Writing this while standing in an absurdly long this app line at McCarran airport which would probably be a lot shorter if Dollar actually did anything useful like - shocking idea - enabling you to check in. It doesn’t. It’s not really even an app - the only thing functional in it is a link to the this app web site - which throws an error. I don’t know what’s more disturbing - that this app (Hertz) actually offers this as an “app” or that Apple allowed it to be published. If it were possible to give it negative stars, I would. Don’t bother downloading this.

This honestly is the most useless app ever created. It provides utterly no value to the user. I generally don’t use this app anyway because they’re very hard to deal with and Dollar basically supports that. Don’t bother downloading Dollar. I use Enterprise and other rental car companies a lot and their apps are amazing and you can do anything on them. But this really is a piece of crap. You can’t even look up a reservation. I wish I could give Dollar negative 10 stars. The fact that you can’t link this to your this app account is ridiculous.

I would give it 0 stars if I could, because literally the only option Dollar gives you is “go to our website.” Like what is the purpose of an app if you can’t do anything? If I wanted to go the website, that’s where I would’ve gone, Dollar had my information stored, the website doesn’t. Messaged this app on Facebook and the response is “we aren’t updating Dollar .” So why even have Dollar available? Remove Dollar or update it.

What value does Dollar actually give to a user? Nothing you can’t do using a browser and email. I was expecting to enter my Express Membership information and Dollar would become my portal into this app’s system for managing reservations, etc. Instead, it’s just a way to search for reservations just as you can do in a browser. To store an existing reservation, you have to manually enter in the 11-digit confirmation number. What’s the point?

Awful app. Don’t waste your time. Provides no info. I made a reservation on my laptop, then I downloaded Dollar onto my phone. It automatically directed me to the “Beta Test App” and there is no place to enter my confirmation number so that I could confirm my booking. From what I can see, the ONLY thing you can do with the mobile app is make a new reservation. Useless. I removed Dollar from my phone.

I book many reservations up to a year in advance for work or travel. I like Dollar for keeping all of my reservations in one place in the “my reservations” tab. There is a message that pops up now saying “Tap to try our new test mobile site”

Please remove it! I cant access my reservations with the message in the way.

Dollar is absolutely useless. Unable to login, unable to book a car. It is quite possibly the worst app I have ever wasted time downloading. You would think this app would want to take advantage of a possible revenue stream like this, but apparently they are still stuck in the 90’s… Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time even trying Dollar.

I literally cannot imagine how any app could be worse than this one. I would give it zero stars, if that option were available. First of all, many of the functions don’t even work with my iPhone 8. Second, the functionality of what does work is horrible. Third, the general design of Dollar is also abysmal. Don’t waste your time with Dollar.

I wish I could give Dollar negative 5 stars.
So basically Dollar hangs almost immediately and just points you to a beta web page.
Do us all a favor and remove Dollar completely. It has zero value in its current form.
For anyone looking for a car rental company that has a usable mobile application, you really need to look elsewhere.

Dollar is useless. Why even put it out there? It’s frustrating and completely disrespectful of your customers. Wasting our time like you do at your counters. Nowhere on your website or App do you look for feedback or provide help. You clearly don’t give a care of any kind. Just money and zero pride. Completely unacceptable.

Am this app Express member and used to get in and out of Denver in 5 minutes. No this app Express and have been standing in line for 1.5 hours. Called customer Service twice and both times got disconnected after 25 minutes of holding. Downloaded Dollar to try and get help and not one single button on Dollar works.

Useless, piece of garbage app. All you can do is go to their website, and their website stinks on hot ice from a mobile device.

I will NOT rent from Thrifty or this app, because if they can’t get something as simple as an app right, they probably can’t get the more complicated car rental service right.

They are dead to me.

Dollar is the most useless that I have on my phone. Before the most recent update, you could not see a list of your prepay reservations. Now with the most recent update, you can’t use Dollar at all. Dollar speaks volumes for your company. If you can’t even get an app right, you most certainly can’t rent cars very well.

Dollar use to be great. Now all you can do is click the link to the mobile beta website which isn’t great.

In Dollar I had access to all my reservations on my history current and old and much easier and faster to reserve cars.

Please fix Dollar .

As soon as I opened Dollar after downloading it, it immediately came up with some bar across the middle of Dollar telling me to use their website. Deleted Dollar and tried again. No change, exact same issue. Can’t do anything with Dollar. Totally worthless.
