I ordered my Fox Rental car online in December 2020. I went to pick up my rental car in Miami in April 2021. When I arrived at Fox rental car (about 6 miles from the airport), there was a long line. Everyone was complaining about not getting the car they requested and being charged additional money. While in line, I went to the website and it said to call to cancel. I called and was on hold for almost an hour. I decided to go to another car rental place to get a car. I have never been able to communicate (online, email, phone) with anyone at Fox about a refund. I was charged for something I never used. Save yourself the aggravation and go with another company!

Doesn’t allow you to ‘find’ a reservation booked via another travel app, only directly through Fox so really doesn’t help much. Also credit card scan never worked (trying 4 different cards with various lighting and background conditions). Manually entering card freezes on name, once name entered and applied can’t proceed to any other field. Given app is useless and line at car pickup at LAX is literally over 100 people long (I counted as I’m standing here) I will NOT be renting from Fox again. It was only $2 a day cheaper than the stand right next to us that had 3 people in line. Sooooo not worth it!

I just got off the phone with customer service for Fox rental car, he insisted it clearly states it’s only for LAX and San Jose. No, it does not. It doesn’t say anything about it. But FOXpress is only for those two cities. Why? I have no idea. I will tell you that the Fox rental are the rudest people in the rental car industry. He also insisted there are two separate apps, one for Fox rental and one for this app. Again, he is wrong, no there are not. He just kept repeating the same thing over and over and over again. Meanwhile, I’m looking at FOXpress as we spoke. Completely pathetic

Since I was standing in a long line at the counter waiting anyway, I decided to try FOXpress despite the bad reviews. I was able to create an account and scan in my drivers license, which populated correctly. However, after doing that, FOXpress couldn't find my reservation. AND- there is now way to search for it by the reservation number. Waste of my time.

Don't get of line thinking FOXpress will help!

All I want is to be able to view my reservation in FOXpress . I am not interested in signing up to be a member to do that. FOXpress wants you to fill out all of your address, birthday info and upload your license. That’s a lot of personal info just to see your reservation details, and FOXpress is so poorly designed, I have a hard time trusting the information I give will be kept safe.

I am trying to use FOXpress but it is not user friendly at all.

After putting in my personal information it could not find the reservation that I had booked online.

I thought maybe if I added my credit card info that FOXpress might then make the connection. However, some of the fields in the credit card section were unresponsive. I tried (and tried again) to use the scan feature but it never captured anything despite the green frame indicating it was aligned correctly.

FOXpress needs more helpful hints and instructions and/or it needs to actually intuitively function properly.

What is the point of FOXpress? You can’t see existing reservations. Very basic. Shouldn’t have expected much when you see the last update was 1yr ago. I understand you are a budget rental company, but come on add a useful app and make it easier to reserve a car and look at your reservations. Until they you will consistently get negative feedback from everyone who downloads this junk.

After reading the other reviews I had to try it. Plus I wanted to avoid the long lines described. I did manage to log into an account I previously created. After several attempts, did manage to scan my DL. But then it could not find my reservation. Tried to put in my address and encountered an error and that was the end of it. My kid could probably create a better app.

I trusted them because of Priceline-big mistake. Excessive fees upon return. A $270 car rental turned into a $600 rental. Unlimited miles turned into a mileage fee of $170. The man behind the counter in Miami acted like he hated being there. Another couple that rode back to the airport said the same thing, they were scammed into a $400 up charge in insurance. Be careful. This is why I rent with Enterprise. If zero stars were an option...

Could not get it to load my reservation on FOXpress , even though I made my reservation through FOXpress . Customer service then told me it was one reason after another, until they finally found one of a dozen things that they said I hadn’t done. It was them just trying to find any reason because they didn’t know.

I have 2 upcoming reservations and they are no where to be found in FOXpress . You can’t even search my confirmation number. The reviews of FOXpress are terrible and justly so. What a piece of junk. This is the first time I renting from Fox and I am scared the entire experience will be like this. I think I’ll book a backup for my second trip just in case.

App doesn’t work! When you try to join, when you take a picture of your license, it changes your address to *DEMO*, then won’t let you join because of an invalid address! Worthless. If I could give less than one star, I would!

They have signs everywhere promoting FOXpress and to skip the lines, etc. only problem is you can't actually sign up on FOXpress . It keeps going into "DEMO" mode or just completely acts like I didn't scan my license images in. Can't get past the initial sign up screen.

Tried to upload my information to speed up getting my rental car. Scanned in my info and it went to “Demo” mode. Would not allow me to enter in my valid info.

Tried logging into my account and app kept saying my password was wrong, even though it wasn’t. I triple verified my login info from my laptop. Even tried to reset my password but the that option was not clickable. Ugh!!

I’m having similar issues signing up in FOXpress . I can add my ID and scan the back, but then it forces me to choose ID country and state, which then erases all of the information I filled in. Tried three times. This is not a good app experience.

Can search & reserve, but can’t scan back of my license, so I can’t start rental using FOXpress , which means I still have to wait in long lines

The counter guys get paid off insurance. You tell them what you want and they give you what they want. I’ll never rent from there again

Useless app. Can’t even add a booking confirmation to my account. Have to call them which you can only get through to a human if you are renting a car and that is a 25-55 minute hold time.

It’s scans my driver’s license, but nothing more. Cannot scan my credit card. Could not find my current reservation. Why did they even bother?

After the pain of registering all information, it didn’t find my reservation. No way to search for it rendering FOXpress useless and me waiting in line.
