Missing item from your order but never responded

If you purchase items from H mart, you must be aware of that you may receive your order with some missing items but never receive any response from the store. I have used the online h mart for years but recently the mart became the worst online grocery store. There was a missing item from my recent order, so I tried to contact them to tell them that I received a package of my order but one item was missing. First, on its website, no phone number is provided at all. Only request through the website. I filled the request form and waited for a week, but no response. I requested again but no response. I never received any of their reply to my requests for weeks. On HMartAsianGroceryMarket, a phone number is provided for customers to contact. However, when I called, it asked me to wait for the next available person for me that is usual thing. After exactly 2 minutes , my call was automatically terminated because it says no one is available now.

Customer Disappointed

I find the pot I want to buy but I need 2. they just have one display and I asked somebody help me. i grab the staff and ask him but he say I have to wait somebody will come back after lunch. and I wait for 20 minutes and nobody coming. I go around and find out a lot of pots at the corner but I can’t see the hand holding in on the lid. I take two pots to the customer service and ask them “Somebody can find the hand holding on the lid for me” and what they say “wait for the manager come back from lunch or meeting something” What??? Just want to buy 2 pots??? Have to wait for 2-3 hours and no staff take care the customer. I shop at H mart at 1:30pm the time that wasn’t busy. I am so disappointed!

Updated my app and lost my previous smartcard rewards

After I updated my app after so many years, I thought it would be a great experience with using the smart card to check out. When I log back in my account, all of my rewards are back to zero. It was not a good experience when I shop at H mart near my home all the time.

Non existent CS

Can’t add credit card. Get error every time. I verified info, tried on 2 PCs and 2 iPhones. Waited on hold for 30 mins on their fake CS phone number. Emailed and they never replied. I don’t know how they can get away with having customer service that is this bad. They are too cheap to hire anyone or fix problems with their site and app. Run, don’t walk away from this one…

This app needs some serious optimization

I’m not sure why I can’t register for a rewards card on the website and need to download HMartAsianGroceryMarket , because HMartAsianGroceryMarket is horribly optimized. It’s buggy, hard to navigate and no matter how many times I try, I can’t register a card. Please just let us use the website because this is app is embarrassing

Terrible, terrible update

I am not shopping online for Korean groceries. The updated app requires me to scroll and click every single item to see the prices - it does not provide an easy access to the handy weekly ad flyers anymore. I guess they want to focus more on online shopping and they are fine with losing offline customers to Zion market.

App doesn’t let you place order

I tried so many times, trying different cards, but it gives me the same error message when I try to place the order. “Something happened, try again later.”

Useless app if you can’t check out. And the cart doesn’t show up in the web when you login, so that’s also frustrating.

Seriously! This app is a garbage

H Mart is great, but HMartAsianGroceryMarket seems still stuck in the early 1990s when AltaVista was a thing. HMartAsianGroceryMarket is to engage with their customers and to promote the brand. Well, this version of HMartAsianGroceryMarket is garbage, and the H Mart marketing dept. must be a bunch of novice software engineers (do they even have a marketing team?)
HMartAsianGroceryMarket can’t even search their database to find my store card info; I enter the info of my store card, and I get a pop-up window, that my card number invalid because of inactivity. Well, I used it three days ago.

Just pull the pathetic app from HMartAsianGroceryMarket Store until it’s ready. Or, find beta testers that will give you unbiased feedback.

For now, I'm deleting the useless app until H Mart implements some useful features for me.

Dissapointed

I’m surprised that H-Mart is so behind until now on the supermarket app thing.
It would be great to have the feature where shoppers can scan or enter the barcode from the receipt in case a cashier forget to ask for the card (as I also tend to forget if not being asked).

Zion Market App was way better when they used to occupy the Western and 6th Koreatown where Hmart is now. Zion can let you scan your receipt for points. I wish they didn’t left the neighborhood.

It used to work great

Ever since the new UI update, HMartAsianGroceryMarket is broken. It used to work great, every time I went to the store and pull up my app it would have my smart reward card ready for use. But now, the account on HMartAsianGroceryMarket frequently logs out on itself randomly, and sometimes the reward card connected to my account is lost and I have to look up again. Very inconvenient for in-store purchases.

Card disappears

When HMartAsianGroceryMarket updates, my card disappears. Even though I have an email on file, HMartAsianGroceryMarket can’t find it. The only way to search is by account number - which is on the plastic card. It defeats the purpose of having HMartAsianGroceryMarket . It is extremely frustrating. Had to make a new account today to receive sale prices because I couldn’t access my account that I have had since Hmart opened.

Frustrating

App was not working so I tried to update, reset or even recreate an account but all didn’t go through. I even got a new membership card to create a new account with a different e-mail address but didn’t work. I was told by the cashier that I need to bring all the receipts I had in the past 4 months to get points. I feel like it’s a scam for stealing personal info. I would have left 0 if it’s available. Very disappointed.

Upset

With new app update make me lost all my points 800 something, how come log in and sign up the same side ,And HMartAsianGroceryMarket like push people to sign up new account. When try to see my point i do type in my email and the results say not recognize my email and i lost my card also forgot my password too . And in new app doesn’t have option for forget the password. Anyway the new app is very worse than old app , try to login still can login 🗑️🗑️

Not the the extra 5% discount

Wow, can’t believe I’m saying this. They’re running a promo where if you check out through HMartAsianGroceryMarket , you get an extra 5% off. HMartAsianGroceryMarket is made for phone and not iPad. It’s difficult to navigate. Can’t zoom into photos. I managed to get through all of it and finally hit confirm checkout and…. Something went wrong!

At least I was able to easily save my shopping cart so I could check out through the website.

Still Unable to Register Card

I’m still getting an error message that my card number, last name, or zip is incorrect. I signed up in store and unless the person didn’t put in my paperwork or misspelled something, there’s an issue with HMartAsianGroceryMarket . Why not just use the card number and phone number instead of last name and zip?

HMartAsianGroceryMarket also says only points can be redeemed in store so what’s really the point of the card and app?

You all need to hire some experienced developers to work HMartAsianGroceryMarket and I’m talking someone with over 7 years experience.

Don’t U like to Make Money, H-mart?

Your business is totally not in step with this digital time and absolutely not considering this Covid virus period. I don’t mean to tell you how to run your business, but you are missing out on lots and lots of money by not having a good online service and a good app. Your physical stores were great, but these days...sad and very inconvenient for us, once-loyal customers (not much selections at all for customers outside of NY area).
Please check out the Weee Asian grocer of NY. I have been “forced” to order online from them, because you H-mart’s online offerings are just a big disappointment.

Every update requires a new login

It’s amazing how you’re standing in checkout line and cashiers are pushing to get you out as quickly as possible before you can even start bagging your groceries. In the meantime you struggle to open HMartAsianGroceryMarket because half the time there are updates to “fix bugs” but it also logs you out. There you are trying to access your hmart card and the cashier can’t wait to get you out so she begins setting up the next person.

The logging out is a feature, not a bug. Every single time, it logs you out.

Useless.

Hate new design

I hate that it auto logs me out of HMartAsianGroceryMarket . I want to be able to open HMartAsianGroceryMarket and use my smart card without signing in every time. What’s the point of HMartAsianGroceryMarket ? Also I want to be able to see the weekly add for my area or preferred store without having to select state and location every time. HMartAsianGroceryMarket is so customer unfriendly

Wish there was a.....

“go back” button on the interface. Every time I wanted to go back out after clicking on something I had to cancel the page and re-enter, kinda annoying.

Below basic

I figured HMartAsianGroceryMarket of a supermarket chain would be more informative. There isn’t a search option, sales are not very clear and even have items on display that are not on sale. Only good thing is the option to find the nearest place but google maps already does that!
