Not easy

I’m having trouble finding things like Photo Deposits, and had a hard time figuring out what to use for password. Will it always be my bank I D #? Or my email. Have to go back on Everything in the papers. You have way too many rules!!!
Maybe I’ll learn in time, but for now it’s frustrating for a 75 year old woman who is fairly computer literate, but admittedly less every day.

Love this Bank

I’ve been with this bank for over 20 years and appreciate how well they have taken care of my money . 🌷 They have options so a person doesn’t have to pay a lot outrageous fees if they should overdraw their account and I appreciate them making my money available immediately. Plus the staff is always friendly and professional.

App won’t display now on my iPhone

CNB is still installed on my phone but won’t display the widget on my home page(s). I have to navigate to CNB through CNB Store. Touch ID etc. are still intact. No idea why it changed about a week ago, but it did. Reinstalling, etc. didn’t help. 🤷‍♀️ Really like CNB . Hope this issue is fixed soon.

Ironton City National Bank

I am 45 years old, and have dealt with many banks. Usually through my job however I have been a member of four banks in my life. I moved here from Cincinnati and I was going to keep my account at US Bank. After several rude encounters at US Bank and wanted to switch. The rumor was City National was great. So I gave it a try. Best decision I ever made with a bank. This bank makes everyone feel like family. There is not one bad employee there. This branch is a role model. None of them come close to Ironton. Greenup, Ky are very friendly The one in the Ashland Ashland for you

Great for credit repair

I have had the card for about a month my score increased 47 points before I made my first payment. Pay off the balance if you can, keep your utilization rate down under 30%, also if you can make your payment early. So far this has worked good for me. Oh yea my score just increased 13 more points. If you need to fix your credit get this card it helps a lot more than I ever thought it would.

Inconvenient

When opening the city app I usually use, it said it needed an update. Cool no biggie. Except it’s not an update. You guys just made a new app. Thank you for the inconvenience.
Edit: I’m a fair person. Things aggravate me. Having to download a new app and re-enter info was inconvenient. I’ve been in CNB for a few weeks now and it’s not bad. Pretty smooth interface and easier to transfer funds from CNB than before.

So much better!

I’m loving this version so much more than the old one. It’s much easier to navigate and I LOVE the feature of being able to actually see all the way back in my transaction history. Before I could only look back 2 or 3 weeks. Definitely an upgrade!!

Feedback

The outline doesn’t seem to match the check size so I’m not sure I’m positioning it correctly. Plus when I begin to position the back of the check the white message box doesn’t disappear for quite a while, leaving me struggling to determine how to position the check. That stated, CNB still seems to accept my check fine and perhaps a few more tries and it’ll make more sense.

Available balance

I love city by far better than my old bank only problem is it won’t load the correct bank amount saying that I have so much in my account when I have less than that and making me bounce also if you sent a Zelle transaction in the afternoon/night (I work nightshift and need to transfer money if I forget lunch) it takes hours to show up or days! Is this just me or is it a bug?

Wouldn’t recommend this bank

You need to show when purchases are made and withdrawn from account instantly. I have to keep track myself of every transaction made to know exactly what I have left in my account. Every single time I check my account there is a different amount even within a few minutes and not making purchases. I basically would never know what is in my account if I didn’t keep track of all transactions myself. Very irritating! Isn’t this what my bank is supposed to do for me?

Bad bank

I think you should still give running ledger. I find it funny how you put all pending transaction back in account at 10 pm . And then deduct then at 3 am. I guess so people can pay a crooked bank NSF fees. I loved the bank when it was small hometown bank. But as usual when they get to big they forget the people who helped them get started. what an ashame . I'll be going back to my local credit union. That does show me my actual account balance. Instead of trying to make money off the people whom helped them get started.

Login Issues

Every time I need to access my bank account, it always seems to not allow me to login. As CNB doesn’t serve its purpose majority of the time to be functional. I have to resort to the website for anything relating to my account.

I wish City would immediately show that purchases withdrawn. Waiting until business hours gives one a false sense of security. Deduct immediately showing available balance with purchases deducted right then.

Customer service

I accidentally paid under an old account for my electric bill. Your representative was able to assist me with getting the wrong payment stopped and even removed the old account for me! Great job!

Response with few glitches

City has significantly improved their online presence in the last five years and their app is another piece of that. Good quality, well organized, and responsive.

Much better app than before

CNB is so much better! I love the dashboard design and the functionality is so much more advanced than the previous app! I had an account with Chase and CNB blows it away by far!

Horrible won’t work at all

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone as soon as I get the chance I will retrieve all my money from this app hasn’t let me log in since day one called customer service all they would do is reset password like I explained to them it wasn’t the password they claimed it was so they reset it ever since then I can’t even get in at all it says wrong user name or password worst banking app ever at least the old one always worked properly

Great App

CNB is really user friendly and it makes account information readily available. I love the fact it has Zelle making it easier to send money to people you know.

Could be better

I wish CNB had the option of a quick view balance instead of having to login every time. For what ever reason I can’t send over like $340 through Zelle which is very inconvenient because that’s how I pay rent. And today CNB just started needing me to re-authenticate my account info, logging me out and having to re enter everything.

Comments on checks limited

Apparently there is a limit to the number of characters you can submit in comments - you can make on a check to the recipient - this was not the case on when this update first came out - why?

CNB allows you to look at many more transactions than the old app. Easy to Navigate. Laid out in a way that makes sense.

Text Messages

I normally do not write reviews but I wanted to give some feedback. I love the text feature for purchases. I like being in the know if my bank card would get hacked.
However, I feel it needs some work. Instead of saying “A transaction”, it could say “we processed a debit or credit for”. Include the name of the company, business or other bank, etc. Along with the shortened account info and date. Also could leave out the part about being sent because of the value you set. No text needed when an item it posted, you can check CNB for that.
Other than the text wording and the number of texts for 1 transaction. I love CNB . Very easy to navigate. Thank You.
