Most of the time SLCL doesn’t even load. When I open SLCL I’m stuck at a circling loading screen before I can even log in.

This new version does NOT a work!!!

I guess they updated this recently because now it looks completely different, and now it won’t even work. Never had this issue in the past. I just get stuck with a loading screen anytime I try to do a search, no matter what. The website seems to be doing the exact same thing. This actually renders the library completely useless to me right now because now I can’t even browse their catalogue to check if something I need is even at my location. Please fix SLCL!

Just when it was mostly working, the developers decided to “improve” it and now it doesn’t work at all on my Apple phone. I am so frustrated because this does not reflect the excellence of the library system itself.

There is no way to view your lists or add books to them through SLCL , which is the only reason I downloaded it in the first place.

SLCL is broken on iPhone ever since the update. It just has a loading screen and then an error message that says unable to connect to server. I am on iOS 14.4.1.

Last few days since update its slow or shows server not found. Please fix.

Fix SLCL ! Nothing works in it!!! There is always such issues with it!!!

SLCL went from bad to WORSE. Come on. Any testing happening before it is released?!

The this app app is disappointingly archaic. It only seems to work part of the time, and even then there’s a lot going wrong. There’s a lag between every function, the results displayed in search are too often not the results the catalog on the desktop website displays. I would always rather open the website on my mobile browser and deal with that, despite that it isn’t mobile friendly, than try to navigate SLCL. It needs a serious overhaul.

Love SLCL, makes everything super convenient from requesting to renewing. There’s just ONE thing that would make it excellent - a Wish List. There are so many times I’ll pop into the library and pass a whole section of books that I want to grab but know that I won’t be able to read them all before they’re due back. But then I forget what they are once I’m back at the library. A Wish List within SLCL would be super helpful because it could include the ISBN number and allow you to request it for pickup all within SLCL ! :)

Thank you for changing the sort order of the holds list, it is PERFECT now. The due soon, overdue, and ready for pickup notifications on the front page of SLCL are also great additions. THANK YOU! SLCL does have the “Save for Later” feature, but does not seem to have access to my already existing list created on the library website, because SLCL says I need to make a list before saving anything. Please find a way to make the website and app add to the same list.

SLCL is quick, I find what book I need 98% of the time. The librarian chat option is AMAZING, they always help find what I need. But if you close SLCL by mistake the entire history of the chat disappears.

They need more search filters on books and different medias.

If it’s possible to add recommendations based on what we checked out or show the next volume of a book we borrowed.

I would very much like being able to see my entire checked out book history, on SLCL .

It would be great to see if the library needs donations, so we can help support them. For example if they need jigsaw puzzles or printer paper.

Everyone should take the time to visit their local library at least once a month to check out what they offer. It’s a wonderful experience.

I really like the new version. It’s way more user friendly and easy to get what you need.

For a public library, this is a pretty good app. I love being able to Self-Checkout and have my barcode on my phone. If you have a library card, just download SLCL , you won’t regret it.

I find this feature very convenient. I can filter a search by location/audience/type which makes narrowing my search much easier. I can also choose an option to filter events that are occurring just for that day. Once I find what I’m looking for, I am also able to sign up for the event/class in SLCL which is very handy!
