BISSELL Connect Reviews

I have GREAT internet connection in my area. When the machine wouldn’t go into an area of my living room, I turned it off, picked it up to place it there. I set down, turned it on, went to press ‘play’ on BISSELLConnect & BISSELLConnect actually froze my apple pro max 12. I couldn’t turn it off to restart & my phone didn’t recognize my charger when I plugged it in whilst waiting for to unfreeze. The only thing showing was the BRISSELL logo before it goes into BISSELLConnect . I started to feel very scared about my phone… thankfully my phone eventually started up again.

I plan on calling BRISSELL the morrow to find out how to open the little bin because directions say it should be open by pulling the bit apart w/ your hands & not pressing anything, yet it won’t. I’m going to ask them about BISSELLConnect issues & if there is anyway to get the machine to move all over my apartment w/out having to painfully help guide it. One had to do so 4xs. I wiped off the sensors & made sure there wasn’t any debris in the wheels… still have to guide it.

At the moment, it’s on mop mode & after guiding it to go into the dinning & kitchen area… I’m leaving it to do it’s thing & I’m just going to see what it does on its own.

I would really like a lot more information in BISSELLConnect . To start with, I’d like to know how charged the battery is. I’d say that was a pretty common and basic need. I’d also like a map of the robot’s location as well as the ability to turn the robot on or off with BISSELLConnect . When I set the schedule, I expected it to come on at the scheduled time. It didn’t and the power was turned on. It would also help to know an estimation of the power that each level of cleaning takes. The first time I set it to max and it only covered half my bedroom. The next night I set it to lo and it covered the whole room. That’s quite a difference. Also the instructions are not always very helpful. I had the devil of a time opening the dry vac box. I kept thinking that I was going to break it if I pulled too hard. Finally it opened and, after that, it opened easily. Some instructions on where to pull it open would help. I still like the vacuum, but, like I said, BISSELLConnect , not so much.

This is an absolutely great app that I that I use to control my robot vacuum cleaner. It has all the features that you would like in a robovacuum cleaner but it would be really nice if you were able to stop the beeping on the robot from BISSELLConnect when the robot gets stuck. My robot is constantly getting stuck and emits a very annoying beeping noise that I can’t turn off unless I physically go turn it off on the robot, it gets annoying and tedious with how much my robot gets stuck. If I were able to at least stop the beeping from BISSELLConnect it would be a 5/5

Here is my nightly scenario, fill the robot with water to mop the floors make sure everything is fine. Go to bed fall asleep, then wake to a nonstop beeping that goes on for an hour straight. I live in a big house and it’s a long walk from the bedroom to the kitchen where the mop is running. I have three Eufy vacuum robots for other parts of the house and when they have problems they just beat for a short period of time then stop. This mop will beep for an hour straight and it’s loud. Wakes the entire house up. And it happens very frequently. There needs to be a way to disable the alarm or acknowledge the alarm from BISSELLConnect

This is my first time going out on a limb with a robotic vacuum. As a blind person, many people had suggested I consider one. I can see how one made specifically for pet could benefit someone with a service dog.

Unfortunately, BISSELLConnect is almost completely inaccessible to a user reliant on a screen reader. Initially, I was excited to see it worked with the built in VoiceOver screen reader built into all Apple products. I grew disappointed as the screen stopped being readable by the screen reader. After getting assistance completing setup, BISSELLConnect itself is completely unresponsive to the screen reader.

This confuses me, as BISSELLConnect is simple. More complex apps work flawlessly. I had expected a product like this to support a community that would be able to rely on this sort of technology.

I would love to see an update that allowed everyone to use their products via the smart phone app.

This thing is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I don’t think I’ve ever gone this long with out physically sweeping/mopping my floors ever. I may have forgotten how to use a stand up vac all together. Haha. Who needs to know that when I’ve got this amazing BISSELL to do it for me. 10/10 would recommend!

BISSELLConnect is so frustrating because it logs you off and your login takes a few tries before it works. The website login works fine. The vacuum is fine but the wet mode runs out of cleaning liquid fast and the dry mode just runs over everything. It doesn’t seem smart other than avoiding cliffs. I wish there was an option to send the bissell to the charging station when the cleaning fluid is low. Also the trash collected for wet mode is hard to clean.

2 weeks ago I bought one of the bissell 320 air filters or what not. Its not something that needs an app luckily but I was wondering what kind of information is shared on it. When I went to download BISSELLConnect and attempted to log in, the doom spinner showed up everytime. I tried with google, apple, bissell, everything except facebook and it wont let me in. I gave up. A week or so later, today, I tried again. No change, still broken. I hope they get this fixed, it’s literally useless if you cant log in.

For the record, I have the latest iPhone. It’s not my phone that’s the issue.

Hope you’re not in a hurry to communicate with your vacuum, because you’re going to spend five minutes loading this poorly done app and another five waiting for it to connect to your vacuum. Maybe I’d give it another star if you could actually use BISSELLConnect to steer, or turn off the vacuum, or do something useful besides hit run or pause.

What a joke. My teenaged nephew could put together a better app in an afternoon.

Because it keeps disconnecting from my WiFi, I can’t start it from BISSELLConnect and can only start it up after manually starting it.

When I do get it to work from BISSELLConnect , I have to log out and re-register the device all over again which is hella annoying. I also don’t like that you can’t trouble shoot BISSELLConnect when things aren’t working or get notified that it finishes cleaning or is stuck like my other cleaner, Roomba. Please fix.

I have 4 dogs who shed awful and the BISSELL cleans my floors amazingly, I really like the fact that I can set a schedule from my phone app and let it do its thing. It has no problem going room to room. I would recommend this product to everyone.

Reviewing in relation to using the air purifier: I’m disappointed with BISSELLConnect. First of all, it can’t connect to my air purifier every time I open BISSELLConnect . I have to tap on the purifier multiple times to get it to connect. Secondly, I can’t believe I can’t schedule night mode or fan speeds. I’d like to set it to auto during the day, then late afternoon / early evening set the speed to the lowest level. This should be a simple feature, but it doesn’t existing.

I love BISSELLConnect and it is really convenient. You can switch between dry mode and wet mode. Just wish BISSELLConnect would send a push notification when the vacuum is stuck (always gets stuck under my couch)

This has been the best Mother’s Day gift of all time. Having the floors clean all the time on the main level has been great. There’s exactly enough battery life to sweep for an hour which gets the job done.

BISSELLConnect has been easy to navigate so far. Seems helpful except BISSELLConnect displays the vacuum as being docked when it is currently running. I’ve only seen offline/docked as the two options so not sure if that’s intended by the developers or not. Seems odd to say docked while it is running.

I’ve owned two different vacuum robots and both of them had directional controls almost like a remote control car which made it easy to clean up spots I bought a Bissell spin wave robot and yes it does have a spot cleaning option but it just spins in a circle sometimes a spot goes into a corner or a crack and you wanted to go over it multiple times if you do add a directional setting in BISSELLConnect I will definitely rewrite my review thank you

Best thing I’ve ever gotten myself, I use a big vacuum but not nearly as much now that I have two down stairs and I’ve riviclean mop and vacuum upstairs..AWESOME! I know these will help once I start working as a pre-teal.

BISSELLConnect works most of the time. But it often signs me out and loses all history when I sign back in name (including name of bot)

The cleaning robot itself is quite dumb, for lack of a better word. Often gets stuck trying to climb over or go through an obstacle it should just try to avoid after first contact.

Far inferior to iRobot models.

I really enjoy not having to sweep everyday. But I wish it could map out my apartment. The battery also dies quickly, it only lasts about 2 hours and can’t find its way back to the charging dock.

Works great but in several occasions when I use the docking feature on BISSELLConnect it takes too long to execute and won’t dock. I suspect it may be the Wifi signal. Please advice, thank you

Update: It’s December 7. Received same canned response from developer and decided to try app again. Spinning wheel appear and it took a while before it asked me to sign in again. I did and BISSELLConnect seems now to be working. All cleaning history and information it’s there.

Original: It’s Dec 2 and BISSELLConnect it’s still not working. Stuck in the spinning wheel. I’ve read developer responses that say there was a brief outage and everything should be back to normal. It’s not. Hesitant to reinstall BISSELLConnect and have to set up everything again since connecting the vacuum to WiFi is a bit of a pain.

I haven’t even had my BISSELL spin wave for more than 2 weeks, every single time I get on BISSELLConnect it crashes!! I’ve tried uninstalling it, and it still won’t let me sign in! It keeps saying that I don’t have an account ( I do). This is absolutely ridiculous!

Also, the spin wave can’t even clean, it has no idea where to go, it can’t stay in a straight line, and doesn’t even get spots that are in the open! I do not recommend this robot to anyone! If BISSELL wants to sell robots like I robot, they better step up they’re game! I’m returning this spin wave!

This is a bummer I like bissell products, I didn’t think to check to see if they had a reliable app though now I have the spin wave robot but no app to use it or set it to a schedule😢 if I can’t get BISSELLConnect up I’m returning the product for a different one that has an app that works !!

BISSELLConnect does not work and I cannot connect the SpinWave to BISSELLConnect . I called customer service and they were unable to help me. They said I need most recent version of BISSELLConnect and as far as I see on App Store I have the most recent version that was released 1 week ago. Product would be worthless without BISSELLConnect working and I will be returning it if Tech Support does not call me back within 24hrs to fix this issue.

Great product that works really well but without BISSELLConnect it’s useless.

I love my spinwave but would not suggest anyone purchase it until BISSELLConnect is fixed. BISSELLConnect claims today that I don’t have an account (I do) and will only work ~10% of the time.

I have found that in order to change the schedule or see what my vacuum is doing I need to uninstall and reinstall BISSELLConnect every single day. Then I can successfully (sans today apparently) log in for about 5 minutes before it crashes again.

Upon first download I tried creating an account with Google login and BISSELLConnect froze multiple times. I gave up. Tried manually creating an account directly with BISSELL. BISSELLConnect says it can’t connect to servers.
I force closed BISSELLConnect and when I open it now, BISSELLConnect thinks I have an account but all the information is empty and BISSELLConnect chokes on gathering the data. Disappointed so far.

I uninstalled and installed again. Still broken. I can’t sign up.

I just received my Spinwave Robot in the mail today and have been trying to set it up. Tried downloading app on my phone and signing up and tried on the website, but neither will allow me to create an account. I’ve called customer service and they have stated that it is down. Seems like everyone else is having this issue as well. I’m hoping it gets fixed soon. I don’t want to have to return it.

How can such a big company pit out an app that’s so crappy? I can’t even sign in! I’ve tried creating an account, using google, Facebook and Apple and I can’t even get past this part of the set up because of some error. How can I trust that the product is reliable when BISSELLConnect can’t manage to let me create an account? I’m honestly probably going to take this back based on my app experience alone, not impressed with the product if I cant set it up.....

My product just arrived as a present for my mom and after reading all the reviews and trying it for myself, everything has run smoothly so far and it’s pretty easy to navigate.

Updating to 5 stars since they did fix the signing up issue which was the only issue with BISSELLConnect ! BISSELLConnect is very smooth actually and works great

I haven’t fired her up yet but the unboxing was cool. I have the older corded model and it worked wonders with just the one brush and filter. Multiple pets, hardwood floors make for some nasty messes. I enjoy cleaning... your surroundings reflect your state of mind.

App literally serves no purpose. I encountered error codes on my crosswave cordless max and it couldn’t even tell me what was wrong with it.

BISSELLConnect is nothing more then a useless data tracker that back-feeds data to bissel about how much you use your appliance.

They don’t waste any opportunity though to hawk their garbage solution or overpriced filters by trying to tell you when you should replace them with reminders to your phone.

Complete useless app, don’t even give them the satisfaction of harvesting your data or connecting your device. There is absolutely no perk to doing so. I’ve never in my life seen a more worthless useless app. It’s not even worth the data to download. GARBAGE!!!

I love my new Bissell Crosswave, but everything else isn’t working. BISSELLConnect won’t connect to Bissell, that means the WiFi setup for the device will not work. And when I click “App Support” on the iOS app page from the web store the Bissell page also shows an error for something gone wrong. Please help and fix all this mess ASAP.

Nothing like a tracker to remind me to vacuum! It’s a great addition to my cleaning routine.

Additionally, when I had a small issue connecting my device I called customer service and they went above and beyond to assist me.
