I bought these for a hundred bucks just a year ago....4 cameras. Two bases. They knew then they were going to end the service yet got all us suckers to purchase their fi al inventory! What a dirty thing to do! And Amazon was right there with them! What an utter fraudulent shame!

I received a similar email from vava support stating they will no longer support the security cameras. I'm guessing they don't want to support the servers required to operate all the cameras. It costs money.that being said I have already reached mine with arlo pro 5 cameras. I threw away 9 vava cameras and 3 base stations.

Worked fine for a year all of a sudden no notifications and software will not log int base station gives message check my network conection. Reset base station MANY time wont log on to my networ just alway ge flashing red light. Emailed support few weeks ago and after a few days the emailed me back and said try it now and it began working again for 13 days and now its out again same symptons base will not conect to network. Sometimes it will conect to internet and get white light for a few minutes then goes back to blinking red again.

I called today and they told me that they have no plans to support the App and that the only way we can see what was going on is to pull the SD card and put it in a computer and see the recorded videos. I told the guy, so if someone comes and break into y house or kill someone in my house I will only find out about it after I come home eight hours later? Also, how can anyone know if the camera battery is still charged or needs to be charged. He tried to offer me a 10 or 20% refund. I told him I decline the offer and will work with others on finding a way to file a class action law suit. If anyone on this board is a lawyer, please file a law suit on behalf of all of us who were cheated by this company. On my end, I am going to make sure this is known all over facebook and twiter so that this scam business goes down. 8 Cameras, 4 Bases.

VAVA system started working this morning. Home Base unit needed to be reset and software updated. All 3 of my cameras paired successfully with Base Unit. And email notifications are processing when activities are recorded.

I had VAVA home security for 2 years all of suddenly I was logged out from the app I call Customer service they told me that they removed VaVa app from Google play store and just told me to wait I waited three days still no camera working these cameras are too expensive not to be working I'm getting the ring bad business

So I have used these cameras for over 4 years and I randomly get signed out and notice I wasn't getting notifications, I tried to sign back in and it won't let me no matter what I do. The app isn't even in the play store to reinstall and I'm pretty sure the support or existence of this security camera that functioned great is NO MORE!!

Update: After opening a case with VAVA, I received the reply below. It would have been nice if VAVA informed me of their end of support date when I purchased additional cameras less than two years ago. They've completely abandoned their customers. It's a shame because the camera hardware works great and the charge lasts for months. And these camera weren't cheap! All VAVA needed to do was to continue supporting their VAVA Home app. Let this be a warning to customers thinking of purchasing one of VAVA's expensive products. Don't expect it to be working in a few years. Here's the reply I received from VAVA: "We're truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Our main office has confirmed that the app is no longer maintained and has been completely removed from the Appstore or Google PlayStore since the product was already discontinued. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. Best Regards, Andre VAVA Customer Care"

I have the same problem as other VAVA Home Cam users where my motion detection notifications stopped working. I contacted VAVA support numerous times. They gave me the same canned reply to reinstall the VAVA Home app, which they already know does not solve the issue. That's just an insult. I've been without the motion detection notifications for months with no solution in sight. I'm about ready to throw my three outdoor cameras away, go find another product I can depend on, and never ever buy anything from VAVA again! VAVA seems to have abandoned their customers. Apparently they don't care.

I've had the system for 2 years. 1 home station and 4 cameras outside. The motion notification stopped within 2 months and the recorded notifications are next to impossible to retrieve. It just "no notifications this day" I've reset my home station and uninstalled/reinstalled the app and nothing! Our cat got out and for the first time we really need to access the notifications but cant! What a POS!!!

Same issue as the rest of the customers! Stopped giving motion detection on phones IOS the last 3-4 weeks. They wont give a replacement device or refund! I feel like i'm getting the run around because they dont have a fix or dont support this hardware anymore.

Stopped receiving motion alerts to my phone about 40 days ago. It's been 25 days since VAVA support returned my email stating it's a known issue with no solution, that they'd email me when they receive the latest update from their engineering team. I not only use their system to monitor my own home/property but to monitor my 99 year old father when I get motion alerts from his home to call emergency personnel if he falls/has an emergency. I do get the alerts sent to my email but there's a longer delay than when I was getting them straight to my phone. The 3 systems I've purchased are almost useless at this point. If VAVA can no longer honor the features they advertised, perhaps a full refund for all the systems people have purchased from them should be made. I'll never recommend this company's equipment and discourage anyone considering purchasing from them.
