I love the love that the Ooni people show towards this whole passion of pizza making.
They sell you a fantastic stove, but that’s not all you get! Most companies forget about you at that point. But Ooni continues to send videos, recipes, pointers, accessory updates, new ideas….on an on. In a good way. I love the calculator on OoniPizzaOvens . Thanks so much for sharing this pizza passion, Napoli style, with the whole world. 💕

The dough calculator and instructional videos are a huge help. I’d give 5 stars if there were a way to save/bookmark/search recipes in OoniPizzaOvens . I know I’ll mostly use the oven for pizza, but it would be nice to have the option to do a quick search or spend an afternoon looking at recipes and save the interesting ones for quick reference.

Added one more star after the new changes to OoniPizzaOvens . The recipes are in categories now. Very helpful!

So, I’m guessing I’m the only American who’s bought the oven and uses OoniPizzaOvens ? How else to explain the lack of the English system of measures in recipes? Otherwise, I’d guess that the developers were either lazy or resentful of the fact that Americans (and many Brits) refuse to use the metric system. So, my suggestion is to quit trying to make a political statement and, instead, be respectful of the people paying large sums of money for your product. Otherwise, OoniPizzaOvens is actually very nice. But the recipe format is a real thorny problem.

All I can say is wow! This has been such a wonderful investment. I’m gaining weight from all the use I am getting out of my oven- but it’s so worth it because my wife thinks I’m sexy when I make pizza!! I bought the 16” wood fire and I have ZERO regrets.

Would like to see the Calculator (which is very helpful) have an option for choosing bread flour vs. 00 flour, as the hydration requirements are different. Also would be helpful to have a size range for the dough balls in addition to grams (e.g., 10” pie, 8” pie, etc). Lastly, having a volume measurement for the yeast (in addition to weight) would be good, as many scales are not sensitive enough to weigh 1/2 grams.

The access to recipes and the dough calculator are both handy. I’d add the option to choose pizza style. And clean up the proving time options and info button - bulk ferment (add a no-knead bulk ferment option), change Proof Hours to Final Rise.
Fellow Americans - you can’t use cups, must use weight as flour is compressible. And grams are easier to work with than ounces. Spend the $10 and buy a digital scale!

The dough calculator has some confusing information. For the field “Proof Hours” is that Total proof or just the room temperature proof? I first entered it as just the room temp proof, but then I opened the information button and it describes the “Proof Hours” as the combined times?

It would be better to have more precise increments in selecting the time as 18 to 24 is a big jump.

The instruction book and app opened the door to our Neopolitan-style pizza experience. The videos were very helpful.

We had some friends over for our first pizza party and invited each person to build their own pizza. Toppings included fresh basil, sliced mozzarella, pepperoni, sweet onion, chopped garlic and baby spinach.

Truth be told, our first pizzas were not perfectly round and uniformly thin…but, they were delicious and fun to create. The OONI gives us a new dining experience!

Genius! I can throw together pizzas but theres such a diverse range of things I haven't tried with true and proven results. I feel like I can’t go wrong. I always find new things to try

OoniPizzaOvens has been so helpful in knowing how to use this new oven. Love the recipes and videos. Wish I would have used it before my wife’s fancy cookbook for pizza dough making.

This all helps calculate exact amounts whether I’m planning for a large party in 2 days or dinner for four in 2 hours. There’s also great recipes for other variations.

Very easy to understand, the dough and sauce recipes are excellent. I am a first time Pizza maker and my very first pizza was delicious thanks to these recipes. I love my Ooni and I love the Ooni app. It app is a great complement to the product

This site give you some recipe to try with your oven Ooni. I like to make my own recipes but it helps me to find the right cooking time.

Love that the latest update added cold ferment option! My only complaint is the lack of pre-ferment option in the calculator :/

The Ooni has made my Neapolitan style pizzas many times better. Consistent cooking temperature and ease of cleaning and use.

Great and easy pizza oven to use!! We made perfect pizzas on the first attempt! Strongly recommend for those wanting authentic wood fired pizzas with an easy approach that is fun for family and friends.

OoniPizzaOvens is super useful. I use it at work and at home. If you care about great pizza, OoniPizzaOvens is an excellent tool for your arsenal.

Love OoniPizzaOvens - use it every time I make pizza ( once a week/every week). Great app for fine tuning your pizza dough characteristics.
