So I was recommended this summer only cake by one of my coworkers who raved about how good it is. So I got it for my sisters birthday. When we got it the frosting appeared over whipped. The flavor of the cake was subpar at best, nothing special, and the berries in the filling were sour. I have to say I was very disappointing as I paid nearly 80$ for this cake including the tip :/ don’t think I’ll be coming back sadly

The cakes and cupcakes are AMAZING but SusieCakes is horrible. They wouldn’t let is sign in because it said that there was already an account. But when we were logging in they said the password and email was wrong and that there wasn’t an account for us😢

I’m a total sucker for a loyalty program. I wish the rewards offered were different, though. I’ve got multiple rewards sitting in my account unused because a discount off of a dozen cupcakes just doesn’t fit my pocketbook or my needs. I’d much prefer the chance to earn a free cupcake or slice of cake. When they do offer members freebies, I’m sure to go into the store, and I inevitably buy additional things. Also, I thik the functionality of SusieCakes is a bit odd- it’s up to the customer to tap multiple times for a reward to be marked as “Redeemed”. It seems like it would be better for there to be a barcode for the employee to scan or something. I think it’s really easy for a free item to be given without the reward actually getting marked as used in SusieCakes .

I think most people are rating the bakery and not the actual app. SusieCakes is a glorified webpage, most functions of SusieCakes bring you to the pages of the website or Toast rather than an in-app experience. SusieCakes is only to tap into rewards, not anything with ordering or viewing the menu, that requires the website and/or Toast app. Very clunky and poor design, but a small business so not too surprising.

Disappointed that the free birthday slice of cake has changed it’s rules. You used to get an entire month to use the free cake slice but now I had a week to use. Plus it wasn’t even my birthday week but several weeks before my birthday. Well now I save myself from buying a slice for my wife and cupcakes for my kids when I would go in. thanks for that

We always use this store as a go to and they are always on point. But this time was disappointing because they gave us the wrong pie. We ordered a pumpkin cheesecake and whipped cream on the side but received a pumpkin pie and no whip. They never mess up like this but like everyone else we expect what we order and pay for especially for the holiday. :/

I have found this Gem by trying lunch next door and bought a cake for one of my accounts which was the pineapple/coconut cream cheese and it was definitely talked about for days. Love this little cake, cupcake, cookie and more shop.

I absolutely love Susie cakes. It’s fresh, it’s moist and it’s so worth it. I would definitely recommend this for birthdays and weddings and any other special occasions. this app is also recommended for cheat days if your on a diet lol.

I’ve been getting cakes while, sliced, cupcakes, cookies and other treats for over 7 years from two different locations and they are always great

We stopped in today to get some cupcakes and Andrea was so friendly and chatty and Kathleen was so sweet & suggested I get SusieCakes for 2 free cupcakes!!- it’s so nice to come in to a place where they are so friendly and chatty and welcoming! And the cupcakes are the best!!!

I came in and was greeted with Welcome to Susie Cakes. I was unsure what cupcakes to order since this was my first time here and was not rushed. Amber finally assisted me in my order. She was very patient with me because I had two orders of cupcakes. One for my family with which I had 5 specific request for cupcakes and the second was very easy when I ordered a dozen which was perfect since you have 12 different types of cupcakes. Both orders were for my birthday but two different days. Amber informed me that for tomorrow’s celebration that I shouldn’t refrigerate the cupcakes. Which I wouldn’t have known and very helpful!! Thank you Amber for making my first specialty cupcake experience a great one.

I’m a sucker for bakeries! This bakery absolutely exceeded any expectations. The cakes are delicate and moist, the frosting is so delicious and has that amazing subtle crunchy outside. We order cupcakes and cakes frequently, do not always need an occasion to enjoy Susie Cakes!

Finally an organized and straightforward app. Everything here is just delicious and this gets you to sweetness that much quicker!

this app in Laguna Niguel always has the freshest desserts. The cake is really moist and the frosting is always unbelievably good. The employees there are the nicest ever, like Disneyland nice, everyone asks me if there’s anything I need and they go out of their way to make my dessert special for me. I highly recommend getting desserts from here if you want the best dessert and experience🥰

We are getting married in Feb 2019 and decided on cupcakes for our wedding! We purchased random cupcakes from Susie Cakes, Sprinkles and Magnolia Bakery. Susie won hands down! Thanks Susie for being in our hood and baking up these beauties fresh every day!!!! xoxo

Jaclyn at the Susie cakes on Luther Lane is absolutely the sweetest , she remembers all her customers and makes me feel like I am visiting my family member to pick up some yummy cupcakes. Thank you for all you do Jaclyn she real makes the experience 5 stars!

this app is my absolute favorite bakery in Marin. Usually I’m 100% happy with my order. Just now I got my free birthday slice. It’s so small. If I were paying for it I would definitely request a refund or larger piece. Perhaps the man who served me is new? Normally it’s a very good size portion. So disappointed.

I heard about this cake passing it from my job and everyone in the South Bay always raved about this cake. I went it for a taste and fell in love with the banana chocolate chip seasonal cake. I loved it so much I go every single month to try their seasonal cake and I also ordered my baby shower cake at susies and everyone loved it. Forever getting my cakes from here !

My family absolutely loves Susie cakes! We’ve been going since my son was about 6 and he’s now 23! Always get out bday cakes and cupcakes at Susie cakes!
