I really wanted to use the city bikes in Vancouver and l, despite all the bad reviews, I decided to give the app/system a try. The app is so buggy as to be unusable. On opening the app it forces you to go to ad and update webpages without the ability to cancel out. Then when trying to enter my phone number to sign up it randomly drops skips out and the entire screen changes. Sadly with so many bugs merely upon trying to sign up, I don’t fired at all comfortable actually trying to rent a bike or giving up any payment info. Sadly this is about the worst city bike app I’ve ever seen.

To be completely honest, Mobi is a bad app. My friends and I were visiting the great city of Vancouver when we unfortunately wanted to ride bikes. I typically consider myself an optimist, voted “Appletown’s happiest person” twice in high school. It was hard to remain this happy when the app would not let me reserve a bike or even make an account! Super disappointed, we had to walk instead which, of course, effected our body positivity. Hope to give Mobi another shot when I return to Vancouver!

Have used bike share across multiple cities: NYC, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Seattle, SF. But never have I encountered such a bad app/bike share system.
Bikes don't easily unlock/dock, have to retry multiple times for both. App doesn't even show if you have a trip open easily. Sometimes bike gets docked but doesn't reflect in app and won't let you checkout a bike.
Would give this -infinity rating if I could. Save your money and don't even bother.
