Not bad

I actually find many of the articles in Costco's magazine quite interesting; they're kept short and informative.
As for TheCostcoConnection, I dont see some of the issues other folks complained about - the current issue was right there, and I was offered a free subscription so I assume that it will download the next issues when they are available.
I don't quite get why there are two ways of presenting the material though - a scan of the magazine and a ad-less page per article (where btw. the text size function appears to be inoperative). Why not have just one PDF-based (i.e. fully text searchable) version that looks the same as the magazine? I also think that a nice touch up would be a page turn effect which I have seen in other e-book/magazine apps.
But by and large TheCostcoConnection works for me, and it's free content so I'm not complaining, only suggesting.

Works Well

TheCostcoConnection works well on my iPhone X.

I love the fact that I can click on the magazine’s Table of Contents and be taken to an article.

The magazine can be viewed in pdf-like Page View or in Text View. The Text View, however, takes a long time while “Loading…”. Going back to Page View works instantly.

While in Text View, the “Share” button for an article renders well the first time, but it displays blank titles in subsequent attempts.

While in Page View, however, sharing an article via text worked perfectly.

Lousy Search Engine

In an attempt to get away from hard copies, I was trying to search Pear and Pumpkin Protein Smoothie for an online link. I couldn’t even get close, including quotes around the search. I left TheCostcoConnection and used google from my browser.

Since my iPhone needs space, TheCostcoConnection has to go.

Won’t save issues for later reading

TheCostcoConnection works well as a reader, but will not currently save issues for later reading...whether the current issue or back issues

Quit working Feb 2019

Glad they still send the print version because this just quit working! It is a month behind when it does work.

Recent Loading Problem

Since the middle of January, the e-magazines DO NOT LOAD.

If it’s unusable, it doesn’t get a star.

But to send the comment, you have to give one star. That’s the ONLY reason there’s one star.

Current issue

It's May 19th. Where is the May issue? I'd like to see current feature items.

Non functioning app

Implores you to “subscribe for free” then pop ups state “in app purchases not available “ rendering app useless unless you enjoy perusing thumbnails of the covers from past issues.

Why do you only send to my roommate?

I have been a member before you even started with the magazine and yet I have Never received one. This is unfortunate.

Does not save issues

App now downloads issue each time it is launched. No support available.

HORRIBLE

Constantly tries to shove videos down you throat when all i want to do is browse thru the catalog. Trying to go green is impossible with the idiots that wrote TheCostcoConnection. DELETED!!

Issues with download install

I have tried to install TheCostcoConnection but some how i am not able to install

Support please help

Bring back the old format

I absolutely dislike the new format of the magazine. The old format was cute and beautiful.

Not working

It won’t download the February edition and selecting app support sends you nowhere helpful. Needs attention!

iPad app ?

Even tho it says it has an iPad version, all I get is the iPhone version. Fix please!
