Love the new "my coupon" feature
The app has been improved a lot compared 1 year ago. I feel excited to have fresh produce and seafoods delivered directly to my house in Bay area. It seems that the company provides limit-time purchase with specific products in great discount every day. I also like the new “ my coupon” feature. I can use the credits given by the company to make a purchase directly. They also bring the restaurant meals as the new choices to the app. I don’t need to visit the local supermarket which saves me a lot of time. I’ve heard some areas can receive 3 times delivery per week, mine (Evergreen) is only 1 time per week so far, when will you increase the delivery frequency here?
convince but customer service is terrible
I purchased few stuff few days ago and it should deliver those items yesterday. Thus I put a cooler outside of my house when I left yesterday morning. I hoped that they can delivery my item and pick up the cooler. When I backed to my house and saw the cooler was still outside. Until 8pm, no one delivered and picked up the cooler. Then I contacted the customer service immediately via message, but they replied my question in one hour and said they could contact logistic department. Until 11, they told me a logistic specialist put my items in front of my house. But I double checked and asked my roommate whatever they saw any package, but nobody saw it. And I told customer service I didn’t see it. Until now, none of them answered me when I asked them in the morning what should I do. BTW, I received finally my items in the noon. The customer service never contacted me except advertising their products.
The veggies are bad quality
Ordered for the first time because I heard it’s a convenient way to get Asian vegetables. However, it’s a huge disappointment. The quality of the veggies are really poor. I ordered 6 kinds of veggies and only one looked “ok”. The other 5 kinds are has already gone bad and the leaves has already turned yellow, black, and mushy. It’s far from being good. I have to throw away all the veggies and spend time to contact customer service. What a waste of time! Not to mention that it delivered one hour later than estimated, when it shows “the driver will arrive in 10 mins”. Stay away from the app if you want good quality vegetables.
Ways to go for improvements
I like Weee’s service and products in general but not necessarily the app, too many bugs and many times the app closed itself while I was still using it. Many times an item I added to the shopping cart disappeared. I would rather it shows “sold out” if the reason it disappeared was it was sold out, instead of disappearing. That way I know I need to buy it in the next order or buy somewhere else.
App itself is ok but the company delete negative product reviews
My friends and I have ordered food from them and quality is very inconsistent. Up on received some rotten vege, my friend posted a negative review with the item. It never show up. There’s only positive reviews for all the items. Never a negative one. I ordered a specific type of orange twice and received diff kind of oranges each time. 2nd time oranges are tasteless and not juicy. I don’t even bother to post any review knowing it will be removed anyway. Just to be aware what they are doing...
Worst online purchase experience ever!!
The second day I made the purchase they went on sale for the items, and refused to price match the order. I requested to cancel the order, got rejected also, because they are planing on delivery on tomorrow? Are you kidding me that I can’t can cel order within 24 hr of making the purchase and one day before delivery? This is just so bad experience for customer! Will never use it again even tho it might be cheap, but never expect good customer experience. Cause they only care about money yet customer, what a shame for Chinese App.
Be aware of the product reviews, Only positive review get posted
I have no complaints about the app itself, and indeed majority of my purchase are at outstanding quality. The only complaint is about their product reviews. All my positive comments are posted and rewarded with points. Negative comments are erased without any explanation. This is cheating!
Convenient app makes grocery easy. But customer service is bad. They didn’t deliver my food to my house. I called them and after they realized it was delivered to another house nearby. They asked me to go to that location to knock the door and ask the food back myself. I refused and asked for another delivery. Throughout the whole conversation, they never said sorry. And I got another delivery two days later, which the food package in there is broken.

Great app to use for buying groceries every week
I haven’t been to the supermarket to buy groceries ever since I start using Weee! Very convenient and easy to use, and they have lots of stuff that you can’t find anywhere else.
Weee saves my life in california. They sell lots of authentic Chinese food, some are seasonal or regional and rarely seen in the States. Meat and fruit also taste much better than those bought in local grocery stores.
Convenient and useful
The delivery service is awesome! I came home late last night and was starving. I saw a red cooler at my doorway and it had everything I ordered on Weee! The food was awesome! So delicious! Now I don't need to go out to get food! Love weee!
The app has a wide collection of groceries that almost cover everything you will need. And they have great deals on a daily basis.
Tried to return a purchase because of food quality, the app asks for picture of the food, but immediately exists upon picture upload, it does not allow you to hit the submit button. Also tried to comment on the food, the post never showed up. I don’t know why the app does not allow comments or return.
Having been a loyal customer for a year. It’s nice to watch it grow and get better and better over time.
