TacoCabana is a joke. It seems that TC doesn’t want you to earn any rewards. I went in the a few days ago & spent $50, my mistake was that I forgot my phone in the car but I figured “who cares” I can always just scan my receipt & get my points that way. Noooooo, my app kept saying it could not scan my receipt, it’s either expired (it was the same day folks), duplicate, or my internet. I’m rolling my eyes here. I then tried contacting them, NOPE not a go. I sent an email through TacoCabana AND the website. I then get an email, HOW WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE, want to do a survey. HECK YES! Still nothing. I did this for 3 days. NOTHING. What a joke!!! With COVID & folks losing money, you would think you would get some type of customer service to keep you coming in & spend your hard earned money. Looks like I’ll be spend it some place else. Bye TC

- App never allows me to scan the barcode at the bottom to collect points, so I always have to enter the barcode number manually.
- App doesn’t allow the option for you to pick up your online order through the drive-thru, only curbside and in-store pickup.
- App doesn’t allow you to purchase alcohol by itself or even view what types of alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. You have to tap on the “Food and Alcohol” button and select a food item just to be able to view what alcohol is available.
- All food items don’t show up under the “Food and Alcohol” section, which makes it impossible to order certain foods and alcoholic beverages together.

Example: I want a Cabana Sampler and a frozen margarita. The Cabana Sampler doesn’t show up in the “Food and Alcohol” section and because there is also no section on TacoCabana for you to view/purchase alcohol separately, I can’t order these two things online together.

I love TC and their food but TacoCabana could be better. I have to spend $75 just to get a $5 reward, that can only be used once?!? I’m just one person and it took me forever to to spend that much money there. The rewards is definitely good for people with big families but for an individual person it’s pretty hard unless you’re going everyday.

I love this app so much. I get it whenever I can. But I never get it at the one in Kyle, which is a shame because I live just a couple minutes from there. I’ve waited over 30 minutes in the drive-through when there are only about six cars. There customer service is also very poor. There are a handful of friendly employees, but the other ones will barely give you the time of day. Wish they would redo management and fix this location.

I just downloaded TacoCabana and I’m already disappointed. I tried adding carne guesada tacos to my order but I got an error message saying they aren’t served until 9 am (I was trying to place my order at 6am). I decided to not order thru TacoCabana , went directly to the restaurant to order, employee sounded confused when I asked if they were serving carne guesada.

Although TacoCabana is easy to navigate, it is not user friendly. The tech team needs to review TacoCabana . Every time I make an order, I have to make changes to the order instead of keeping it as it is on the menu. This is required by TacoCabana !! Adding and deleting payment methods cannot be done via account info in TacoCabana . I can only add a payment method at the time of checkout. The tech team just needs to review TacoCabana and make adjustments.

It’s significantly slower to receive order after ordering through TacoCabana than just ordering at drive through. TacoCabana has a waiting period before it sends order to store (20-40 mins)

Can only order canned drinks. People that do not order through TacoCabana do not share the same limitation.

TacoCabana is junk, we have to go to the restaurant and go wait to order because y’all don’t have everything on TacoCabana . Additionally when TacoCabana wasn’t working we were told order over the phone is illegal 🤪. So now when you are in a hurry we will waste time waiting on your incompetence. The ranchero plate is missing off TacoCabana . The carne guisada is missing of TacoCabana for breakfast. The All Day Breakfast tab is gone 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷‍♀️ so annoyed with how y’all run this company.

In store you can add extra protein (beef or chicken) for an additional cost to nachos and taco bowls. However this is not an option on line and stops me from using the online ordering. My husband likes extra protein so I’m forced to order instore. Could this be added?

TacoCabana works smoothly, accept for the fact that they offer special request/written comments but then it fails to add that to the order . It just won’t submit the order period

Today when I try to sign in, the error message is “Something Went Wrong Favorite location can’t be blank”. There’s nothing on the sign in that asks about a favorite location. On the web I selected my nearest location (literally about a five minute drive up the road from my neighborhood). Such a shame. I would order TC more often if TacoCabana worked.

Let me write a review of the restaurants without making me input a whole story on myself.

Your store on Yale in Houston is awful. The food and staff are sloppy. Equipment is in disrepair. One visit and it is obvious. Please change out the management or close it. This is type of store is destroying your brand. I’ve seen good in New Braunfels.
I live near this store and my comments are based on numerous visits. You should send my comments to your CEO.

TacoCabana is okay for keeping track of your points, but the receipt scanning (barcode scanning) hasn’t worked in weeks lately.... also it’s impossible to order a salad in TacoCabana , the great entree that it is it’s only possible to drive thru order or inside... salad comes without rice and beans but with a side of guacamole, making it a perfect keto friendly item...

Taco cabanas app used to be amazing there were no issues now you have to earn you have to spend $75 just to earn a five dollar reward!?! That is horrible! It used to be every $25 spent you got a five dollar reward. Why would I want to spend close to $100 just to get a five dollar coupon! Guess I won’t be using Taco Cabana anymore. Fix this and reward your loyal customers!

Ordered meal last night, app went working. Junior was a very friendly employ made my order correct

TacoCabana , even after you choose a restaurant location, doesn’t show the price with the item. So if used, they force you to choose your items and after you do and are ready to pay, it shows you the price. This is crazy!! This restaurant is fast food and is chosen for prices. This is not ninfa’s and even they include the prices on the menu!

Tried getting food delivered to me and was about to pay $10 in just fees. Ordering through TacoCabana saved me money and was super easy.

App was very user friendly and so convenient.

You start an order and decide to change store? do your selections again
You want to increase the count of an item? TacoCabana needs to “think”, frustrating
You don’t get the password reset e-mail until you try several times.
Honestly, hire better developers…

TacoCabana will let you put your whole order in the virtual bag and then tell you that the store is not doing curbside right now. App needs to be revamped to tell you when curbside ordering ends so you don’t waste your time! Has done this to me several times. Very frustrating!!!

Stop making me go they a recertifications process. This is annoying. It’s on my phone. You pulled my through your website to verify then go back to TacoCabana . Crappy experience and a waste of my time!

Second. San Pedro store near North Star Mall. End the test on the NO Sauce bar. When I come to your restaurant I don’t want to beg for sauce. As you can see by my record I used to eat there but have slowed it down. Ow Info to another location.

You realize my complaints are not with the product but corporate decisions. Get out of your people’s way and stop annoying long time loyal customers!

Why have to enter how many points you want to redeem when redeeming rewards?
Just let the cashier scan app and it will know if balance is sufficient.
I entered in $5.72 but my total was $5.27
It still calculated to use the correct rewards so entering how much you want to use is just an unnecessary Step and added friction.
Other than that it's been good so far besides a glitch in the barcode scanner that doesn't scan until you have it perfectly in a certain position.

TacoCabana insisted I update TacoCabana today which I did. Then it insists I verify myself with an email link. It’s 7:30pm and I’ve been requesting the email verification link since 9am. No it is not in my junk mail. It’s no where. They’ve never sent one though I keep requesting it. So now I cannot use TacoCabana to earn or redeem points.

I love taco cabana, I always get the steak bowl with black beans and rice. TacoCabana is pretty easy to use and sends me new coupons all the time.

TacoCabana was great for a couple of years and now I can’t get it to even open. Tried to uninstall and reinstall , no luck .

They have signs everywhere for a free quesadilla for signing up. They don’t give you one, and the employee couldn’t explain it even though there’s a huge sign about it!

Sadly the store we use is always listed as “temporarily unavailable” so can’t use it. Weak.
