Great idea but…

I was using this as back up in between a damaged phone. Now that I have my new phone I have notification sounds turned off. But it’s still not only rings through but won’this app stop until I open T and close it even if I answer the phone on the other device! I like having it as a back up or alternate device but this is ridiculous I guess I have no choice but to close T and turn all notifications off.

Chronically, unusably buggy

T is Bug City, and has been for years. Random silent sign-outs, text messages not sending, texts showing up in the wrong thread from the wrong sender, incoming calls not ringing—you name the feature, and it doesn’this app consistently work, breaking in ways that make the feature useless for anything of importance.

this app-Mobile will, of course, have their bot once again comment to call customer service to fix the issue on my account. There is no issue on my account. T just needs to be fixed. Having the same debilitating bugs for at least four years with a terrible App Store review score is an embarrassment and an insult to this app-Mobile customers. If you need a second line on the same phone, don’this app pay for DIGITS.

First 24 hours terrible!!!!

I’ve just downloaded T to give it a try but there’s some mix-up with their service overall. I was testing my new number out and it turns out someone is still using that number because I sent a message but someone else is replying right back from the messages. Called this app-Mobile and the rep didn'this app have a valid explanation of how something like that could happen. this app-Mobile rep gave me a list of numbers to choose from. Choose a new number but yet the same problem!! My caller ID shows something else and number already in use. Don'this app use T. It’s terrible before you know it you’ll have mistaken identity people calling and messaging you but it’s not. Explore other options.

Login goes in loops outside US

Installed on a new phone. After login, welcome screen is displayed. After accepting the terms same login screen displayed again. This goes on forever! Confirmed the log in credentials were valid. There is no error message displayed either. Made T unusable with this! Worked OK on previous phone.
Update: Connected via VPN to US. That worked and I was able to login. Developer needs to handle exceptions in such failure and warn the user that initial login is not permitted outside USA. Or allow the user to login from outside of USA.

Unusable at night / in the dark

Why, why, WHY does your big white app not have dark mode?!? For the love the God, please add this standard feature. I can’this app use T on my iPad in a dark room at night. It’s literally physically uncomfortable when you switch from an app in dark mode (pretty much every app at night) to the Digits app. It’s sooooo bright and jarring. I have to squint to use it and find that I only open it if I absolutely have to for some reason.

Worked fairly decent once upon a time

Earlier versions of T and desktop app worked pretty well. App on iPhone no longer refreshes texts coming in. I get the notifications but I can’this app see the updated texts. Desktop app has lost its connection with the google API to sync contacts even when granting permission. Now both are not reliable whatsoever. Such a shame, great product at one time, it is becoming more of a burden to pay for the line. I hope it gets fixed quickly all the way around.

Well, its been working for me(:

I caught my partner cheating on me with T. Discovered text messages within seconds and kept track of every call almost. And he hasn’this app even noticed that I have access to all that on my very own phone. Thank You this app-Mobile.

Very clunky. I have no confidence in it

T, to me, seems like someone decided "we need that" but didn'this app want to staff/pay-for a real app. This is clearly not a native app, but even for a non native app it is unreasonably slow. Very annoying transitions/clicking things takes forever to work/when you do anything you need to wait for it to catch up.

Does it work? Yea, it does. But I would rather pay more money to Burner or someone else instead.

Good second number

This used to be a good source for a second number but recently T crashes a lot, dropping calls and often times the clarity is low. I really hope it improves considering I pay a monthly fee because I would like to keep the number I have associated with it.

Worst extra line out of 7 different apps I tried

**update** service hasn’this app changed, contacted support more than once and still utter garbage.
No solutions given they just said it should be working.

Too many issue to list, choppy audio, texts don’this app send although show sent, text aren’this app received although sender verifies they are sent. Every issue you can imagine with a phone line T has it and then a few you might not have even thought of.

Business Line

I enjoy my Digit by this app-MOBILE. I get all my call and text messages.
The only thing is that recently my text message doesn’this app sound or show me on my phone unless I actually go on the T .
It never use to do that before.

Ring you apple watch

I wish they will have it where it will ring to your Apple Watch. What a waste. I’m using digits for business purposes and I still have to carry my phone everywhere I go.🤦🏽‍♀️ Sometimes, my text messages don’this app come through.

Needs a lot of work

The entire point of T is to keep your actual phone number private and use your Digits number when you want. I (like most other users) primarily use this when creating new accounts which send you confirmation texts. I only get about 10% of these texts.

Also, when I use it as a phone everyone has complained about a bad/choppy connection.

Dark Mode Theme

I’ve been using Digits for quite awhile now, but I do have some connection issues and it takes awhile to dial out at times. But my question really, can you update T to have dark mode? It’ll be much better on the eyes and gives it more privacy. Thanks!!!

Talk Time Limit

For the past three weeks or so, all of my calls keep hanging up at the 37 minute mark. What’s up with that? Is there a talk time limit?! I’ve already updated to the latest software, disabled the line, deleted T and then reinstalled… still happens. So weird!

Business text/calls

I wish I wouldn’this app install T for my business phone. It’s not working the way supposed to and most of the technicians don’this app know what to do. I’ve got blocked for 24 hours and it was their own fault. No one can fix that for…24 hours and I cannot use it. It’s not acceptable! Bluepap

Unable to view texts

Great concept but program is flawed. Way too frequently a message is received and the notification shows but it disappears from history so you cannot view the full message

No Longer Makes Outbound Calls!

Switched from old LG (which made calls @ 80% of the time) to brand new IPhone, and now makes zero outbound calls. Rings maybe once before going straight to voicemail. Saddened by transition as I use other numbers for my business.

T isn’this app loading at all now!! Haven’this app been receiving notifications for a week now. And now it just completely stopped working! Come on! Y’all need to step up the apps. Love the service!

Very poor app

Very poor app, it’s very slow and it lags. My pictures always get canceled and I need to resend, and when I resend them it still doesn’this app go through. I use T on many different devices. It is slightly faster on my 12.9 inch iPad Pro five, but the pictures still won’this app go through.

Great App but...

Hey, thanks for this great app but I wanted to share with you a minor issue I’ve been having with it. From time to time T freezes and I either cannot send or receive calls or I cannot send or receive messages. What is freakishly strange about these incidents it’s usually after a major storm in my area that these issues occur. Yeah, I know—what does weather have to do with an app?! But that’s when I notice it. Coincidentally an update to my iPhone has normally occurred before or after the storm.

The latest incident two weeks ago we had a major storm come through our area (in Texas). I checked T , wasn’this app responding. Un-installed and re-installed T and the issue was not resolved. 5/10 or 5/11 there was an IOS update. Digits still wasn’this app working. Called Customer Care and nothing was wrong as far as they could see. Uninstalled and reinstalled T and it’s working fine.

Just wanted to share my experience. Love T and highly recommend it for ANY educators!

It’s gotten better

I can’this app say that T hasn’this app improved, that would be lie. I have poor Call quality over data but I’m sure that’s mostly an issue with my network on my personal phone. I would like to not always have to carry two phones which was the point of me getting T, but it’s not as reliable as I would like it to be. I use voice over data because with usage of cell service my work callers get my personal voicemail and I work in the medical field. I don’this app need my patients accessing my personal line and I don’this app want to change my personal voicemail greeting to reflect any clinic reference because I want to keep the lines separate.

But what would be greatly appreciated other than reliability is a refreshed UI and more ringtone options. This UI is hideous and the font is rather small. Let’s get some customizing options, eh?

Craps out without indication

I shouldn’this app have to keep checking and testing to see if T is active or failed. Nothing like entering T to be prompted to login, when you had no idea that you had been somehow logged out, and then (hopefully) see all the calls and messages that you’ve missed. T has come a long way, but seriously it needs to be more robust and reliable. It needs a prominent notification if/when it disconnects from the service. It also needs an easy and obvious way to check its status to verify that it is still connected and functional.

Consistent resets, lost messages, dropped calls

I had and old phone, so was waiting to review because I was told part of the issue MAY be compatibility/phone age, but got a new iPhone 90 days ago and nothing has changed. T, although an incredible concept, is poorly put together at best. Over 80% of the voice calls experience a 2-3 second delay, causing both parties to talk over each other constantly during conversations. T fails (stops receiving messages altogether) at least once every 60 days needing a full uninstall and reinstall. When the reinstall happens, your last 100+ messages show as unread and need to be re-read, AND at least 10% of the message histories are lost completely. T was one of the reasons I switched to this app-Mobile (so I wouldn’this app need a business AND personal phone, but it’s a TERRIBLE option for anyone with a business (unless you don’this app care about professionalism or reliability).

Very unreliable

I use this for my business and it’s always one problem or another. Here’s my list of issues the T.
1. Calls not coming in. I have my iPhone synced with my iPad so I could hear if any calls come in, so if I don’this app hear my phone I’ll hear the iPad. Well my iPad rings and shows an incoming digits call coming in but not my phone, unfortunately the phone number doesn’this app show and I can’this app return the calls. It will not show any missed calls on my phone.
2. Sometimes when a call does get thru, as soon as you answer, it drops the call.
3. Don’this app always get text messages. Updating T , deleting it and putting it back on or turning your phone off then back on does not work.
4. Out of the blue text messages may appear days later.
5. Voicemail may also appear later.
6. I’ve had T actually turn off my digit number.
Get your act together this app-Mobile, there has been more than enough time to fix these known issues. If you can’this app maybe give it to a high school for a class project, I’m sure they’ll get it done. Yes I have spoken to your tech support many times and they are very well aware of them. Being in business customers don’this app want to know or care that I have issues with my carrier, they just want to reach me and if they can’this app I lose business and money. Enough of the excuses and fix T !!!

Crap.

Worst app for making calls!!! Or even texting! Lost calls & that’s even if you’re able to make a call! Sometimes I’ll go to call someone and it’ll just be silent. No ringing, doesn’this app show if it’s even connected. Calls get dropped ALL THE TIME! Sometimes I even miss incoming calls while in T not doing anything else. I’ll just be waiting for a call back and the next thing I know I have a missed call notification and a voicemail! I lose text messages at random and sometimes it takes 30 tries just to get a text to go through when I have full bars! When are you guys going to fix these bugs??? I’ve been having this problem since I 1st downloaded T. I’ve even deleted & reinstalled. This is super inconvenient.

After all these years it still needs work.

Works whenever it wants. Friends tell me all the time that they called or texted and I never got a notification. Sometimes I get a missed call notification but phone never rang. The worst part of T is that it does not support shortcodes. That means dual factor authentication is not possible. A huge problem. Ironic since it sends a shortcode to register a another phone to even use T . Developers don’this app seem to be listening. They keep replying to negative reviews saying “just download the new version”. Updates just make things worse. After latest update I get incoming calls from anonymous multiples times a day.

Develop more

Please develop T further. It shouldn’this app have to sync with my phone’s contacts for me to add contacts to T itself. I use Digits to keep in contact with my clients and the point was to keep everything separate. If this was the case I just use Google voice. Please fix this. Also there needs to be a feature to block calls and text!! You will get random numbers constantly because the number use to belong to someone else. this app-Mobile you need to better I’m considering canceling this service.

Worst text / call app ever !!!

It’s very inconvenient to pay for this service every single month and it doesn’this app even function correctly. I miss calls everyday. Or calls fail everyday. I can never stay logged in. T logs me out everyday without telling me. Text messages fail continuously ! This is my work line so I have lost a lot of business due to this line never functioning correctly. I’m missing appointments and sales due to this ! I have reached out to this app-Mobile on several occasions to discuss my issues and not once has this been fixed or updated. I’m ready to switch to something else. This is very disappointing.

Absolutely horrible.

App never actually rings phone or gives me text notifications. When I open T all my messages are gone and I have to click around in T and often close/reopen multiple times to get my messages to reappear. Multiple times I’ve had to send myself a text message to my normal phone number to get missed calls, voicemails, and texts to appear and then all flood in at once.

I use Digits for my work cell phone number and it’s a complete failure. No one can ever get a hold of me and I get messages too late. I end up having to use my cell phone number anyway. Completely useless.

Great for Business but...

Great to combine business line to personal phone but doesn’this app always work, forwards calls even after you stop using T and remove your numbers from digits. The concept is great but it’s not reliable and I have had too many phone call issues. Texts worked great but again some days it just doesn’this app work. I want to stop the call forwarding and I’ve done it everywhere. Stop it!!!!

Horrible , help even worst

I have not had any luck with T .
I Have changed numbers, called the help techs over a dozen times. Even though I’ve had T for over 4 months I have never paided because T doesn’this app work . 1. Can’this app get picture
1. Doe not show any text on phone bill call log.
Customer service is worthless.
They never return calls every time I call I go over the same thing I only have it for a couple of business issues. probably will be going to Google voice. since every month is free I have kept it. Not worth the 15 dollars a month

DIGITS is highly unreliable

Ever since porting a this app-mobile line to DIGITS a year ago, we’ve experienced an astonishingly high frequency of calls not ringing (straight to voicemail), calls simply never going through, texts vanishing into the ether... On different hardware, latest iOS, latest version of T , this app-mobile support checking settings—none of it helps. The only thing this service seems to do reliably is deliver “Spam Likely” calls, which apparently it cannot be told to block. Forget improving the less-than-stellar UI layout; DIGITS or its backend first needs to sort out how to make a phone ring...

Great app that improves over time

I’ve been using T since the start and the dev team has made great improvements over time. Specifically I use it for a work phone line and its fantastic.

For now just one request: can you please add an automatic dark mode that syncs with iOS phone/iPad settings? :)

Although I am paying for Digits ($20 /month, $10 for each of 2 phones for 27 months) yet have never requested it, activated it, and want to have it removed! I'm pushing 80 years old and simply not designed to you this stuff! Help!

Rarely does the app work the way it is supposed to. It is frustrating as I am using it to communicate with a large amount of people daily by text for work. I have used Skype and other similar apps, and surprisingly, this is by far the worst. Sometimes, if I am messaging someone through the app on my computer, it will show the response in my phone and not the computer app. Also, today, I am trying to message off of any of my two lines, and it says it can not process the message. It is very important for me to be able to text from my computer with the app. These issues are just the tip of the iceberg!

This app will not let me conference call..I have not spoke to one person from t-,mobile that knows this app well I have been told engineers are looking at the problem and will resolved within 72 hrs..six days later...nothing.....I sent an email to digits tech never heard anything back or did i get a reply that they received it. I see so many flaws in this app i wonder why they sell it..the design team must have been some monkeys in a zoo.. and customer service all hat ..no cattle
