Beyond the most dumbest storage app in life. I regret making this years ago to hold my photos. They started to charge a fee, and also aren’t allowed to host your images. It takes an awful long time to delete the 12k+ photos I have had on there, and save it to my camera roll and other storage photo apps. This is my third time paying money to get all my photos to delete PhotobucketPhotoStorage in full. I lost plenty of pictures because it is so slow and takes forever to load and I never know if it’s the end of it or not. Goodbye to my priceless photos. I wish I had something different back then to hold my photos because this was such a hassle. Even on a computer.. or browser. And phone all in alll.

Used this years ago but stopped using it. Now i get bombarded with emails trying to get me to pay for services or lose my photos.

I have attempted to delete my account multiple times. I told them i do not want my photos and do not want them on the internet anymore.

There is no way to delete my account and the spam emails never stop. I have requested my account be deleted 8 times via customer service emails. They have told me they arw going to delete the account and the spam emails about upgrading my account will stop… but they apparently keep lying to me.

Do not download PhotobucketPhotoStorage or use their services.

I regret making an account with photobucket there wasn’t a limit on space years ago now they charge a fee you can’t access your account to get your account where you don’t need to pay a fee worst app ever

I’ve had an account for as long as I can remember I recently opened PhotobucketPhotoStorage to print some pictures and everything is gone !!! I sent in email to their customer support And never got a response..

Photobucket would not allow me to access my photos without a membership because I was above the free storage limit. I then decided to delete enough pictures to be able to store my priceless photos from my childhood which seemed to work at first. PhotobucketPhotoStorage does not allow you to download or save your photos so I left them in there. When I tried to access my account today I see that Photobucket deleted all of my photos. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has experienced this and I’m sure legal action can be taken against them for doing so. I will be looking into how to start a class action lawsuit against this greedy, terrible company.

Photobucket used to be a free service, so I placed my photos with them. They suddenly decided to charge for access so I have to pay just to see my photos ever again.
They also LOST all my family vacation clips.

If I could give zero stars I would!! They want to charge me for my photos? Won’t even let me see them till I pay a fee!! Who does that? Most of those pictures I won’t ever get to see again of my daughter being born! Worst photo backup ever!!

I find it ridiculous that I have to pay for my own pictures now! and I’m being called a “host” I don’t understand that, I had PhotobucketPhotoStorage for years now I’m going loose all my pictures Wish there was a way to get all my pictures out! 😤

Photobucket keeps spamming my email inbox saying I have to make a decision to pay $5 a month or delete my pictures… all I really want to do is to download my pictures to delete my account. At its current stage; Photo bucket is anti consumer & at its end of life… good riddance

I’ve had my account for at least 15 years, and although I knew PhotobucketPhotoStorage had serious issues before, I was still able to access it. I literally cannot get into it now; when I try to reset the password, both PhotobucketPhotoStorage AND the website are completely inaccessible. This is ridiculous.

PhotobucketPhotoStorage is terrible. Paid for upgraded service so I could access all my photos that I had on my phone from years ago. App on my phone won’t even open just spins in circles forever

Let others customers mention. They will not allow you to take your photos to transfer them out to delete the account. They want to charge you to be able to access your photos even tho you had their free account to store some photos. Look into class action lawsuit. We can take them easy.

It used to be good but now it is very buggy. I keep getting notices to upgrade my account even though I did a while back. Also the upload tool is just crap. I upload through the full website. They need to abandoned this and start over. I only use it really for hosting and using links to share when I am not able to upload on a social media post. I don't use it for backup.

I stated using their service waaay back in 2005 I think. Last year they accused me of illegally hosting whatever that means and threatened to delete everything. They regularly send emails threatening to delete if I don’t pay. Which is ridiculous because they ALREADY DELETED everything!!! And forget trying to log in on PhotobucketPhotoStorage - it’s broken. Every place there’s supposed to be a button there’s a box that just says “label”. Utter trash.

I’ve had photobucket for over ten years now. It’s the photo storage I’ve been using since high school. It holds all of my young memories! Suddenly they wanna charge us every month just to see / open our account and photos. I wish there was a way to save everything I have on there and upload to another app I use now. I only pay because I don’t want to lose those memories. It’s really a terrible situation. No other app charges like that unless you need EXTRA storage. Which is reasonable in that case.

I am being charged for multiple subscriptions under the same account information. I am not able to access all of my photos and videos because they have me listed under a beginner package which I been paying for expert and intermediate packages. Technically I’m paying for multiple subscriptions and still can’t access the content. The customer service redirected me back to Apple and apple can’t help with the the access of my account. Thanks for nothing Photobucket! You’re thieves!

Got PhotobucketPhotoStorage to store photos before iCloud came out. Worked fine at first, but kept getting slower and slower. Got tired of it, so I saved most of what I wanted back to my camera roll & deleted PhotobucketPhotoStorage . My account was still active, so I didn't lose any photos. I recently redownloaded it to get more old photos, but had to pay a monthly fee! I figured, fine! I'll simply retrieve more photos & cancel my subscription. Gonna have to say goodbye to a lot of photos which I just don't have the time to agonise saving. I have to screenshoot each individual photo I want to keep.

I made an account years ago way back when I was in high school maybe 2006 or 2007 and now they are accusing me of HOSTING!!! I wouldnt dare pay you guys to store pictures when I can store pictures on iCloud or google. If someone happened to make an account BEFORE you guys started charging they shouldn’t have to be penalized. Also if I need to delete pictures I don’t mind but I’m NOT paying for a photo storage that moves SUPERRRRRRRRRR SLOWWWWWW and takes up a lot storage on the phone. This is why I deleted PhotobucketPhotoStorage . Then the system is also fickle. It freezes and send spam ads also. Photobucket went from 5 stars to 0 stars over the last decade.

I’m absolutely disgusted that PhotobucketPhotoStorage is charging me to give me my own photos back. Ive been saving and deleting photos for two months now to the best of my ability. I had this free saving engine for YEARS. Like 15 years. Before apps and all these and now you basically hold the photos for RANSOM. It’s absolutely insane. I’m so upset. I would understand to save MORE photos charge, but not to get the ones I have on there already.

Great going photobucket in “fixing” your problem and updating PhotobucketPhotoStorage it caused me to lose years worth of photos and memories! And I figured “hm maybe if I buy a subscription they’ll return them” 🤔 NOPE! Just did it for nothing but don’t worry I’m about to cancel it right now. I don’t recommend this too anyone, only reason I still dealt with PhotobucketPhotoStorage is because I started using it back in middle school and eventually moved on but I also had pictures on PhotobucketPhotoStorage but now that you just deleted them all I guess this is where I officially cut ties with you 🤝

I’ve had photobucket since 2007 or so. Private profile, thousands of photos, some sensitive material that was never an issue since my profile was private, etc. Now all of a sudden, after a decade of use, PB is telling me I’m over my limit and when I get on to see what’s going on half my photos are blank because they “violate terms of use”. Wasn’t a problem for a decade. Why now, Photobucket?

But what really gets me is all the photos of my son as a newborn, now with a lovely Photobucket watermark over them like PB owns them. Photos that I’m unable to retrieve because PhotobucketPhotoStorage crashes every time I press the download button and I can’t screenshot them with a watermark over them. NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Oh, it’s free? Still not worth it.

i read another review & i agree totally. i have been a member for over 10 years now and its BS! from PhotobucketPhotoStorage to the online site its garbage. if i didnt have so much stuff saved on the site i would leave asap but its ok bc im slowly but surely working towards downloading all of my stuff & putting it on a drive. IF PHOTOBUCKET ALLOWS ME. TAKES ME A WHOLE DAY JUST TO KIND OF GET ONE PICTURE BC THEY HAVE SO MANY RESTRICTIONS AND GLITCHES. used to be the beat storage site ever now its the worst and most expensive. youd think after all the money we have to pay that this would be the best up and running site there is. WRONG! if i could rate 0 i would but since i HAVE to put a star ill put 1 just know it should be 0!!!

Before I knew what Google photos was, Photobucket was where i stored all my photos/videos.
Photos & Videos of those who have passed on, happy memories, teen memories, etc. I have been with Photobucket since I was still a young teenager, I am 32 now!
I’m disappointed that they have now watermarked all my files and I have to pay?
Bc you guys are tanking, you want us to pay so y’all can keep a paycheck? Release all of our photos/videos to us and go on and proceed with that bankruptcy that you’re heading towards! Horrible. I’m upset that I ever put my trust in you guys to protect our videos/photos, just for you to be greedy and have you turn it around on us. Pathetic.

Some guy and me have been messaging for quite some time now and out of the blue he starts complaining saying how he can't download the photobucket app because his phone is jailbroken and he really needs to download it because he has pictures in it from 3 years ago when his brother died and he was trying to make a collage for his mom since it was her birthday, I login to his account and immediately all my photos start syncing and I told him "uhhh my photos are syncing" and he goes "oh don't worry my photos will start downloading right after yours does." and I stopped it halfway because I realized wha was happening and now he is attempting to blackmail me this may or may not ruin my life.

I used to love Photobucket. It was my top place for storing photos. They kept getting glitchier, more intrusive with ads, and I moved over to Google Pics. Photobucket then decided to start restricting accounts, and nobody was grandfathered in. They gave me a one day notice (labeled final notice even though it was the first one), that I needed to reduce my storage or buy a package. After that date, they started hounding me with “Urgent Message” emails a few times a week, wanting me to purchase a storage package. I finally blocked them in my email. As soon as I have a day to back up all of my photos, I’m deleting my Photobucket account. It was a downhill slide that happened over a few years. I won’t be back.

PhotobucketPhotoStorage is the slowest, most clunky app I have ever used. When uploading photos, the album totals aren't updated. When changing the name of an album, the name doesn't update. When moving an album or picture, that's not updated. Now they want to charge for their terrible service! The desktop version is just as bad. It crashes very frequently and freezes all the time. There are so many advertisements on the pages it takes away from the real reason you’re there - your pictures! Not to mention, once your pictures uploaded, you can’t get them back unless you painstakingly download them one by one on the terribly unstable desktop version. My recommendation: STAY AWAY!!!

Payed to see my photos and I can’t even watch videos without having to save each one of them individually. Yes I payed to get my pictures back this website MAKESYOUPAY after being “free” UNL storage to be able to see your pictures you uploaded trust me once you get to 10 gb you’ll be blocked from seeing your life’s pictures and you’ll get threatened that it’ll get deleted if you don’t pay . By email every other day until you pay . Photobucket used to be the best place to store photos but now I can’t say the same . Thanks photobucket for making stupid choices and having stupid people design an app that doesn’t work ! Oh and the website is equally as bad can’t see anything !!! But photos I can’t play 900 videos unless I download them to my computer . Such a rip off and terrible terrible website/app .

I used to use photobucket years ago and recently wanted to access my old photos. Using the website as I always had is now nearly impossible. With pop ups, ads making the site stop loading, and it just generally being buggy it was infuriating to simply click through the pages of albums. I downloaded PhotobucketPhotoStorage hoping it might be easier/faster than the site. It crashes upon opening. If I manage to open it without crashing and find a photo I would like to save it crashes. I ended up screen capping most of my own photos that photobucket, which used to be free, now wants to charge me monthly to store and access. Google Photos is by far superior in every way and I have now deleted this awful app.

It is incredibly irritating having my photos held hostage accompanied by several emails every other day saying if I don't give you money I can't have my photos. I am aware that it is a business but if you're going to take my life's work and history hostage you should at least notify of the changes so that myself and others have a chance to get their photos at least. And furthermore PhotobucketPhotoStorage is awful. They took away the ability to download by album and now it's only by photo. I have 3,000! You're telling me I have to save them all individually? F you, Photobucket. PhotobucketPhotoStorage won't even let me go from looking at one album to the next without hard resetting it, it just says no photos to show (but says there's pics in the folder), not to mention the ads. Good grief.

I never read when I signed up for this FREE service over TEN YEARS AGO. I will pay the money, download all my pictures and cancel my account with them. What a joke. I would imagine photobucket will be losing COUNTLESS customers. But I guess if you think about it, if they hold the pictures or thousands of people hostage for $6 each they’ll make a killing whether we sign up or cancel after one payment. SCAM!

So I guess now that we have to pay, we can’t even access what we have in the free storage? PhotobucketPhotoStorage and website say we can store up to 250 photos for free, well if someone knows how to access them let me know..

When I log on through the website, I cannot get passed the screen insisting you buy a plan or continue with limited free storage, even after logging in. Log in through PhotobucketPhotoStorage and it freezes within seconds. It either freezes on the photobucket load screen or right after loading up the home screen. Can’t look at pictures, can’t even try to upgrade (which I very reluctantly tried to do just to see if that would help me access my photos). I’ve been using photobucket for a very long time and I’ve ALWAYS loved it. It was a very quick, easy to use, and well set up website and then when it came out as an app, it was a really decent app.

I would have paid for photobucket if it hadn’t come along with a HUGE decrease in accessibility and functionality. Not only is everything difficult to get to, but the site and app are very slow. What happened to photobuckets quality??

I’ve had photobucket since I was 13, I’m 24 now, used it to put 1000s of photos in storage, I came back to it to grab photos because now I use my Google Drive (WHICH I SUGGEST EVERYONE USE) I’m told I have to pay to get MY photos back from a once free service, so far I’ve gotten the photos I need, (even tho I had to download each individually) but I can’t download my videos, so now I’m thinking of just screen recording every single video and being done with photo buckets service forever. And trust me I didn’t even mention all the other bad problems from too much ads, the crashes, pop ups messages, freezing, duplicate problems, removing you photos without you being able to grab them first. I would’ve considered paying if the service wasn’t so crappy. It was a great run but bye for good photobucket.

Photobucket used to be my thing, I’ve had it for many years. It was a place where you can store pictures and videos for free but now they want to make you pay for it and if you don’t they watermark your photos with a huge photobucket label on them even though the storage was for free before. It’s not a good place to keep your photos and videos stored. Besides that they have so many glitches and it freezes a lot sometimes the photos disappear and I have to look for it in another album if I can find them. I cannot download any of the videos that I have on photobucket or screenshot them because Photobucket doesn’t allow it. It’s extremely frustrating. You would think that being a user for so many years they would grandfather us in and not make us pay just to get our photos back!!!

Not even are you holding my photos for ransom until I pay you $400, but I can't even find a way to download each album to save my pictures from your horrible app. I have to download them one by one???? How do you expect me to do that when I have hundreds of pictures and I'm sure others have thousands. And due to your horrid new terms of service, I have photos on Wattpad that can't be seen by my readers and the only way to make them visible again is to pay your fine. Horrible decision for you guys. As soon as I figure out how to get my pictures off of Photobucket. I'm deleting your crappy app!

I’ve been using photo bucket for maaaaany years ... but I’m new to PhotobucketPhotoStorage . Had PhotobucketPhotoStorage for about a year. I just updated it and now I’ve noticed I can’t make a new folder to organize my photos. I’m really big in organization so if I can’t organize them correctly I refuse to upload. Hopefully they fix the problem. 😥 Also there’s an imaginary button on the top left hand corner that you can press to back out off he screen once you’ve enlarged a photo by simply clicking on it. It took me quite awhile to figure out how to go back to the previous screen ...

18 years worth of pictures sharing on my LJ down the drain. The company changed owner hands. The new owners are probably a bunch of 12 year olds with no sense of business OR integrity. They started blackmailing us sometime around 2017 with OUTRAGEOUS new prices for hosting and held our pictures hostage and you had NO option downloading full albums, so you could not backup your stuff. On and off for a couple of years with blackmailing emails and then weird "bugs". Until they decided to wise up and give some reasonable and affordable options again, with the Beginner Plan. Plus the option to download your albums. So since I have about 11 thousand pictures I thought ok I will accept this price and these conditions. So I started paying AGAIN! Only to trick us AGAIN a year later demanding more money by reducing Beginner Plan to NO HOSTING. I am now trying to download my albums but it seems impossible since they are hostage WITH PHOTOBUCKET mafia yet again. To be fair, The new plans are NOT totally unreasonable. They are alright. But you can NOT change a plan all the while you are getting paid for a service and you don't give the option to old old OLD customers to CHOOSE if they want to pay more or they want to download their albums and end the relationship. No, you suddenly stop hosting all the pictures and you send an outrageous message talking about violation of regulations and bull...t like that. If they would have given me the option and a heads up 2 months prior, I would feel it is ok to pay the extra 7 dollars or whatever. But fooled me once shame on you, fooled me twice shame on me. Who knows what are they going to do next? I do not trust them at all. Save your money do not bother with photobucket.
