Go back to the drawing board please!!!!!

I have never written a review for an app before but feel compelled to do so now. The this app app is horrible. Why in the world would a company that is in the business of making money$$$ make the pictures of the items they are selling so ridiculously small?! And good luck zooming in because the picture quality is garbage. Seriously this app, what is the deal? I am an avid shopping. Much to my fiancé and pocketbook’s dismay. But I can barely see the dang things. And another issue is the video. Even with WiFi going, you got about a 50/50 shot of watching an uninterrupted demo video. I live for those videos. So I can see the items I can’t see from the photos. And then there are the color or option sections. Ok, so even though a particular color is sold out, I’d still like to know what it was. The way it is now, once it’s sold out, you can only know what option it was again by watching the video you have a prayer of seeing. I mean honestly, usually it’s a black page with the audio playing. You guys really, and I mean really need to get it together and make an app worthy of your level of customer service excellence. Because what you have right now is not. The only part that is easy and convenient is the checkout out part. Of course, because you are collecting our money lol!!! With all sincerity, QVC is severely flawed and I really do hope you read these. I mean you have to be able to see the pieces for God’s sake!

Me, trying to GO OUT to shop....😩

I am disabled due to a car accident in 2001. To try going out shopping, eating out, taking kiddos to school or extra curricular activity is extremely difficult, for myself and whoever is helping me. Needless to s crazy!
However, I found this app one day as I was looking at the tv. I had heard about it because my Grandma had shopped for years & years. So I watched it for a bit, and by about the second hour, I had ordered my first Cooks Essentials!!! It was, I believe, a 10 piece set of cookware that I knew I would never be embarrassed again for guests to see the pot & pans I used to cook THEIR food!!!!!
As I write this now, 16 years later and asked how MANY TIMES I have ordered, low - ball it at over 500 items!!!! I have shopped in almost every category. Every thing I buy wether it is for a birthday gift, a baby/bridal show, or for me, comes from this app!!! The easiness, the quality, and the variety, is almost as important in my decision to invest in this app!! The staff from host to online we shopping can not be anymore helpful in assisting me!! They all are WONDERFUL!!!! I will be here until I die!!!!!!!

I Love QVC

this app has become like a second home to me. I started watching at first because nothing on television really appealed to me anymore. TV had gotten distasteful, violent or just plain moronic. I stumbled on this app. and found it to be pleasant, uplifting and fun! At first I was afraid to buy something without actually feeling it or trying it on, but I took a leap of faith and never looked back. That is because the Customer Care Representatives and the return policy that this app offers is second to none. Never, ever have I spoken to a representative who was rude or disagreeable or impatient. I trust this app and even if I’m not looking to buy something, I have it on in the background when I’m cooking, or put it on when I come home after being out. The hosts are warm and friendly and know how to present an item in a delicate way with no fast talking pitch. I have spent a lot of money buying things we love to have or gift to family and friends and I very rarely have any regrets. But if I do, I have no fears, as I said, returning an item is easy and painless. I hope this app will be around for a long, long time.

Terrible now

What used to be a great app with a high ease of use is horrible now. I've spent half the day trying to pull up a product and watch the video. Video goes black even though they are still talking. You can't expand to full size screen viewing on your device for the video as it will go black and freeze up. (And yes I have full signal) Search freezes. When you finally get it to come up and try to click on the item, it's like it's a dead screen. I've been using QVC for years and I can honestly say that usability gets worse with each update, at least the last few. Not to mention phone ordering has issues more often than it should recently. Maybe the technology competency needs re-evaluated. When you go through a few times of not being able to get QVC to work and not get a call in, you start moving to the competitor.

Do not buy from this company.

This company is literally here to borrow your money for a few days. I made an order twice and the lady said I didn’t put my email so they canceled and made me wait over 5 business days to receive my funds which is funny cause i received confirmation on the email I absolutely did supply. Now the second time I ordered, I made an account and everything with them so they couldn’t use the same excuse and they still canceled the order, went so far as to delete my account without refunding me. When I tried to get in I had to make a new account with the email I already used which I didn’t cause what company does that without returning your money. Its like a scam with these people. It’s always an issue trying to get your funds back and the representatives are horrible. They’ll say they sent a note to your bank so they can drop the processed charged and they dont. Contacted my bank and all and verified they didn’t send anything.. beware if you order you won’t receive your items and you may have to deal with back to back calls to they’re customer service just to get back and on top of that you have to wait possible 7-10 business days just to get get your funds back. Horrible company.

Lack of information and I’m left wondering after purchases!

Ordered a few items for the first time ever on the easy payments method. Arrival date for shipped items are non existent. All of the items I have ordered aren’t showing up in my recent orders! They don’t break down your payments so you can view what is owed monthly per item, all you see it a grand total. No email that items have shipped. There is an estimated shipping date on my unshipped items but nothing on my shipped items. Am I supposed to sit home all day everyday and wait so no one steals things off my porch because of no delivery date on shipped items?? This is a disaster!!! I’m a super online shopper and this has me all stressed in every way possible. Very unorganized! When checking out, it didn’t even tell me what they charged me. Just a grand total for all items. The no break down of payment amount is so dumb!! We want all the info on all of our items! I’m left in the dark here and why aren’t my items in purchase history?? Just 2 items are showing. HELLLLLPPPPPPP

Still no sound!

Come on this app! Every since I installed QVC I have had no sound on videos. I have deleted, reinstalled and deleted again and again. Even with updates, the sound never works! This is a buggy badly put together app and this app (as with other major companies) should be ashamed for these low end apps they continue to put out and refuse to truly fix. Have you figured out how much revenue you are loosing out on? Or, do you make so much money, it just doesn’t matter as long as you have some sort (crappy) of digital presence!! I don’t want to open my this app app only to have to go to the web version to listen to a video! And, what kind of low security do you have to have that I have to sign-in with every action I want take! I signed-in at the start, unless my login time has expired
( which it shouldn’t after 1 or 2 minutes ) why do I have to sign-in to purchase, to check my order status, to check my account etc????
Instead of saving money and fixing ( or not fixing ) issues as they come up, how about trying to really invest in your company and higher some true tech professionals and make an app that works!!!!!

Ordering everything in one order! Crazy shipping!

I took time, lots of time! To go back-and-forth to order six crazy expensive items, Vionic, Earth Origin, And a robe for $40 so two pairs of ionic slippers, three pairs of Earth origins clogs, total of order was $300 which included shipping on each individual product of $5 or more each!
Prior to that I ordered a pair of boots with the six dollar shipping charge, I called back and asked if I placed an order with multiple items with the shipping charge be just one higher price or higher individual prices or what?
She said well ordering all in one order would be one shipping price but might be a little bit higher so that’s what I did however I paid a total of $30 or $35 shipping on this order! Plus the six dollars on the previous sorry! This is totally unacceptable! My first time on this app probably will be my last period now so if these are Christmas gifts she told me there would be free returns on Christmas gifts if they didn’t like them. We will see how that happens. I am totally frustrated! I could’ve bought another whole item for that amount of money. I understand shipping charges $35? NO!

App is unreliable

I LOVE this app, but QVC for IPhones—not so much. It’s slow, doesn’t always load the “front page” where the on air video is, etc. I wasted s half he today trying to order an item that had been on air about 10 min prior, but I had missed the item #. Went to QVC to find the item and couldn’t even get the “front page” on QVC . QVC “dropped” my login, but then popped up with my account info. ??

I ended up having to call this app (which is what I was trying to avoid as I needed to do more research on the item first) just to get the item number.

This is fairly common for me to have problems with the this app app—not very easy to use. If you want folks to use QVC vs callers, someone needs to step up QVC performance. It’s costing you sales—sometimes it’s so frustrating I just quit.

A joke!

QVC is horrible. One of the worst ever! Most categories you click on only give you the first couple dozen results; and when you change the filtering, it’ll either do the same thing or give you no results at all. It also often gives no results when you click on any of the links to a category. It’s just awful, and there’s no work around this issue except to open up a browser and go that route. But that’s a nightmare in and of itself because if you’re looking down a list of items, each time you click on an item and go back, it sends you back to the top of the results. I guess they’re as awful at web designing as they are in business, especially in sending out items in a timely manner, or in doing exchanges or giving refunds, even though “mail order” is ALL the company does. Don’t bother, folks. With this app at all. They’re insanely overpriced on proprietary brands, and they sell a whole lot of garbage polyester clothes for ridiculous prices, despite it being the cheapest fabric on the planet. And the most polluting.

I’m a QVCer

I’ve been shopping w Q for many years now. I’ve ordered mostly clothing and jewelry but it seems I’ve tried one of everything. I just can’t stop watching. I tell myself to avoid watching so I stop spending and then I’ll sneak a peek of the TSV online and BAM, it’s always something I HAVE to have!! 😆 How do they do this??? A great example is today.... I did a sneak peak on tv and there is Susan Graver w a perfect fall coat as the TSV. BAM... I HAD to have one!! It’s a vicious cycle, but I love it!!
If I could change one thing it would be: when ordering more than one item, it would be great if they came in the same box w one shipping fee. You’ll do this for exact multiples but not for different multiple items. So if I order a coat, earrings & shoes at the same time, they’ll come in 3 diff boxes w 3 shipping charges! Boo!

Frustrated Shopper

I have enjoyed shopping at this app for years and was thrilled with the iPhone app experience until recently. When you cannot receive accurate vital information, shopping becomes a real hassle! Lately I have witnessed incorrect measurements on garment specifications causing me to miss out on items due to them being sold out by the time I am able to send back for an exchange. There are also issues with the wishlist not stating whether an item is truly available making it impossible to even place a waitlist order. It is also not possible to see details or garment measurements when clicking on a wishlist item which results in having to search for the item to find this information. I don’t know what has happened, but I am disappointed and these changes are causing unnecessary hassle that has me inclined to no longer bother shopping with this app. Please value your loyal customers enough to make shopping on QVC more pleasant and less troublesome!

Error

Error window keeps coming up occasionally when I try to login to QVC . Also, when I can login to check my orders, there’s no way of knowing whether it’s been shipped or if a return has been received. As of now, I’m not sure an order I placed last week was processed. Other orders since then have been processed. When I called customer service they wouldn’t or couldn’t check to see what the status was on either issue and just told me the site was down. Not sure whether I should re-order or not and hopefully when I can, it’ll still be in stock. Seems no one knows. In any event, it would be nice to know if my account has been credited from a return.

Unable To Sign In

I used to love QVC and still would IF I could sign in. I used to be able to sign in and now when I put my information and password in, the sign in icon is not red, it is shaded grey and I’m unable to log in. (I am able to log in on the website on my phone using Safari.)

I called this app last week to report this. The customer care rep was awesome and patient however after doing everything he suggested I still cannot log in. First I reset my password and no luck. I deleted QVC and reinstalled it and no luck. I reset my password again and no luck although when he went to QVC he was able to log in there. I deleted QVC again and left it off until just now. I saw there had been an update so I tried again and still no luck. I’m writing this review in the hopes that I’ll be able to use QVC again in the future. Using an iPhone 6, IOS 12 and all other apps work fine.

Why not 5 stars

I have been watching this app since you started. I am becoming less inclined to watch some of your shows because some of the new host seem to more concerned about themselves than the product they are demonstrating. Of the older hosts I am turning off David more and more. He seems to becoming phony. That happy dance seems to be about him and the happy dance t-shirt, are you kidding me. Dan and Rick do there job as a host and I appreciate their attitude. They demonstrate the product and it is not about themselves. Shawn is always good she has fun while interacting with the hosts and demonstrates the product always showing respect to the guest and not over talking them. It seems like everyone is trying to copy her, which is not working.

SO QUICK!!!

I just wanted to say how much I love this this app app! It used to take me so long to call and sometimes things would be gone before I could get my order placed. Not only that,but I can watch different presentations over and over rather quickly as well . I love how I can even see ,not only what is being presented at that time ,but I can also see what items have been on air in a quick glance! This is all with the touch of one app! I also have the HSN app and I can quickly jump from one to the other when looking for that perfect gift or sometimes I even find myself something that I wasn’t even looking for!! Thanks so much ,this app ,for making our lives easier ❤️

SUPER DUPER SHOPPING NETWORK

I have been shopping on this channel for ages, and I must admit that I yet have to find a more reliable and better channel than HSN. They are absolutely reliable, and what you see is exactly what you get when they tell you when your purchase shall be arriving at your door. Returns are easy and straight forward. I love and trust trust them so much that once I place my order and give them my credit card number, I have nothing more to worry about, because I know that my card number and everything else is in very good hand. God Bless you HSN . I wish that there were more networks like you. Thank you for all that you have done for me and continue to do for me. Love.

Good app

You can definitely find a good sell on this app whether it’s shoes, make up or holiday decorations. The fact that I can make payments on designer items makes it even better. I like that this app is always trying to improve their customer experience and for that I really hope someone reads my review. QVC has crashed several times on my phone therefore I have to use my laptop if I want to leave a review. Sometimes QVC has crashed at random. Please fix🙏🏼

I really enjoy shopping through this app so I hope someone reads this and fixes the bugs. Overall aside from QVC crashing on my phone I really enjoy my online experience and plan to make more purchases in the future.

High S&H is a deterrent

Love this app but the high S&H fees can and are a big deterrent for me. I can understand the high cost for large items but not for light and small items. Reminds me of another shopping network that I will not shop from any longer no matter what the item or how good the deal.
I hate to say this but I am so frustrated when this app uses the USPS to ship items. I NEVER get my items by the EDD. I wish they would not use them.
Also, not a fan of the QVV app. Needs a lot of improvement. You can’t view your orders and simply go back, you have to start from the order button all over again.
Lastly, I have been finding a lot of items cheaper on other websites which is unfortunate. Especially when you figure in the high shipping fees.

Raised on QVC shopping

Since Day 1 of the early cable tv days in West Chester, PA, I have known I could count on this app for a great gift idea for even the “hardest to shop for” people. I even spent my grad school years in the this app customer orders center right in front of the stage and enjoyed watching the production from behind the scenes. I met lots of celebrities and pulled the “lucky number” balls onstage too. Though I moved away from my hometown in 1995 and the days of Kathy and Steve are long gone, (though Jane, Pat, Dan and Mary Beth aren’t!!) turning on this app wherever I was living always made me feel like I was home with family. Thanks for always being there with great quality items and ditching the useless ones (ahem, Capodimonte!)

Every Q imaginable and the best app

I’ve been a this app shopper since I was a teen- my aunt was an avid CVN/this app customer and I grew up in a home where “the Q” was often on as entertainment. We thought calling customer service to place orders was great. Now with QVC and all the technology advancements we can enjoy the Q (and all the Q’s!) anywhere and all the time. I love being able to watch presentations and search products when I want and have time. My husband jokes that my delivery label just has my first name and county listed and the packages reach me since I’ve ordered tens of thousands of dollars worth of products over 25 years of shopping with the Q. I’ve seen the genesis of the Q and QVC is one of the best out there. Hardly freezes, always new content, high production value. QVC is easy, full of fabulous content from all brands of the Q (this app OG, this app 2, this app 3, Beauty IQ), live presentations and archived shows, plus additional content. For a very busy person QVC makes it super easy to get shopping done for holidays, birthdays, special occasions, even everyday needs like makeup, hair and body care, etc. Even food, entertaining and decorating needs! Special offers and easy returns are a game changer. How can you go wrong?

Hate the updates

Hate it! This had been an easy-to-use app up until the latest updates. I Do Not Want a video to start every time I make a selection! This need to be an option I can turn off. I dislike scrolling for colors and sizes. Look at the HSN app. On it I can see all the colors and available sizes on one screen. Not like QVC where I'm scrolling and trying to find a combination that's available. This is now a mess and I hate it!
Jul7 update and it's still awful. I'm going to save money because I hardly look at it anymore and I used to look at it several times a day. And make regular purchases. It's weird that this app would choose to show so few items on their home screen. Moved app off my home screen for first time ever.
Nov11 OK don’t look at HSN as a good example. Overall their app is now even worse than this app’s! Although I do still like their product pages better for viewing available sizes and colors.
this app what happened to the show preview pages? I used to look ahead to see what products would be shown in AM Style and other shows. I can’t find this feature anymore.

Stinks!

What have you done to QVC ??? It absolutely stinks! Everything works great as far as ordering but the problems occur when you go to review your orders, your advance orders, returns, etc. The first page is all that truly loads. When you try to go to the next, pictures of the items are not showing and there is no written detail to give you a clue as to what the item is; all that shows is the date ordered. So you have to try to open it to find out what the heck it is and that’s another issue too because you have to click on the non-existent picture area to get the darn thing to open!! Also, I keep getting a pink box at the top of the page telling me that the last thing you want to do is disappoint me and sorry for the delay! Really???? I find the whole layout cumbersome and hard to follow. Did HSN take over your app development??? If so, even bigger mistake because theirs stinks too! Please fix and make it easier to follow like it used to be!!! My iPhone is a 7 plus and all software is up to date.

App keeps kicking me out, goes back to Home Screen on I phone. Software is up to date. New phone, but was doing it prior to getting new phone as well.
