Every update makes it worse….the balances are not accurate and may change hourly, but it’s the ‘vendors fault’, never seems to keep an accurate pending balance or show transaction still pending
After the last update I can no longer bill pay individuals through Sync . I have children in college and this is how I send them money and my ex wife. They don’t even show up as an option anymore. The functionality still exists on the web site but it’s gone in the last version of Sync .
I cannot access any bank info since the latest update. I’m not sure what’s going on but it seems as though I didn’t receive any notice that changes were going to be made. I have tried obtaining online support to no avail. My next step is to go into the main branch on Monday to try to receive help in this matter. I love the online app and have never had any issues until now. Hopefully all of our concerns will be resolved.

After years of being able to do it this way . My phone isn’t compatible with ios 16 only 15.8
For a girl on the go this is a great app, especially when you receive a lot of checks for your business and you can just deposit them by just taking pictures.

I have banked with several banks over the years this is the easiest bank I have ever had. I now have moved to Maine and I am still a customer.

I can’t log in to my account because I don’t have IOS 16.0 and I can’t even get in my account to change my password
When I have need a loan I know Bank Independent will find a way to help me. I love how they are open into the evening and on Saturdays. Mobile banking is so easy - I can make a deposit or transfer in seconds with no problems. They always answer my questions and concerns immediately. I’ve never had an experience like this with another bank. Other banks said “No!” to everything. Other businesses and organizations can learn from Bank Independent.
I do bussiness with the branch in Cherokee Alabama and the people that work there are awesome! They are always very polite and helpful. Every problem I’ve had they had a quick answer and also gave me several options and even advise on what to do. I’d for shure suggest bank independent to any of my friends and family!!
Every time I try to open Sync , I have to download it again! The new app is no longer simple. The older version was so much easier to navigate!
I agree to busy, I prefer simplicity for basic account information. I had to spend time learning how to navigate this update. My daughter and husband dislike this ap even more than me.
I’ve tried other banks in the past, but I came back to BI because they are genuinely good people who want to help their customers in any way they can. I like the many locations they have that make it easy to bank wherever I’m at in the shoals area. No one is better.
As a student getting their first bank account, Sync has been a huge relief! It allows me to easily deposit checks and see all my transactions while staying secure. Bank Independent is also a great institution with a very good student banking system.
I love Sync, so convenient & useful!! So well set up. I always depend on it. I look at it everyday. So very thankful for it. I would’ve gave it a 5 stars but the recent update has made it drop transactions. Plus it is saying my last transaction was in November. It’s now the end of May.
It’s been fixed within 5-6 hrs thank you. :)
I can’t get into my app now since new update cause it will not let me update app so now I can’t pay my bill or know what’s in my account without going to the bank an when something is working they have to screw it up so I’m not happy with this at all
I enjoy Bank independent’s service to their customers. I made a deposit today and inquired about the bank having a notary public and they do and it is free to customers.
Also, it is very convenient that you are able to transfer money from one account to another account.
I can’t change my monthly payments through Sync and I don’t have a computer.
