- Remote device lock: Parents can remotely lock their child's supervised device whenever it's time to take a break.
- Location tracking: Parents can use Family Link to locate their child's device as long as it's powered on, recently active, and connected to the internet.
- Compatible devices: Family Link's tools vary depending on the child's device. A list of compatible devices can be found at families.google.com/familylink/setup.
- App updates: Children will not need approval to install app updates, apps previously approved, or apps shared in Family Library. Parents should regularly review their child's installed apps and app permissions in Family Link.
- Pre-installed apps: Some pre-installed apps may not be able to be disabled.
