I tried using this app when I could not find my vehicle in an airport parking garage. The app never opened. Called Tech Support and he wasn’t able to get things working. He told me it showed on his end that the vehicle was moved at around 12:05 PM leading me to believe the vehicle is stolen since I had been gone for five days and submit a police report. After 45 minutes with Tech Support and searching for my vehicle in a hot garage. I finally found it on the next level up. Later, I called Tech Support back to express my displeasure and frustration. They told me the product is not always accurate and usually doesn’t work in a location like a parking garage. So totally worthless! I had no choice, but to spend nearly $400 on a worthless product that the Lexus dealership made me buy. They said I had no choice if I wanted the vehicle because it came with it.

Due to the cropping of the image, buttons you need to accomplish basic tasks are barely on the screen meaning you had better already know what they do. You get a very small sliver of button to press and no words.

You use the app to set a geofence. It saves every fence. After you do this 3 times you can’t go anywhere else without deleting one of the prior fences— which requires scrolling around on the map to find one of your old ones to select and delete. Very time consume. Only then can you mark the area around where your car is. Seems the app was designed for someone that only goes 3 places!

I have yet to understand how Apple calculates the ratings. Just scrolling through the last few months of ratings there is no way this app gets a 4.xx. The app is junk their product is junk and the Terms of Service are absolutely atrocious. Make sure you read them thoroughly. Basically you pay for the system and then Kahu has unlimited and unrestricted use of the data they collect. They can use it for whatever purpose they see fit. Selling your route and habits to advertisers or giving it back to the dealer. Pretty deplorable practice for something that we are having to pay for on our new cars. I have yet to find an insurance company in Georgia that offers a discount for having this invasive product on my vehicle. Most consider this devices a passive system and categorize it much as they do an alarm system. If my vehicle was stolen, with as flakey as the system is, we have a better chance at just stumbling onto where the thieves hid the vehicle than actually locating it with this trash device.
