive notifications. No complaints from me!

If I could give oldOpenLMS more than 5 stars, I would. I can EASILY access all of my course materials, files and is INCREDIBLY user friendly! Another HUGE plus is the messaging and notifications. Open LMS is nothing less than perfect.
