Never allows me to log in with my username and password, tried resetting my login info and contacting the bank for support, no luck. Too bad because I love the customer service at CU1

Makes me type password every time. Asks for my pin every time. Asks me to confirm that I want Touch ID every time. Not convenient. Not user friendly. Only reason I keep it is so I can get the notifications on my usage. Could definitely use some work

After a month of weekly calls to CU1 I am now being told this a “known” issues affecting more than just me. They told me they have no established time for a fix.

Does not work(for me). I try to setup a new user and card and I get an error “Terms and Conditions cannot be displayed”. I have made 3 calls to CU1 and it has been over a week with no resolution. The answer I have been given is they are “waiting for technical support” to respond. I have tried two different cards as well as two different iOS devices with the same result.

All of a sudden it keeps giving me an error message after I type in my correct username & password!

There is an issue with CreditUnion1CardControl where you’re unable to login to control your cards; you get an error message stating the server cannot be reached. This has been an ongoing problem for over a month. Also, if you click on “Contacts us”, the incorrect bank contact information is provided (CU1 of Illinois, a completely different bank than CU1 of Alaska).

While selecting travel locations abroad Taiwan is listed as “Taiwan, Province of China”. This indicates low development standards to question overall code base security. Not a trustworthy credit card management application.

Also like other banking institutions the features here could be integrated into the main CU1 app.

I needed this to help myself save money. It took me 7 phone calls and 3 days just to create an account. CreditUnion1CardControl constantly disabled me even though my information was correct.
Im now going through a terrible earthquake and need my card back on, CreditUnion1CardControl says my account does not exist and that I have disabled to even make a new account.
Again, do not get CreditUnion1CardControl. It’ll save you a lot more time not getting it.

Not sure what is going on but it stopped refreshing my account information. I deleted CreditUnion1CardControl and decided to try reinstalling it. It wouldn’t let me log in at all. Removed it a second time. I really liked it when I first got it. Card control and immediate notifications were a great help. Too bad.

“Server Unreachable”

I like it so far but we need a way to change the title to something we’re familiar with, like the way we can rename the account title in the other app. Most ppl don’t memorize the last 4 unless they’re looking at the card directly. Nicknames, dear programmers, nicknames!!

CreditUnion1CardControl will not let me reset my password when I genuinely forgot it with my first account. I have had to make 3 so far. Another thing that needs work is the fact CreditUnion1CardControl itself logs you off then says the correct password is incorrect.

Great idea for getting control of your credit and debit cards. The notifications are instant. When I swipe my card at the store, my phone "dings" within a couple seconds every time.

My only complaint is about the linked account balances. They never update. CreditUnion1CardControl still shows the account balances as the amount that was in my accounts on the date I first installed CreditUnion1CardControl . Hitting the refresh button doesn't fix the balances, but it does update the "as of" date for the balances. Logging out and back in doesn't fix it either. Fix that bug and it's a 5-star app.

Very helpful... But,
If you turn your cards off & then try to turn them on to use them... More times than not, your transaction WON'T go through! You have to manipulate your accounts with the previous App to get the transaction to be approved. (this can be REALLY embarrassing in the check-out line!)

It’s a great app and I’ve been using it for a while and I really loved it. And now I don’t know how to reach y’all, but I can’t login to CreditUnion1CardControl it says server can’t be reached if you guys can fix that please and thank you

Have not been using for long. Will give better update.

Great app, for when you want to check your recent balance and transactions without having to call your bank. 5/5 A+.

CreditUnion1CardControl is a great companion to the CU1 bank app - this new version (as of late 2024) brings much needed improvements over the old.
