The ERV travel & care app is operated by the travel insurance company ERGO Reiseversicherung (former: ERV - Europäische Reiseversicherung) and GWS (Global Warning System).  For insurance holders of ERGO Reiseversicherung, treatment costs are paid for in partner hospitals - without advance payments! *Document safe for all your documents, such as e. g. * And much, much more such as, e. g.  ERV travel & care: Your mobile partner for safe travels! * Alerts with alert function, e. g. *Safety and travel advice with local emergency numbers.  For customers of ERGO Reiseversicherung with annual travel insurance or students/aupairs included automatically.  The emergency centre is always a call away. * Hospitals, pharmacies, consulates or police in your area incl. directions.  At any time, you can get to safety or directly call the emergency centre in case of medical problems.  Benefits for you: Reliable, trusted medical facilities are labelled for you.  Upload doctor’s bills via app while abroad, report damages and get money back within 2 days!  ERVtravelcare increases your safety and helps you to avoid threats, wherever you are.  It is a GPS-based app, which runs continuously in the background and can significantly reduce battery life.  However, due to intelligent GPS restriction, this effect is reduced to a minimum.
