Unusable app

I really wanted to use the city bikes in Vancouver and l, despite all the bad reviews, I decided to give Mobi /system a try. Mobi is so buggy as to be unusable. On opening Mobi it forces you to go to ad and update webpages without the ability to cancel out. Then when trying to enter my phone number to sign up it randomly drops skips out and the entire screen changes. Sadly with so many bugs merely upon trying to sign up, I don’t fired at all comfortable actually trying to rent a bike or giving up any payment info. Sadly this is about the worst city bike app I’ve ever seen.

Buggy and poorly designed

this app provides an amazing service but it is sad that you have to use this poorly designed and buggy app in order to use it.

Having used bike share apps in San Francisco, New York and London. I can say by far the this app app is the toughest to get set up and get started with.

Poor usability, and non-existent customer service

Only bike rental option at Stanley park…however poor app usability, and non-existent customer service makes this a failed service.

Price Charge Traps

Really careful with how they charge you. The Subscription shows how they charge you are really confusing. I had to pay twice the price because of this

The worst bike share ever

Please please save yourself from this bikeshare and dont waste your money, time and energy! This will just ruin your vancouver vacation.. i thought the issue was specific to just one dock, but nooooo.. its all of themmm… 0 stars

Slow to download

Why it takes 18mins to download app? I tried it with wifi and my cellular connection. Both connection take ridiculous long time to download.

This app is awful

Came here from the states hoping to use a bike to get around. I was sorely disappointed. American ride share does not have this problem. I hope they learn to fix this instead of continuing to confuse citizens.

Take this off the store

This is the worst app I’ve used in years. It’s such an infuriating, frustrating experience that it feels like it was designed in a lab to make its users violent. After 20 min of internal server errors and infinite spinners I am no closer to renting a bike. Take this off the store, it is an embarrassment.

Can’t log in

We can’t log in. No one around us (8 people trying here) can log in. The ap is not working. I called the help number and they acted surprised yet the ap only got one review—and that one for the same negative reason. How do they expect to rent out their bikes?!

Fancy new update to make it less usable

Before I used to be able to filter for just electric bikes at all docks around me, the new update makes it such that I have to look into the details of each dock to see if they have electric bikes. Bad update, wish I could roll it back.

Garbage

Mobi is terrible. It’s unintuitive, freezes constantly, and makes renting a bike a difficult and frustrating experience. Considering it’s ran by an internet service provider is impressive how bad it is. Do the developers read any of these reviews? Get your act together and fix this garbage app.

Worst app I’ve ever used

Kept timing out when trying to buy a day pass. Eventually got it working. But then there was an additional mystery charge of $25. Tried submitting a support request, but the form refreshes when trying to click the recaptcha. Absolutely unusable. Visiting Vancouver and just want to ride some bikes.

Useless and broken

After standing at a bike for 10 minutes trying to log in and register, I gave up and walked. Mobi has multiple screens that do nothing when you try to continue. I tried to give you my money but sadly Mobi didn’t support the most basic feature of signing up.

MOBI FLOPPP

So basically, this app is a flop app. She wouldn’t work at all, we tried so many times. She literally is unusable, and ignored me and my homegirls all night. I’m done with her, I also heard her talking smack about Citibikes, and you don’t mess with my girls from Appleton, WI!

I’m not done. this app literally called me fat when I sat on the bike. Im only 280lbs girl!! That’s not fat!! She body shamed me and my friend. I can’t do this anymore. She’s blocked.

Unusable

Mobi is unusable. We stood at a bike rack for 15 minutes fighting with your app trying to rent a bike but it continuously froze. 3 other potential customers were also standing there also trying to rent bikes but swearing at their phones commenting how bad Mobi is. We all gave up and walked or took cars. I am not being dramatic when I say that Mobi is an embarrassment to the city of Vancouver

Not just worst app, worst bike share ever.

Have used bike share across multiple cities: NYC, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Seattle, SF. But never have I encountered such a bad app/bike share system.

Bikes don't easily unlock/dock, have to retry multiple times for both. App doesn't even show if you have a trip open easily. Sometimes bike gets docked but doesn't reflect in app and won't let you checkout a bike.

Would give this -infinity rating if I could. Save your money and don't even bother.

Mobi is not a good app!

To be completely honest, this app is a bad app. My friends and I were visiting the great city of Vancouver when we unfortunately wanted to ride bikes. I typically consider myself an optimist, voted “Appletown’s happiest person” twice in high school. It was hard to remain this happy when Mobi would not let me reserve a bike or even make an account! Super disappointed, we had to walk instead which, of course, effected our body positivity. Hope to give this app another shot when I return to Vancouver!

Trash

This is the best Vancouver can do? Wasted 15min trying to get Mobi to work and it repeatedly kicked myself and three other people out.

Not too bad

I’ll give this app a good review. For the sheer size of what they’re trying to pull off, they did a pretty good job. Their app worked well enough, the bikes all handled decently well, and my experience we good! The only downside is that sometimes returning the bike was difficult as it wouldn’t register.

App worked fine

First time using on-demand bikes in Vancouver. Mobi worked fine. It showed me where the e-bikes were specifically which is what I was looking for. The checkout process was fairly easy (the buttons on the bikes are a little fussy but it worked without any serious problems). All in all a good experience.
