Great app and pretty UI. Only complaint I have is every time I open it I have to restore my purchase in order to use anything other than the starter filters. I purchased it already, what does it not remember this?

I always appreciate well designed high quality apps like this. The effects are great and I'm tempted to buy in-app effects even though I know how to do them all in photoshop. It's just fast and conveniently on my phone. The hashtag feature is the best part of TRIPPY for me. Let's you copy 30 relevant hashtags to your post that help drive engagement. This was something extra they didn't even have to do and I appreciate it so they get the 5 stars for going above and beyond.

There was previously an app that had the same content as this one, but shut down due to lack of funds (I believe). Either way, I feel as if it’s sort of a scam, considering they delete one app, make another, then tons of people redownload the SAME app, spend money again on filters and textures, then are told TRIPPY is being shut down because of funds (boohoo). What gives? I purchased at least $15 worth of textures & filters and I can’t get them restored?

The filters and textures are dope, which is why I’m even bothering to write a review & be disappointed. If it wasn’t for that I’d rate TRIPPY 5 stars, even if they are scammy...

Sure, there are a couple cool filters that save you the time from dialing manually in the other apps, however all flexibility is lost. It does exactly what it advertises so technically it should be five stars. However, you can't even move the textures! Light leak? Where I don't want it? Nah, sorry. Just another inflexible filter app. Try doing something profound like Polar for the price! Good start, but keep adding features and don't offend people with your prices from the get go. You'll do better gathering a following with lower prices.

The thumbnail filters and effects you see upfront are not what you get with TRIPPY . It looks like once upon a time there were many stunning features to TRIPPY but after buying the whole package and editing a few pictures I was very underwhelmed. It's my fault for not reading more reviews before making the purchase but whoever's behind the advertising and development of TRIPPY needs to be way more upfront with what it's actually going to offer you.

I’m enjoying playing with the filters and textures. It’s great that you can layer filters but it’s weird you have to unlock that option within the option section.

When you open TRIPPY you realize you have to pay like $5 for each of their “this app” filter packages, but they’re generous enough to offer you their bundle package 50% off for a grand total of $20. Maybe if the filters were cool I would pay for them but I bought the “acid trip” package, which was really just a “different color tint” package, and it’s not worth it. You can get the exact same filters for free on dozens of other apps.

You do have to buy the filters but the basic filter pack works just fine for me.

cool way to spice your photos up. paid content seems high but honestly I use them constantly. do yourself a favor and unlock the full package which includes future updates too

It’s not worth it, the filters are super basic, and boring. I paid for an expensive full package, one time purchase, and now TRIPPY is requiring payment for all the filters again.

I have had it for over 3 years now, I cannot remember a single time when I achieved the desired effects with TRIPPY.

Not paying again, not recommending.

I saw an ad for TRIPPY on Instagram and the way it was displayed was an app that you could render motion filters in, however after paying for TRIPPY I found out that was not the case. I feel bad leaving a negative review because it truly is a cool app, however I feel the advertisement could be a little better explaining what TRIPPY actually does.

There is nothing....absolutely nothing....in this startup app that cannot be found for free in dozens of other apps. Meaning, there is nothing shared or advertised to convince that the $20 - $40 expansion app/tools are gonna rock my world. One little cloud would have wowed and convinced me. My guess is that the marketing person tried to tell them.

Lol. Dont be fooled. 5 star ratings are clearly paid for. Not only can you not try the filters before you buy, you have to buy EVERY ONE. Comes out to like 50 bucks. This is a laughable attempt to steal money directly from parents credit cards via unsupervised spoiled children. Unfortunately they are probably making money off it but don't consciously spend money on this garbage app.

Click bait. They just should put a price tag on it. It’s not this app. Try to use a this app falter, charges you immediately. The name is total click bait. Just use your iphones filters, much better. What a total scam. I’ve never left a review on a free download before but here I am? Not even one filter to try, pathetic. Pathetic. How worthless, -1* you should be ashamed of yourself

TRIPPY doesn’t let you try out one single picture, yours or sample one, you just have to purchase it and blindly believe that it will look good. So stupid. Don’t they think if I try it out for a day or a few photos, I might love it and pay even more for it?
Very poor business technique.

I really wish I would’ve know that you cannot edit videos before I purchased. Other than that it’s a decent happy if you purchase all of the filters.

But just need to fix the bug in settings. When you go to the hashtags, it closes out and doesn’t let you see the hashtags.

I love it but I'd wish there were more options free - but I will definitely when I get paid by the rest of it because I really do like it a lot

TRIPPY was a waste of my time and money. I downloaded TRIPPY just to find out that I had to buy the filters. I spent $20 on "88" filters even though there's only a few useable ones. TRIPPY was over advertised especially considering all of the filters you could makeshift on another app for free! I am severely disappointed.

A tad more developement needed and if downloadable for free... there needs to be a little bit more accessible features that are free, otherwise just charge and I think people will be more prone to keep TRIPPY and possibly upgrade even further.
