I downloaded coParenter in hopes to help streamline some communication and get help in my co-parenting issues. I have had NOTHING but trouble. And to make matters worse my co-parent right off the bat told
Me we couldn’t co-parent via an app and this experience just proved him right!
There is a red indicator telling me I have three messages but I can’t find them anywhere. I submitted a request for help and then coParenter locked me out for three days. When I was finally able to open coParenter there was only one message in the help section that read closed for duplicate. Then this morning I open it and there is another message saying closed for no response.
I am not technically challenged. I manage application development for a living. At best this is not intuitive for the user. At worst it is just plain BROKEN! Co-parenting is stressful and you advertise as a useful, helpful tool and this has been detrimental.

I was excited to find an app that had mediation and would help our difficult coparenting situation. But my husband and I need a joint profile that doesn’t show personal information, like email or phone number for me. We are a parenting unit and want to be equally involved in care of the kiddos and have a single point of contact for all communication with the children’s’ other parent. Please make an update in the future that adds a stepparent profile.

coParenter ended up not being a good fit for the way our co-parenting is structured. However, the customer service is amazing. Other reviews have said the customer service was not great, but the developers must have upgraded. They took the time to find out what wasn’t working for us and made sure we got a full refund. I’m open to seeing what co-parenter comes up with in the future.

Get get feature has been very useful. Expense and check ins have also been a good feature. I would recommend coParenter.

This application is still being improved upon but has so many wonderful things for any coparent or parallel parent needs. It allows for checking in at drop off/pick up and the support is very quick to respond. There is also an option to have neutral assistance if needed. Everything is recorded, including conversations, bills, and other court related items.

I was using coParenter before they re-launched and thought it was way better than anything else. Are used OFW and hated it— switched to this app which has so many more features. But this new app is incredible! Beautiful design – really easy to understand and great mediators who really understand kids! Thanks for putting this out there.

I have been using coParenter for 2 days and so far it has saved me thousands in attorneys fees, mediators, and therapy. The 3rd party was able to calm my ex down and have us come up w rules and boundaries that we both agreed to. Seriously, what took maybe a total of 2 hours solved a whole year of disagreements! I feel like my anxiety and depression were relieved over night! The worst part is that I wish this had been around years ago when I first got divorced. My life would probably be completely different, better late than never though!!!

Only negative, and maybe I can’t figure it out, I wish there was a shared calendar that I could input things without a request being put in.

So much thought was put into coParenter. Clearly the developers understand the triggers that set us off and send us down the wrong path with our ex. Our kids are in such a better place without the phone calls and text battles. Thank you for the fantastic mediators and help in messaging. I’ve learned to tone down my own language thx to coParenter encouraging me to.

I NEVER leave comments, but coParenter goes way, way beyond anything on the market— other apps like OFW and Talking Parents just documenting your communication. this app does that too, but it also lets you create a parenting plan- with the assistance of a live professional! I’d have had to pay a lawyer THOUSANDS to get that done- OR wait for months to see someone at the court. VERY cool— thanks for making this!

coParenter really is amazing. I’m impressed with the amount of thought and foresight that has been put into this. It’s obvious that the developers and creators know what they are doing and know how to make an already difficult situation a little more manageable.

Not only are all the features well-thought out, but they also run smoothly. Great app, I would recommend this to anyone!

I can’t say enough about how tremendously helpful coParenter has been for us. The calendar that clearly lays out holidays, vacations, and who has the kids when, has been great. I love that we have on demand access to a professional to help mediate situations we are unable to agree upon. coParenter is user friendly and really is dedicated to helping families coparent.

Wow, just coParenter I needed! Parenting in itself is tough, but being able to have a mediator on demand and in my pocket is something I never knew I needed until I had it! The subscription is affordable and gives me access to sooo many resources. The UI is friendly and easy to understand and most importantly, I can see my son without any hiccups! Great app, would definitely recommend.

coParenter has been a welcome addition to my life as co-parenting has been challenging to our busy lifestyles. It brings together a lot of tools to one central location that has made so many things simpler for me and my child. coParenter is easy to navigate and has overall streamlined communication and simplified decision processes. I would highly recommend it for anyone regularly on the go, but always has their phone near.

I extremely grateful coParenter exists, as I would have no other way to communicate with my ex in regards to our daughter. The support team went out of their way to help send me a pdf version of all dialogue before a court date twice. The second request was done with only a days notice. They couldn’t be more helpful. What a wonderful gift this is to so many families, especially those in high conflict situations such as mine!

I found a lot of interesting things about coParenter.
I like that there is coaches, mentors , and professional advice right at the tip of your fingers.
I like that I can budget my expenses on each child. Log in the times the other parent or myself take them. You can keep a journal. And you keeps a record of it all it’s documented. Useful to use in court in need to be. It also has articles of different types of topics. Great app

Going through a divorce is traumatic, especially when there are children involved. Dealing with the other parent to figure out parenting time while trying to make sure your children are happy is difficult. I have received advice from the professionals at this app which has helped me tremendously! Their counsel has been truly effective and has made me focus on my children’s needs instead of allowing my emotions to get in the way. I would recommend this app to anyone!!

I love the user friendly interface of coParenter and the fact that I always have access to a mediator or professional when I need it! Easy to use and navigate. I especially love the Geo-check in feature when you pick up your kids and it gets logged.
There are also many helpful articles written by professionals that are a quick read, but packed with very helpful do’s and dont’s regarding creating the best environment for your children during a very difficult time.

I am so glad the Judge had us switch to this one! The ability to have a mediator IN the messages, on your phone/device is amazing. I have used the private coaching to get ideas of how to approach subject and wording, the mediation with my co parent and every single time the Mediators involved are kind, considerate and non biased. I recommend coParenter over another I have used, to anyone, any day- coParenter is easy to document, easy to share expenses and easy to follow messages. 5+ stars for sure!

coParenter has been such an amazing tool to keep our new life running smooth with less headaches. Once you get divorced the life and schedule you once knew all gets tossed up in the air. this app helped me and my ex minimize miscommunications and helped us bring peace to the process for our kid. No more “he said, she said”. It’s all there. From scheduling trips, figuring out who is paying for what, to what weekend and school events need to be coordinated - this is the tool to use. When we had a conflict, we had the support from a mediator to help us make a good decision fast. Can not recommend coParenter enough!

I LOVE coParenter! 10/10 would recommend. It’s obviously not going to solve your issues for you... but for people who are committed to improving their coparenting relationship and are open to change their own behaviors and reactions, coParenter is perfect. It just takes ONE parent to decide they want to improve the relationship for the sake of the child/children and it can dramatically improve your kiddos lives. BE THAT PARENT! Keep trying! It’s reassuring to know that I can always reach out to one of the mediators and have a one on one session and gain feedback that helps. Since using coParenter , I feel like I’m slowly gaining my “peace” back, and that makes it worth every penny!

coParenter has helped my husband and his daughters mother tremendously. However, in home I as a step parent am responsible for calendars, scheduling the and documentation as my husband works full time and doesn’t have the time or energy, therefore I schedule and he takes her to the appointments/activities or we go as a team.

A step parent profile would be very beneficial to work as a team member member profile but with the ability to use all features that the coparents have access to... such as to schedule appointments or activities on the shared calendar as well as having access to all other options as well for documentation with the journal etc. step parents are coparents as well and even though we don’t make parenting decisions on our own, we are a team with our spouse and child and therefore should have access to these things as well.

I cannot recommend this product to anyone based on the flakiness and bugs in this app, and the lack of customer service provided by its staff. Something simple, like putting in the parenting schedule based on the court order they refused to do even after both parties agreed to this. Not sure why we have to Schedule. Tying to deal with these individuals difficult and you can’t talk to anybody live. They hide behind that chat and give you canned reaponses
