Neveo – Family Photo Album Reviews

My grandmother just received her first “issue” and she loves it. She loves seeing pictures and I thought this would be a great thing she can look back on however many times she wants. And at 95 years old to get mail is super exciting!

The negative I would say is the picture quality seems to be darkened a bit when it is printed. Also the front cover has a few pictures on it and some are cropped. If there was a way to arrange those it would be awesome!

Otherwise the idea of the monthly pictures is awesome.

I’m so glad this is over, I subscribed for a year for 4 users. They messed up with payments, it was technical bugs after technical bugs, for a few albums I was not able to download all the pictures, for others I was not able to write the comments, one of my family member would receive the album one month later, every month sometimes even more. I opened a ticket each time but there was no technical resolution. They renew automatically the subscriptions so I cancel 2 of the albums before they renew it automatically, thinking that I’ll still be able to do my last 2 albums: It is not the case. I was told that when I subscribed annually, they applied a discount so I won’t get any reimbursement, which is OK, but I should be able to do the last albums.
But as they say : There is nothing they can do about it.
Great concept but that’s it.

Overall, the product is great! My grandma is thrilled and loving her journals each month! The website and app have a few glitches but they are getting worked out. Only thing I’d say is it’s confusing on when you can’t upload anymore photos. I uploaded photos on the last day of the month because Neveo was still allowing me to add photos but those did not end up in my grandmas journal. The books are gorgeous!

I contacted customer service about my May album not being able to have pictures added to it 8 days before the deadline. They replied that I needed to try updating Neveo . I did. Still didn’t work. Then I responded again and they replied I could try using my desktop. Still didn’t work. I tried every day and up until an hour before the deadline. They stopped responding to my requests for help and for a refund for my May album. I never did get the final 25 or so pictures into my May album, so that was ruined, and I just got charged for June’s album. This company has too many issues and needs to work out their bugs when offering a product that has a definitive deadline.

Love this so much, we don’t live close to our grandparents. We have 3 big familiars importing photos into the book! It gives us opportunity to stay in touch and connected to people who live 4-5 hours away!❤️❤️

Although whenever I try to type a description on Neveo it erases it. I can type it on the computer but not Neveo ? Please fix??

I just used this for my first time and it is the most precious thing I’ve ever seen. I know my grandparents will be so emotional over their first paper, they’re going to LOVE it!! With all the social distancing, my grandparents are really missing our big family that they’re used to always seeing so this is just perfect!! I highly recommend Neveo!!

this app has a professional team, and provides fast answers.
Every single month my parents who leave on the other side of the ocean receive an album with pictures of my kids and my family. They are super proud to show the album with family and friends.

I’ve been using this app for 2 years to send books to my 93 year old grandmother across the country. She looks forward to them so much and all of her friends that visit ask how to get their family to start sending them. I highly recommend. It’s such a small thing to keep her in the loop and feeling loved and thought about.

Just stay away! Seriously. It worked great for two months...then suddenly it wanted me to upgrade, but I didn’t need to because I was on a monthly plan...I emailed customer service and it was over a week of back and forth (takes them days to get back to you). No resolution at all just ‘hey did u try this?’...so I go to the website trying to find a way to cancel this and it’s hidden in the most archaic place (nope not in your account...). They won’t even email you back in English!!! Hope you speak French!!! Just forget it. Great idea but HORRIBLE execution.

Love Neveo. Great idea but unfortunately the option to invite family to add to your photo book needs improvement. I wanted to add my sister in law and somehow her name was added to my network but she isn’t able to view the album or add photos to it. My other sister wasn’t even able to open the link on her phone. 🤷‍♀️ Other than that it’s great but that is a main feature that needs a serious update.

I bought two subscriptions, one for my mother and another for a dear older friend. They love it. It is so worth the money. I had been gone overseas for a year and a half. Mom saved them all. She gave them back to me and I suddenly realized I now had a beautiful picture journal for me, too. We got two birds with one stone!

My grandmother is in a nursing home and getting this book each month is her favorite! Thank you so much for creating this. Also administrators are very responsive if you have any questions or concerns. I’d actually like a link to share Neveo on facebook, so others could create one for their family members.

Now this will be her present for the year. I have 2 siblings so each of us is going to take a month quarterly. Then she will get a nice variety of pictures to have forever. She is not a digital person so having the hard copy pictures with the accompanying description is perfect!

This is so simple and easy to use. My grandmother cried when she got hers. She carried it around for a week to show everyone. We also subscribed for my bfs nana who complained we never sent her pictures. It is so easy to add family to the account. Our families have no issues adding photos. We love it!

Neveo has some crashing issues but has improved a lot in the past year. The photo album is a success every month with my grandmother, she loves it. It works really well for a big family with everyone living all over the country and the world. Keep improving!

I want to love Neveo because there is such a need for what they are offering but I ordered my first album in September and now it’s almost December and my grandma has yet to receive any of her albums. They desperately need to add shipment tracking since the majority of the time these are being sent to elderly in nursing homes. I keep holding on hoping that each month it will get straightened out but so far custom service just keeps telling me it should be there soon. Such a disappointment.

I’ve had Neveo since August 2018 to send pictures of my daughter to her great nan (from US to UK). It’s always great but this last month I didn’t even upload one photo and they still charged me. They should really have a minimum photos before they print it, what is she going to get? An empty magazine? Is she going to get nothing and I’m just out my last $10? I’m very upset and will be canceling my subscription.

App crashes on all my devices when accessing photo’s. De-installed, installed again, doesn’t fix it.

The website won’t allow me to access the service that way as I am on mobile and I should be using their app.

Great example of developers who don’t use the service themselves and are too “busy” to test their work.

Great idea when it works.

My parents are not on Instagram & I love that I can now connect to Insta thru Neveo and send them a monthly magazine! They were absolutely thrilled to receive their first issue and can’t wait for the next one! Very easy app to navigate as well.

I downloaded Neveo... tried to use it right away... AWFUL!
You can download 50pics, if it will allow you to. I tried three times and then gave up because Neveo kept turning off Neveo itself and sent me to a different page on my phone. I have an iPhone 6s, these things should not happen.
Not user friendly!
I received an email saying that the cost would be .99 euros rather than US cents...
Poorly organized and NOT FUNCTIONAL!
