CozZoFridgePantryInventory has a couple of major problems. First, when you have an inventory of 100+ items in a space, it is very difficult to find an item. There should be a filter or search on the screen when you are viewing the contents of a particular space. Second, there is a bud with the search on the home screen. The search works well and allows you to view the item — and easily change the quantity. However on this screen you can’t easily move an item to a different space (ex: from fridge to freezer) nor can you mark an item as consumed and add to your shopping list. You have to click the Edit button. Unfortunately, there is a bug in the current version. When you click the Edit button on an item from the search screen, it kicks to back to the home screen. If you try to edit enough times, it will eventually let you in after several attempts. Super frustrating and it makes CozZoFridgePantryInventory just about worthless. What good is spending hours building an inventory, if I can’t update it?

Update: the last release of this product was huge. Addressed all of my issues in my original review. I am also impressed that the developer responded quickly to my review. As a result, I am changing my review to 5 stars and look forward to the continued development of CozZoFridgePantryInventory!

I have been trying to use Cozzo to manage my herbs and spices on an iOS device. First, there is NO library of herbs or spices, you have to type each one in; not a deal-breaker. Second, the available documentation is really really poor. This is made worse by the non-intuitive interface. I have used a lot of applications over the past 30 years and I think Cozzo’s interface is very non-intuitive. Bombined, these two issues are tough for a user to overcome. Third, there are many instances where Cozzo just freezes up — heck, it may me waiting for some input, it is not possible to tell; this is a real deal-breaker. By way of example, I tried to attach an image to a spice entry. I decided, in the middle, to stop but could not. There was NO WAY to back out of this operation. Again, there may be a way, it just was not at all obvious. I hope these folks continue on and fix these types of problems. I would have preferred they do a lit of this BEFORE they released the product, but . . .

CozZoFridgePantryInventory greatly exceeded my expectations. It’s a lot of work to enter your pantry items, your refrigerator items, and your freezer items, but the feeling is so liberating!

What’s more, the exceptionally delicious recipes that CozZoFridgePantryInventory comes up with based on your inventory is a beautiful answer to some of the most common pantry waste problems we face.

After entering our inventory, CozZoFridgePantryInventory came up with over 100 recipes! So far we have tried four recipes that we would have never known and they were absolutely delicious! It takes so much work out of guessing what you’re going to cook, especially when you don’t have much time to plan.

The customer support has been exceptional. I truly believe CozZoFridgePantryInventory is ahead of its time, but it’s also timely for where we are as a nation.

Let’s stop wasting food, over buying, and limiting ourselves in a time crunch to some of the recipes we can recall off the top of our head.

I highly recommend CozZoFridgePantryInventory and am excited about not wasting so much food!

This is arguably the BEST all-in-one app for food that can be found. As of this review, CozZo supports shopping lists, purchased item expiration dates, recipes, leftovers, and meal planning up to 2 weeks ahead. (With a ton more features, but those were my key “must-haves”) Sadly, it doesn’t have nutrition tracking (yet?), so I recommend just using a spreadsheet software for that.

One star is taken off for CozZoFridgePantryInventory crashing every day to few days. Nothing bad, just a minor annoyance.

I waited until I had three weeks use in. I appreciate the help in managing my very deep pantry. It took awhile to inventory mine but am happy I did; I have much better awareness as a result. The receipt scan function was excellent the first two weeks and then stopped working, I will contact support. Farmers market visits of course are more of a manual entry. I am surprised and happy how many barcodes are already in the recognized database, that’s a nice timesaver. After I have more experience with importing recipes I’ll weigh in on that piece.

I really like how easy it is to add items to different inventory categories and to be able to search with barcode scanner. I only just got CozZoFridgePantryInventory and entered in my inventory so waiting to see what else I like and don’t like.

Only drawbacks so far:
- search recipes by inventory crashes app on iPhone and iPad, don’t even know what the results would even look like
- most items I do barcode scan for have unmeaningful names and I have to reword over half the items. Upside it keeps that renamed item for next time

CozZoFridgePantryInventory is pretty good for keeping inventory, but the customizable grocery lists are very good, and much more valuable. The ability to make several lists for separate stores, or even restaurant orders for takeout are wonderful. The below no longer is true, was fixed within a day. Glad that the devs noticed.

Won’t even open anymore with the latest update of iOS. Goes to the loading screen with the logo, then crash to Home Screen.

Purchases should go to whatever location they were last in no matter what list they are on rather than going to kitchen counter.

I love CozZoFridgePantryInventory since it keeps track of your fridge and pantry items. One thing that CozZoFridgePantryInventory does that a lot of others don’t is it automatically tracks the expiration of the foods you enter. It gives you a lot of features out of the box during quick entry but adapts to your usage the more you use it and gives you a natural shopping list of the things you’ve gone through

I had high hopes for CozZoFridgePantryInventory and paid for the household subscription which allows you to have more than one “space” and link with other household members. After taking the time to add items to several different spaces, all of the items I took the time to enter were lost except for the ones in my original space. I believe this may have coincided with an update/subscription change on the backend. Support wasn’t very helpful. I will not be renewing and am looking for alternatives.

Overall a great app with so many tools and features. One disappointment is that it tends to shut down fairly often while I’m using it. Thank you for making CozZoFridgePantryInventory fir us! It has been a tremendous help in managing my food, etc.!

Constantly crashing when trying to take a photo of a product. Getting real irritating given that the two things that got me to go with the paid version are photos and UPC scanning.

There are a lot of features that would make it better, but it’s fine for what it does. We haven’t explored it enough yet though.

Been using CozZoFridgePantryInventory for a while as a free user, but after a big shopping day I tried out the barcode and sharing feature. By far the most practical use I've gotten out of any app.

As a thrifty shopper my goals are to be more organised to save time and money. CozZoFridgePantryInventory saves time by allowing me to organize the shopping list and schedule meals and money by tracking food expiry so that nothing goes to waste.

I spent a long time deciding in which pantry inventory app to download. I chose CozZo because of the ability to take a picture of the receipt and translate that into your pantry inventory. I did not pay attention ti the fact you are only allowed to use this feature 3 times. Not 3 per month or week but 3 times total ever. Needless to say, I feel jipped for buying the year long subscription.

I have been downloading almost every application and I feel that this is one of the better ones. Pros, scanning, easy to add and subtract the number of items

I used to have sever free apps on my phone for keeping tabs on my kitchen and planning for weekly shopping. Now I got this one app and it has all those things plus it works on my Watch - very handy to use in the store.

Whenever I have had a question, their support team has always provided an answer within 24 hours. That kind of app support is hard to find.

My wife uses the scanner of snaps a pic of the items she needs or stuff that we’re running out of and I collect them on the way home. She is perfectly happy to get exactly what she wants instead of my pics :)

I'm sure I'm not using all the features. Love that I can access this when planning meals without getting up and looking through my cupboard!

CozZoFridgePantryInventory has had several issues up till now. This latest release seems to have corrected everything. There support is great. CozZoFridgePantryInventory with the improvements is a must have. Thanks for getting my issues straightened out and making sure we suffered no data loss.

CozZoFridgePantryInventory helped me cut in half my monthly food costs after only 3 months use. We are a family of 4 and we use it all together. Oh, and I finally have nobody complains that something is missing from the fridge...

Very user friendly app! Has a lot of features but they’re easy to learn- the website has a nice reference and also “mini-guides “; the quick start wizards are also great for beginners

Nice lookin app, I can easily organize my shopping by store and find recipes by looking up on the ingredients that i have. No special effort really, it is mostly a tap or two to get stuff done

Doing grocery shopping is so much easier with CozZoFridgePantryInventory. Simple enough and really good at popping only the info that I want to see on the home screen. No ads or other irritating stuff.

Skip this one. Subscription plan is a no go. Also unable to test out the upc scanner is a no go. I have used several apps like this and the upc scanner might work well, it might not. Not going to pay to find out. No, not a ‘free trial’ either. Ill give my money to developers who don’t charge a subscription.

CozZoFridgePantryInventory has it all - shopping lists, inventories, scanner, expiry tracking and other stuff... even recipes. Subscription is well worth the money.

I’ve tried all hi-rated pantry and shopping list apps. This is a new one that does it all in a simple, yet very effective design. I have the premium account and we all use it. Recommended!

Cozzo is the ultimate roommate solution! We are finally on the same page with CozZoFridgePantryInventory, all confusion gone. There is “personal “ lists/ spaces feature for stuff that we want to keep private

I purchased an annual household account so that I could try the scanner - which is locked in free account. When I try to set it up it keeps getting stuck 'preparing account'. Unable to find any information on how to fix this issue other then "still using free account, must set up household account." Very frustrating. Am cancelling account.

stayed with tis one after trying a few. Won me over from first run - it gets your pantry sorted out in a minute with tinder-like cards. Works like charm, excellent reminders, lots of fetures.
