IU Health Virtual Visits Reviews

It’s Memorial Day. Doctor office is so I decided to give this a try in the comfort of my own home in my Jammie’s. That alone is a bonus because I really don’t want to sit in a doctors office. I filled out all the questions, gave detailed info and pics. Had a face to face visit. It’s similar to Face Time. Got my scripts sent to the pharmacy and I am one very happy camper 😂. I did wait about 40 minutes which isn’t bad at all considering it’s a Holiday and most Doctors are closed today. Definitely was much quicker than a drive and sitting in a waiting room with a host of germs I don’t want😂. Try it, you will love it!

I loved this service. It was easy to sign up. I only waited 5 min and didn’t have to leave my house to be exposed to other illnesses in a doctors office. The doctor I chose was very kind, compassionate and made me feel at ease. I had a UTI and was able to receive an antibiotic called in. The price was so reasonable too. Much better then visiting my convenient care in my area. I will definitely use again and appreciate this service for minor ailments I may need in the future.

The first time I used IUHealthVirtualVisits , I was unable to do video connection but was able to talk with RN over phone. She was kind, knowledgeable, answered all questions and guided me through what was to happen next.
Today, Emily was amazing! We were able to do web visit. She was patient, supportive and again guided me through the next steps. Both times my anxiety was put to rest by the nurses conducting the virtual visits.

I am proud to say I work with RN’s who show such compassionate care to their team members during this COVID19 crisis!

I have had to use this Virtual service twice now. As per the advice of my cardiologist’s nurse I set up IUHealthVirtualVisits a few days before the appt. on the day of the appt when logging in I had to change my password. Just one day after downloading and sitting up IUHealthVirtualVisits I had to change my password ???? Not Good. Now 2 weeks later and I had an appt with my Primary Dr and before I could get connected I had to download new changes made to IUHealthVirtualVisits , and after the download the stupid system made me change my password again. Enough Is Enough with changing the password!!!!!!!!! If I have to use the Virtual Visit app again and it makes me change my password I will not do it and I Will Don’t Use IUHealthVirtualVisits Ever Again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have reactive airway disease and it was a weekend and my regular doctor was not available and I found out I was at a prescription refills on my inhaler. I thought of virtual visits and it was so thorough and so convenient that I got the matter taken care of and I do believe that I received the same quality of care that I would’ve received in the office this is amazing I will be back when I need to be seen on a weekend again

Loved IUHealthVirtualVisits! I called and filled out all the info in less than 5 min. I sat on hold in the “waiting room” for a few minutes, but then spoke face to face with a nurse who answered all my questions and problems! It was fantastic, put my mind at ease and made me more confident in how I was feeling and what steps I should take next.

Appreciated the ease of use and intro video. Excellent service from provider - Thank you, IU Health for creating an app that allows us to do screening without having to go in to an office!

Only downside is not knowing 1) if you can leave the “waiting room” to use your phone for other purposes while waiting (maybe a note to users about that would be helpful), and 2) knowing when the camera and mic would be accessed - assumed when the appt began, but a note on how that would work would’ve been helpful.

Everything worked really well except for there was no option to use the back of the phone camera. It made it really difficult to show the doctor the stitches when I had no idea where the camera was aimed. I just had to guess and use the doctor’s feedback. Other than that, it was a great app.

I love the IU virtual app so much! I wish this would have been an apt ion years ago! I struggle to get to dr appointments because of work, school, and having small children. This makes life soooo much easier! And every dr I’ve had the pleasure of talking to so far has been wonderful!

It took several tries to complete the check-in and be added to the queue. Each time, I was bumped off IUHealthVirtualVisits and would have to start all over again. Ver frustrating. Once I was finally in the queue and not kicked off, I appreciated the update about how many people were in front of me for that provider.

This was the best appointment ever. It took just a few minutes. No scheduling or waiting. I feel too sick to go to a clinic (and most places direct you to an ER due to covid) which means you’ll be there at least a few hours. I got to stay in comfort and get treatment I needed quickly.

I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Billie Zody very much. She is amazing, I have adored her since she delivered my first son in 2016. I understand the need for virtual visits and for simple reasons this was incredibly convenient. However, I do not want to diminish the importance of in office visits and would prefer a face to face when at all possible. Again, annoy speak highly enough about Dr. Zody, she is wonderful 🙂

Doctor Moser handled the whole visit with the utmost respect, concern, and thoroughness! This was my first virtual visit and to be able to talk with her about my symptoms and the progression of my health was not only easy but also fun! The fact that the doctor is able to send my pharmacy more prescriptions is a blessing! Thank you IU Health!

For common, acute health issues I will never leave the house again. This was the most efficient Dr. visit I have ever had. The wait was made so much easier because I was able to do it in the comfort of my home. Do not expose yourselves and or your family member needlessly. Try this service first. I’m confident you will love it too!

I tried going to my local urgent care and was turned away at two different locations because it was too late. The last one gave me the virtual visit flyer and I decided to give it a try. It was the best experience ever!! The physician was amazing. Thank you!!

I love having this option for things like my son getting poison ivy, but I wish it retained my address and card number (I was using for the same child I used it before), that is my only complaint.

Dr. Wang was extremely professional and helpful. He took the time to evaluate my neck range of motion and was clear and precise with his explanation for the best plan of action for my pain. I would highly recommend him and will choose him again should something arise in the future.

This was a convenient way to get a prescription for my strep on the weekend. The nearest Urgent Care is 30 mins away, and I didn’t want to drive that far. I didn’t have to leave my house for the doctor to look at a picture of my throat, diagnose it, and send in a prescription to my local pharmacy.

I hated IU health before for monopoly in taking all our doctors but now due to corona virus it made me appreciate them and change my mind. They are doing a great job for Hoosiers against this virus. They are well organized. This virtual screening is not only a life saving App but keeps our medical stuff not exposed and keeps the virus from spreading. Thank you

I cannot believe how easy this was! Being able to get help over the weekend and start meds right away instead of waiting until Monday is a huge plus!!

Fanatic way to get medical advice and help (in my case,for poison ivy). Thorough conversation with the doctor, who was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I will definitely use IUHealthVirtualVisits more often! Seeing a doctor in the comfort of my own home was fabulous!! SO CONVENIENT and saved SO MUCH TIME!!
