Amazing App!

I’m only 13 and am pretty new to periods. All my friends use apps to track their periods so I thought I would give it a try and see if I found one that was simple and easy to use. I downloaded SO many apps and didn’t find anything that I was looking for. One of my friends said I should try MyCalendar, and me still looking for one, gave it a shot. And I’m not even joking when I say that this is so easy to use! All you have to do is answer a few questions when you first get MyCalendar and it takes you straight to the calendar where you have a little guide at the bottom explaining what the symbols on the map mean. And the more data you put in, the more accurate it gets. The best part is that you can choose how you want your alerts to be sent to you. You can have them saying that your period is coming in a few days, or you can just have an alert saying that you have an event coming soon. And if you don’t want anyone snooping around, you can set up a password. And you have to put in the password to get into the calendar and all that. So if you want an easy to use tracker, I totally recommend this!

Great app with a single exception

My single exception is quite enough to render the stars for my case. I downloaded all the period apps. All of them. And I filled out my menstrual info as well as moods and symptoms in between in every single one of them for several months to test out which one was best for me. It was exhausting, took up a lot of time, mental energy, and ambition. It was also annoying.
But it came down to MyCalendar. As long as you keep up with it anyway. It has lots of useful if not neat graphs and charts that puts all your info in a visual prediction for you. My only disappointment is that in all the apps including this one, there is no option to choose that you are infertile. There is no collection of data anywhere that helps a lady out if she has a period but can concieve. It would be so nice if we didnt have to do a bunch more work than other women. Or at the least a toggle button to turn off anything related to becoming with child so that its not in the way for those of us that dont need it and have to literally work around it to figure stuff out. With that in mind this is the best menstruation/period tracker app for me. I also use it along side an app cal hormone horoscope. Its like a period prediction app for whats going on mentally during your stages of the month which is helpful for helping tomorrow have its best change against raging hormones. Together they are worth the effort for all the heads up, collected info, and recollection of past logs.

Super easy and convenient

Before I started using MyCalendar I had so much trouble tracking my periods. I tried using a physical calendar but always forgot to track it. I finally go So dang tires of not knowing how long it was since my last period and sometimes I would start when I was out and about. It was awful. I finally started looking for apps to help me track my period. I wanted something easy, quick, help track not only my period but also all my symptoms and most of all send me a notification that my period would start in a few days. When I mean a few days MyCalendar will remind you and give you a heads up about your period almost a week in advance. MyCalendar will also allow you to see the estimated times you will be on your period months in advance as well as seeing your period months prior.

MyCalendar is also helpful because I am an active competitive archer, shotgun, and pistol shooter. So, when I have a competition on a few months o can already be prepared and ready for the competition out of town.

MyCalendar is so amazing because I also swim for my daily exercise. So, I can know when I will be on my period and need to have my stuff
( tampons or whatever I need) with me in my gym bag.

I tried using other apps but kept coming back to this one. I’ve used MyCalendar now for almost 4 years and I love knowing when to expect my period and how long it will last. MyCalendar is amazing and I totally recommend MyCalendar for any girl/ woman who needs/ wants to track her period.

Best App I’ve Tried So Far For Period Tracking

I like that it’s easy to use and pretty accurate. Obviously it can’t be 100% correct all the time because everyone’s body is different, but they’ve been doing a pretty good job so far. I think it would be nice if MyCalendar created a sort of marker on the day where if your period is late you might be pregnant. Most people know it’s about two weeks after your missed period, but I think it would be a good idea for less informed women who are “romantically” active to help keep track of when they don’t need to worry so much until they should probably take a pregnancy test if they haven’t already. I really do like MyCalendar though, I’ve tried a variety of period trackers and this is the one I’ve decided to stick with. There aren’t a ton of annoying apps popping up making it easier to use than other apps, plus it ensures privacy by having you create a passcode in order to see your information. I like that it allows you to customize it with different colors and I really like how when they updated MyCalendar with the new calendar setting they made it so that each individual could choose weather to use the old or new one.

Great but the is one issue

I am 13 and I love how customizable MyCalendar is and also love how accurate it is, but I have one issue. Although you can turn off the things about pregnancy and sex in the settings, people that are youong and get their period like me when I first downloaded MyCalendar and didn’t know what sex was they will ask their parents what it is when they set up MyCalendar like I did and get in trouble for accessing something like that and get grounded like me and Greg app gets either deleted or the parents are supper mad about it, so please add a feature to where it asks how old you are and if you are under like I’d say 15 to turn of the pregnancy and sex features automatically and it like asks for your birthday and every year on your birthday it reveals more information in the settings. Please take my ideas and use them, I love MyCalendar and I would love it to get five stars as a rating but I am forced not to give it five stars because of that one issue, developers, don’t think I hate it, it’s one of my most loved apps on my p home please don’t think I f don’t like it because I love it. Thanks so much for making this awesome app!!!!!

Love this app!

I really love MyCalendar, I am kinda new to periods I have only had 4 and I am about to have my 5th because of MyCalendar I know that. A ton of my friends suggested clue like, “oh it’s so good and easy to use!” I like seeing the actual calendar as the main screen and I live how you can design it with clue you cannot do either of those things. With clue I felt like I had to track things besides my actual bleeding and with MyCalendar I can leave it alone and then just tracking my bleeding and another thing I love is a week before my period is scheduled to start it will ask if it did start. It will also tell you that you are late! I have younger siblings that like to go on my phone so being able to lock it and have your notifications disguised is great!! I’m not sure if you ask this or not but you should ask our age and purpose of why we are on there, I am not bothered by this but some people don’t like seeing the pregnancy things, again not sure but I juts saw that in another comment. Totally recommend MyCalendar!!

Am I about to start? Am I pregnant?

Like most women , I’ve asked myself almost every moth..”when did I start last ? “ then you start Going through your phone to see if you can pin point your last complaint of painful cramping to a friend or your pal you have similar cycles with if they remember there start date? Ever since downloading MyCalendar I truly feel prepared of when I may start and if and when I may need to test for pregnancy . (2kids are enough for us right now ) I love MyCalendar because you can custom to your cycle to effectively pinpoint fertility and when you may need to test for that baby bean. MyCalendar also allows you to add your mood or other notes etc which is helpful when or if you become pregnant . Somethings you want to share with a doc certain info but you may have forgotten like if your drank too much (while unknowingly preggo) or started having uncomfortable but very real symptoms of medical female wellness issues. MyCalendar helps keep you on track for a better, healthy , prepared life ! Highly recommended

Great for teens! ❤️ SUGGESTION

After one logged cycle, it predicted mine perfectly. It allows u to log symptoms multiple times a day. has the option for abstinence mode, which is what i was looking for. You can change the reminders to be less noticeable, and add a password!! It also allows you to customize the theme, and make it less girly. The premium version is unnecessary in my opinion, the free version is good. You see patterns in ur mood throughout ur cycle.
suggestions:
- a section to get reminders about drinking water, or a symptom called dehydration.
- a more user friendly stats page is my suggestion, maybe a timeline for each category (flow, mood, medicine, etc.) would be nice instead of having them all in one timeline.
Awesome app, I haven’t tried the other period tracker by the same people, but this one seemed to be more in depth, and had less mentions to the premium version. I recommend this to anyone starting their period, or who has had it for a while.

The Best yet

I really love MyCalendar. I have been using it for awhile now and it is pretty accurate. No annoying ads, very customizable and easy to read. It would be nice to get a little interaction for those that are romantically involved to know when they have possible worry free days to enjoy intimacy. Maybe have it highlighted or maybe put cute stickers in the days or emojis. It would also be nice to see potential fertile days in a vibrant color. Just so you and MyCalendar are aware of what’s happening in your life. I havent seen another app so on the money with accuracy. I don’t take birth control right now and MyCalendar has been spot on with fertile and non-fertile days. I know nothing is 100% but MyCalendar has been my Ace. It would also be nice if there was an area you can select the number of times you were intimate that day or for that week and if you had any issues like pain or spotting or dryness. Just a thought!

Best period tracker

Hi I am only 11 and I absolutely love MyCalendar I have had my period for a little over a year now and MyCalendar is a lifesaver I have had MyCalendar for about four months now and I love it I love how you can turn off all the pregnancy stuff since that’s not a concern for anybody my age I also love how you can change the theme and kind of customize it a little bit!

PROS-easy to use, free, you do not need the premium to get any of the stuff that is necessary to have, you can track your mood/symptoms, Great for all ages since you can change having pregnancy settings birth control pills and stuff like that, and I really love that you can change the theme so you can really have it how do you like it!!!!

CONS-it takes about three periods to Get your cycle prediction correct but you would expect that with any app, and surprisingly that’s all the cons!!

Overall great app and I would recommend it even if you’re just starting your period or if you’re 30 it’s just so helpful even if you already have a predictable cycle and you track it on the calendar this just makes it 10 times easier because it can pop up a little reminder saying hey your periods coming or if you don’t want that then you can choose the one option where it says my calendar has a notification and and that is it, it is still so so helpful and I love MyCalendar !!!

I would highly recommend MyCalendar!!!

Great app

I would really recommend. You can choose very personal preferences like the first day of the week or like 24hr or 12hr. Yes great app to help with period and pregnancy. It tracks just everything you can think of. If it’s your first time on your period this helps to figure out when your cycle is, when you are fertile, ovulating, when you are expected you have your period and when your period is. MyCalendar has helped me a lot. It is very close in guessing the day when your period will be. It has even more features! The one thing that I would like to see (being on the younger side) is that I would love to have more themes. I
Love the ones that are already there but I love options. But that’s minority and it has nothing to do with the effectiveness of MyCalendar . I suggest that you get MyCalendar and check out more of the amazing features and the easier life is (with your period)!

THE BEST

I have used several period tracking apps, some of which I had to pay for. This is the best by far and it’s free, easy to use, looks nice, and is DISCREET!! You can choose to have your notifications pop up as “calendar events” and only you will know what it actually is. It also allows you a pin lock so only you can see your information. It allows you to keep track of fertility, ovulation, when your next cycle will be, how long each cycle is, and also allows you to put in when you are intimate and if you used protection or not. You can put in notes in case you need to bring something up at your next doctors appointment, or are just keeping track yourself. I may have missed some awesome features but I would highly recommend downloading. This is the only tracker I will ever use. Ps. Don’t forget to backup your data to your email in case you change devices!

Okay but there is one problem 🤔

So my mom introduced me to MyCalendar for feminine reasons. I started using MyCalendar to keep track and it worked pretty well. MyCalendar itself is pink and I would’ve liked if it didn’t stand out so much in case anyone was on my phone but that’s just me. It’s not a complaint it’s just a small request. MyCalendar lets you pick your background or wallpaper for MyCalendar . I’m kind of a Tom boy and I would like to change it to maybe a blue background but it doesn’t let me. I mean I could learn to live with it. I’m 11 years old and it asks what sexuality you have. And I don’t want to be exposed to that type of stuff. I hope that you will take this to your interest and maybe like ask for the person’s age that way you won’t be exposed to something you are not ready for. Like it should probably ask for the age and as you get older it lets more options into the settings. I hope this helps 😊

Love it

I’m 13 and I started my period when I was 11 and I always had no idea when my period would come so I would leak or have stains in my underwear and have to throw them away well I said to myself why not get an app to track my period well I looked through and I say MyCalendar and I was like why not let’s give it a shot. Well I download it and it was so easy to access and you just had to answer a few questions and it brings you right to the calendar and tell u how everything works well I started using MyCalendar for a couple of months and I love it!!! This is such an helpful app and it’s so accurate and I love how you can have themes but one issue I had was I never got an notification for when it comes so that’s an issue I had and I made sure my notifications were on for MyCalendar but just didn’t work but overall this is and great app and I use it alll the time. If you want MyCalendar you should totally get it

It’s helpful

The prediction is a tiny bit off, it pegs the start of my period on my heavy day, so I assume the light bleeding will start the day before my predicted period date. This might be because I still have to fiddle with the prediction values a bit. Still, what I have is helpful because I can take ibuprofen before I’m cramping and it helps lessen them a bit.

I’ve always been pretty good at guessing my own cycle enough to know which week on the calendar to expect blood. I got MyCalendar to see if it was as accurate as I am, and it lets me zero in on an actual date.

I use it for period tracking, not specifically fertility, but I think it would be helpful for people trying to track fertility, too. Now I don’t have to worry a ton about “will I get my period for this event I’m going to” and now I can say “yeah, I’m gonna have it, so let’s pack some pads.”

It has helped me so much!

I love MyCalendar, I was skeptical at first about tracking my period and other symptoms but MyCalendar made it easy and pretty. I understand my body and myself so much better thanks to MyCalendar; and I like that it works offline. I would like to suggest a list view, where we see a summary of what we have logged in for the day under the calendar rather than the only option be going into a different window all together without being able to see the whole month; like in the iphone’s calendar app. Just trying to add an easier way to have an idea of how the month been; even then MyCalendar still does what is intended to do and very good at it.

Edit: they made a major update to MyCalendar and it shows they listen to feedback! Happy with all the new good stuff 😊

Love this app

I love MyCalendar so much. It is very easy to use. I’m 12 and started it close to Christmas. With MyCalendar it let’s you edit reminders and way more. With MyCalendar I was able to understand my period better than before. It lets you choose the time of reminders and what kind of reminders. It even gives you theme choices. You can even choose for the reminders to say “ your period is due...” or “upcoming event”, you also have a password for those of us with a friend or brother / sister who are prone to snooping through your phone. Overall MyCalendar is great and I hope you choose to download it and like it. If it is inaccurate you can predict your period your self. If you didn’t know your period is usually 28 days apart this is coming from a medical standpoint.

Love Both Of Them

I was scrolling down the search results and I noticed that the creator made another app EXACTLY like this except the design is red and not pink. I have both but don't know which one to keep lol 😂 but MyCalendar is great I really like it!!!!!! But my period is irregular so I don't know how the accuracy of the predictions will be like, guess I'll just have to find out.

Update: I have been using MyCalendar ever since I for my first period when I was 13, now I’m about to graduate high school. MyCalendar used to be new and simple, now with new updates omg the color changing option is so cool. I highly recommend this, I know CLUE used to be a popular app but it's too too simple and I need to track more stuff than what CLUE offers. If you value simplicity yet ease of use, this is MyCalendar for you.

Great App!

My Calendar is really helpful. It tracks your period, gives you reminders for pills, and much more. You can select how you’re feeling during your period and what symptoms you’re having. Although I have not been using MyCalendar for long, it has been so much easier to track my period with. I’m only 13, so I really enjoy how you can disable the intimate options until necessary. I also enjoy how you can have a password to access all of your data, and how you can choose what your notifications look like (being that a lot of people pick up my phone for some reason). I know this is a short review, but overall, MyCalendar is probably the best period tracker for teens (and adults too!). I absolutely love it! 😘

By

Amazing

This is really helpful especially if your like me and can’t remember something for longer than 10 minutes, I really recommend it and what’s cool is you can do your symptoms and choose a theme for the background(there is a Christmas one) and it’s 99.9% correct just sometimes I mark the wrong day but that’s ok 👍 this is my favorite one (app) so far because all the other ones aren’t like this one. I have used this for almost 2 years and I got it randomly one day when me and my sister were just talking on the phone and one of our random ideas was to get a tracker for our periods, since we didn’t have a tracker yet I just guessed and a lot were very wrong 😂 I’m very thankful for MyCalendar thank you! ❤️

By

Awesome App!

Unlike other Apps, this one is way less annoying and provides the features I need and want to track: my periods, moods, symptoms, sexual activity, temp, & weight! It also has pill & ovulation reminders you can set up & it will discreetly remind you when you’re due for either or for your period to start, if you set it up that way. I’m SO glad I chose MyCalendar. And I tried it with a couple other ones when I got my phone. The other two were more aggravating.
And since I’m 41 and may be getting into peri-menopause, it’s really useful to me, to help me track everything! THANK YOU, Developers!!!

Update: As of October 2019, MyCalendar has seemed to have stopped sharing data with my iOS Health App because my Health App is asking me if I’ve had a period since then. I checked all my phone Settings & everything is checked open to share with Health, so I’m not sure why it’s stopped.

Love this, but a little feedback

I’ve been searching for the perfect calendar for myself, and this one is by far the best one, it is so pretty, and very helpful, I feel like it is in a way guiding me through my period, and it kinda makes me feel safe....idk that just sounded weird, the only thing is that I think it would be amazing if it had a few things

As a thirteen year old girl, I was very well educated on what a period is, and how to handle it, but I know that In some places people aren’t well educated on this matter, I think that on the period app you should have a video explaining what a period is, and what to do when you have it, if the user has already had this talk they can just hit a simple skip at the bottom, another thing that would definitely help is if they gave you a list of which type of tampons/pads to get, it you flow is large get the “heavy duty” tampons, or things like that. It would also be nice to be able to customize your own background.

Wonderful App

I am a teenager girl who just started her period and while I know they have period apps for young girls I found that I liked MyCalendar the best. It is easy to navigate and get the hang of. I prefer MyCalendar to any other that I have tried. Although at first it was tough because I just started my period at the time and I didn’t have any dates as to when I start, I didn’t enter in anything and just went from there. MyCalendar also lets you track all kinds of things, such as pms and birth control. I also like the fact that whenever you enter in MyCalendar it asks you if you have started your period, this feature makes it a lot easier to track your period in a rush. Also because I am so young my period is all over the place but MyCalendar just goes along with me. So yeah I love MyCalendar.

By

Love it! but I wish there were birth control options!

I love how easy MyCalendar is to navigate! I like the calendar view and the ability to make note of different symptoms on any given day.

There are many types of birth control, and I wish there was a section under settings and “My cycle” where you could select what type of birth control a person has. I have an IUD so the little “Birth control pills” portion is useless to me. I just have to go in and add it under the “Medicine” section instead each time.

I think have the ability to choose your birth control type (none, pill, IUD, arm implantation, depo shot, etc.) would better personalize MyCalendar to the user. Especially if a person has tried multiple types and is trying to find the best fit for themself.

Good options for Symptoms! Not enough extras to the app though!

MyCalendar does have the most options in regards to moods and symptoms than all the others, believe me, I’ve tried them.
What is upsetting, is a lot of women use this as a PMS or PMDD symptom tracker, like me, because that’s the ONLY way a physician will diagnose. So now before my appointment, I literally have to sit down and right out each day on paper for the past 3 months!!! Super frustrating they don’t have an option to print?? It really doesn’t make sense to have any kind of symptom tracker without options to print for your doctor’s opinion.
Also, they for sure need more notification options, which would be great for the my “normal” days, and I forgot to document my “normal” day symptoms. There is another app, called EVE, they have notifications, and I really do like that!!!

By

Beautiful

I love the look and feel of MyCalendar. I have downloaded A LOT of apps trying to replace one I have been using for several years but is no longer supported by my phone. I 100% agree with the previous poster in that while the ads are the least obstructive and disrupting of any I have tried, I would love a flat-fee, paid, ad-free option! The only other suggestion I would have is to have the option to change the default to “days until” vs “day of cycle” in the main screen circle. I don’t typically track my “day of” but like to know how many days until without having to flip screens. Aside from that I love MyCalendar, thank you so much!

By

Awesomeness!!

Love MyCalendar! I’ve tried many other popular apps to track my irregular cycle and they never seemed to have what I needed to help me like your app does. Not only does it ask me if it’s my last day which is awesome in itself, it keeps track of everything I need to know and it’s got pretty backgrounds to choose from.

Only one small thing, having an update. I saw that it’s been 5 months! As I’m sure you know having newer model phones and or constantly getting them updated means having updated apps or it slows down your phone. You would have even more customers using MyCalendar as well😊

By

Super Helpful

I’ve been using MyCalendar for about a year and am very happy with the accuracy of its predictions. My favorite thing about it is that it alerts me about my cycle beforehand so that I’m not caught off guard.

If I could make two suggestions for an even more helpful version, I would add “mood alerts” based on what mood I’m likely to experience during the week, and also I would make it possible to share my mood alerts with my husband so that he could look out for signs of PMS.

Not that this destracts from the efficiency of MyCalendar , but I find the flowery graphics old fashioned and probably not appealing to younger women.

Nervousness about your period

This is my first year with menstruation (period) and i was soo nervous! All you other girls out there, don’t be afraid!! it’s normal for every female and a healthy sign. I just got MyCalendar today and i love it!! i’m only 13 soo this is really new to me. I downloaded a bunch of apps and didn’t like the format but i saw My Calender and loved it.. it’s really helpful to know when your period is coming and you can get prepared, and the format makes it easy to know what your going to click on. I highly recommend MyCalendar! All you girls out there i feel your pain. You are not alone! :)

By

🤪The Best (so far) Tracker!!!🤪

I honestly love this period app. It helps me track everything... I got my period last summer and this makes my life easier and better. My favourite part is that you get to have a password! I have friends that sometime take my phone and snoop around, so this makes it that much harder for them. I have a suggestion though: It would be nice if MyCalendar had a QnA. Like to say, If I have a question about my period or whatever I would click that option and it would help find info. MyCalendar is awesome already though!

By

Pregnancy mode

The only thing MyCalendar is missing is a pregnancy mode.

I’ve used many different trackers over the years and this one became my favorite. It’s simple very easy to use and it had met my needs until I found out I was pregnant and had my baby then it became useless.

Once I became pregnant I stopped using it for obvious reasons but when it was time to start tracking my period again the tracker was still tracking my previous cycle but since giving birth my cycle has changed and the tracking predictions of my cycle, period, ovulation and fertility is completely off.

id love to continue using MyCalendar but as a woman who plans to continue growing my family MyCalendar isn’t conducive to my needs anymore and I sadly find myself needing to look for different app to use.

I’m hoping the developers decide to add a pregnancy feature sometime soon so and I’ll check back periodically to see if they have but until then I’ll be using another period tracker that fits my needs.

2 Pros, 2 Cons

Two things I like and two things I would change: Like #1, The beautiful watercolor art that there is to choose from. Like #2, It is fairly discreet; there is nothing on the icon or title that says “period tracker” on my iPad main screens. Dislike #1, I want to be able to see, at a glance on the calendar page, whether it was a spotting day, regular flow, or heavy flow. This is important information at different stages of our life, especially with break-through bleeding. And I don’t want to have to tap on each day to see what it was. Dislike #2, I am hoping there will be the opportunity to purchase MyCalendar for a dollar or two and get rid of the ads at the bottom.
