Gearbest Online Shopping Reviews

I just signed up for GearBest, and the prices look great! As for the reviewer that had missing parts, it doesn’t seem like jumping thru hoops. They have to verify that the drones actually had “missing parts”. Anything I buy from businesses on the internet, I always document everything from receipts to receiving the packages. In general, ppl are just dishonest these days. So, it’s completely understandable that GearBest needs video proof that the package(s) were received that way. Take heed, and learn a lesson from this buyer’s review: Always take screenshots or print your receipts, and have video documentation of the package(s) unopened. I document me taking the item(s) out and making sure they work & that they are exactly as described. That being said, it’s not professional to leave a 5* review about a business and saying that it is a scam. I will be placing an order with this company, and I will update my review after that. They have a points system(which I love), and that’s why I rated it 5*.

I made many multiple orders this past January. Delivery always takes at least a month and often times seated longer than that. That customer service tells you whatever you want to hear, but with no results. Descriptions are very misleading and products are low quality. Everything arrives separately and I am still waiting products that I was not told until one month later that they were out of stock and That I need to wait until March before they are even stocked again. (Was never mentioned when I made my purchase). Prices are cheap though, I’ll give them one start for that. One product changed my mind about one hour after the order and was promised by 5 different operators who spoke very poor English on 5 different that I would be refunded, and still have heard nothing. They claim notes have been made internally to refund me, that will not be reflected in my account (nor is it possible to send a confirmation email), but trust them, it is coming that week. Very frustrating and disappointing. First review I have ever written about anything ever. Word.

I saw someone talking about this site and decided to try it out. Let’s just say the prices got me looking and the point system is fairly cool. I accidentally pressed on the “dispatch faster” thinking it would send me to another page for payment but it didn’t lol. So I’m guessing that button is should be pressed when available for optimum speed?

Reason why I gave it 4 stars is because well idk if it’s me (usually is) but the item I wanted to get shipping time “changed” next day after I bought it. Like I said it’s probably my short term memory (hehe) but it’s weird when I think about it. But this place is not half bad. Lots of sales and such as well. I wouldn’t mind the wait if the item you’re looking for is 15-30% cheaper on here then other well known sites.

But I’m sure they’ll get stuff going even more once they get settled in.

Update* haven’t receive item BUT customer support is top notch so I’m sure these guy are all about the customer. Just stick with em till they get settled in.

**Okay stuff finally came and it’s legit stuff. Does take awhile because it’s coming in from China but it is quality stuff. Anyways if I could add a suggestion I would allow atleast one review change. Other then that, if you’re online shopping a lot, check these guys out.

i ordered a couple of drones that and all were missing parts, so i tried to contact customer service 3 different ways, phone call-non exitent, email-no reply, and the website says they have 24/7 live chat-thats a lie! it sends you to facebook messenger and no-one responds for days, i finally got a response telling me to review thier warranty policy, Wanting me to take a picture of the original package unopened, and take a video of the parts that are missing, and I explain to them on their website it said no questions asked if I had any problems but they're making me jump through hoops, I never got replacement parts for the drones, If shipping was so slow over a month I didn't think I was ever going to get my items I ordered, stay away from GearBest

These people are complete scammers. I made an order for less than $15. It was supposed to ship within 7-15 business days. I waited for 2 months and it still didn’t ship. I messaged them multiple times asking where my order was. They said they the things I ordered haven’t been made yet. Why would you let people buy it if it hasn’t been produced yet??? They asked me to be a little more patient. Also there is a button in your orders that says, “dispatch faster.” What is that?? Why do I have to press a button everyday to make you ship my order faster? After the amount of time I waited and my order still wasn’t shipped, I asked for a refund. They refunded me. I will never buy something from here again. This is total bull****. Please do not give these people your credit card number and money. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. Look up “is Gearbest a scam” on google. You’ll find all the information you need. Shame on you, Gearbest.

When I discovered Gearbest I was looking for an item that would have been very expensive in the US. The item was great quality and actually outlasted one purchased for much more.
I continued to peruse the website and was absolutely smitten when they added GearbestOnlineShopping .
My alerts come in for items I buy frequently. During COVID I ordered every type of mask they had - found a few that I swore by. The masks have been purchased several times as they are my favorite. They are always in stock - I have not had to return anything or wait an extended amount of time for my package - I trust they will deliver and they always do.

Where do I begin. I ordered two items back in May, never received them, world pandemic and whatnot and I understand all of that. The problem starts when you actually ask them to refund you. The customer service is awful and however you try to explain your problem they doesn’t seem to understand you. One of the sellers refunded me in the meantime while the other one closed shop in the meantime and Gearbest after arbitration of two and a half months concluded they decided that the package was sent and I was at fault for not having left the correct address. I tried to explain them that I already purchased other items from the platform and never had problems before but that doesn’t seem to bother them. So that’s it, I decided to give up on my 17$ but I’m gonna trash them whenever I can

When I started using this site it had mostly positive ratings, I have now come to realize that those reviews were probably all purchased. My first order was terrible quality, a product with a high rating that was worthless in every way. Still I love gadgets and thought the site was legit and placed an order for 3 things, only two showed up. After wrestling with the sites horrible Interface and terrible customer service they gave me credit for the missing piece. I was stupid enough to order again to use my credit and the package shipped to the wrong address, after it was shipped back to them they did not refund me and wasted almost 2 months of my time making me think I might get my order or money back. Thieves. Don’t waste your time. Everything here can be ordered for the same price somewhere safer.

Often GearbestOnlineShopping celebrates deals to encourage purchasing. However, all the gimmicks in GearbestOnlineShopping promote an illusion of possible better deals. GearbestOnlineShopping works as good as it is supposed to and is a lot like the website. Just don’t expect to actually be a winner of some of the daily chances unless THEY want you to purchase a particular item. When a deal sounds too good to be true, it usually has fine print, short expiration, limitations, or 1 coupon available in the world. Spin again multiple days with 6 objects on a wheel, 3 tries a day, landing the only loser space and every time told “winners never give up”. I can not recommend Gearbest. Disingenuous!

This site does not have any better deals that I can find in my country of the United States. You can't use points on flash sale items, which are the same price I can get here...why even have points? Also, their customer service is horrible. They give you the run around on every order that I've had a problem with and that is very many. Don't get me started on their shipping and delivery. Let's just say I have an order that I've been waiting for over 3 months to receive and customer service tells me to wait...that's even after their delivery date estimate. I thought this place was sorta decent at first but now... I will never use them again. I wish the Better Business Bureau would get involved.

All the content in the reviews are from users, but the ratings are all get tempered by Gearbest system admin, or whoever manages GearbestOnlineShopping . And they can’t be edited after you submitted the reviews, which is so wrongly designed.
Do not just filter your searching by the ratings. Read through all the reviews to find or decide if the products are worth to buy.
I rate the company 4 stars for having so much selections and fair pricing. 2 star for rating system.

This site is great for a lot of things Xiaomi. If you don’t know Xiaomi, they manufacture a lot of consumer electronics for a lot of big companies. They also have their own brand of items. Gearbest usually has the best price on Xiaomi items. They also have items from other companies but not a wide selection. Yes shipping will take a long time as the items are coming from Asia. However the items are usually less expensive and the shipping cost is low.

Awful! Do not purchase from gearbestshopping!! They are scammers... ordered product, still showing processing & it’s been a long time since order. Contacted customer service and received no response. Don’t fall for their extremely low prices. It IS to good to be true and they are stealing money. Go google their reviews. Many unsatisfied customers. Complaining of super delayed shipment, others say when shipment finally arrived product did not work, then to top it off gearbestshopping did NOT give a refund. HORRIBLE customer service. I REGRET ATTEMPTING TO do business with these people.
UPDATE: we have attempted emails- no response. We have attempted the phone number listed on website & the phone number send us to a childcare facility. No joke!!

Okay so I downloaded GearbestOnlineShopping to buy one thing. And I had so much trouble with the seller and customer service it was a headache and ridiculous. I wound up have to dispute the charge from my bank. Along side this purchase I also purchased a few other things. I’m gonna be lenient with the shipping times because of recent pandemic. (It took 4 months to arrive) But the quality of the items I ordered were not up to par for the price I paid. One this I ordered arrived broken and I had to jerry-rig it back together. Overall don’t waste your money, time, and added stress on GearbestOnlineShopping. As soon as my order FINALLY arrived I deleted GearbestOnlineShopping because I never wanted to use it again.

Used to order from GearBest all the time. Recently attempted to purchase an item that cost several hundred dollars. Processing was taking too long, so I asked for a refund and order cancellation. Which has never been a problem in the past. Over a process of 5 days and 9 requests so far for the order to be cancelled, they’ve stalled, pretended to not understand my request, and have yet to cancel my order. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with them and they have seemed to only get worse over the last few years. Even if I’m able to get my money back, there’s no way I’d spend anymore money with them. One star only because I couldn’t give zero.

There are scammers getting shelter on this platform and Gearbest does not seem to take action. Reason why I say that is, it’s been over one and half months I have ordered from couple of sellers and I have not received it yet, I cannot reach out to the seller, no response, tracking number provided is wrong and costumer service is unreachable. I know current worldwide situation and understand things can be delayed, that is not the case here.

I understand there will be scammers on every platform, however sad thing is Gearbest is design for a seller. Seller have the upper hand. Buy your product and feel free to wait for ever.

I have a order toys April was Delivery date is May 9 but still on the way I don’t receive it in my order every time I contact customer service I ask where is my order they always answer Sam please wait another couple day no I wait till almost 2 months still not kidding me this is a terrible Orion shopping mall never never using again after I want to cancel this either still not cancer told me too much to do this online shopping mall I still waiting for my order or cancel but They don’t do anything for me terrible terrible on using this Very stressed

You can get chat support to order item but there is no customer service available after you have made your purchase. They will keep sending you same email again and again to submit photo and model number of items and ask you to review return policy. Although they sent me wrong items they kept doing it. I had to go through credit card dispute and went through lots of hassle to get my money bank via credit card dispute. GearBest didn’t do anything to help me. Do not buy from this seller, pay little higher price but buy from somewhere else.

I've been purchasing items through gearbest for over 5years now and it's an outstanding company. I've only had one minor issue with them in all that time. I find some of the best deals when they have sales. I'd highly recommend this site for anyone with RC's, anything from Quadcopter's to Planes and even camping supply's. They have lots of other stuff too. Try them you won't regret it.

I work around chemicals and the pandemic arose. Finding mask became almost impossible. I looked a painters mask and one from GearBest was a third lower in price, but once looking at it on the sight. They seemed to be a better quality than what I have bought in pastas local hardware stores. It took a while for it to be delivered, but I’m totally satisfied customer. Highly recommend this sight.

Prices are great during sales and promotions. Items sometimes are delivered within a couple weeks, and other times a shipment may not include a couple items (due to insufficient inventory) and will be marked as "Partially shipped." Rarely does a package go completely missing. The window for missing items and orders is about 6 weeks and Gearbest is very reasonable with reimbursing the purchase price of any and all items that aren't delivered, which is the major factor for why I keep using their services. Just don't buy anything you need anytime soon and you will be fine.

The application needs more enhancements in terms of tracking the orders, live support should be within GearbestOnlineShopping not using messenger as third party app, online support not 24/7 as they said, logistics carriers with limited options, sometimes when place an order contains 1 item using different shipping method the whole order limited and force you to use this shipping method and other options become unavailable, when you remove it from the order other shipping methods become available! At all the application below the average

I placed three different orders and only received one. The second never shipped and more than a week later I was given permission to cancel the order. The last order was for more than $300 and I have not received it, they will not cancel it, and they will not give a refund. They say that they are planning to ship a replacement but it has been 6 weeks and I still have nothing even though I was told it would be delivered within 10 days.

Now I am working with my credit card to get their help to get my money back.

Terrible!!
