Why should we have to pay to transfer files between hardware weโ€™ve already purchased? Shameful. Itโ€™s also not clear how data is used/stored during the transfer process.

Canโ€™t connect my QNAP NAS anymore

After a software update with my QNAP NAS, I turned on the 2 Step verification to protect my account, then PhotoBackup stopped working. Shows below:

The "Go Pro" nags are ridiculously frequent

I'd love to give a full review of PhotoBackup but I can't work on anything for more than roughly 10 seconds without a new nag pop up asking me to "Go Pro". How about you give the user a chance to explore PhotoBackup for a while before bombarding them with nags? I've been happy with my NAS so far but this has me wondering if I should have bought a Synology NAS instead. Really disappointing.

Not all the photos transfer to NAS.

Especially png files exported with snapseed photo editor. PhotoBackup canโ€™t see or recognize the png files at all.

When it works it's not bad

PhotoBackup stopped finding the server even though I could hit the same IP with web and qfile. It also converts videos before upload which will stop working if you're low on space and seems unnecessary on a LAN. I think the qfile app works well enough. I regret purchasing PhotoBackup and no longer use it.

Quality and works well

No issues and going strong on my QNAP NAS with iPhone 7 iOS 11
