Countdowntoaneventdayapp is ok if you aren't looking specifically for a widget which I was. The pictures show the option and there was no option for this. I assume it may unlock the option if you pay for pro but under the things it lists that you unlock with pro a widget is not one so I'm not going to pay $5 just to find out. Edit:at the time of my review your suggestion did not work. I tried that and ended up downloading a similar app and doing just that and it worked fine. So unless there was some update since then

They should disclose this up front. I don’t want a free trial or anything. No qualms about people making money from apps; but tell me so I can decide. There are plenty of alternatives and the pricing is expensive on this one. Stay far away. App deleted after this review.

P.S. If there was an option to use it without a sign up or something else, even with ads, the developer did a terrible job of making it it evident. You have my attention for seconds... make it count.

I have used this for a while now and really do enjoy the widget. I would like to have Years, Months and Weeks added to the countdown for longer term goals. Thanks for a very helpful app and widget.

Although Countdowntoaneventdayapp wanted a review rather quickly, I wanted to wait and let it prove itself. Now I can say I really like the countdown and all the many options I have to customize it/them. Way Cool!

I have been tracking a huge milestone for over a year and it is great to see the countdown. Others around me ask to see it down to the second every day

I want months also to show also.
I don’t recommend Countdowntoaneventdayapp.

My only complaint is I wish I could set my countdown as my lock screen so that I wouldn’t have to open it fully each time I wanted to see it.

Quick to use and set up reminders. So far so good. I like the choice of background options.

I did not see any “continue without pro” button so I am now going to delete Countdowntoaneventdayapp because I’m not going to get pro for an app I’m going to use not even once a month so I do not recommend Countdowntoaneventdayapp as a count down.😕

I’m waiting for a big event and this is a fun way to customize my countdown and have a cool reminder to share with others.

I’d pay a couple of bucks for Countdowntoaneventdayapp as it’s fun but an ongoing subscription in the $ amount listed seems a bit high for the low level programming required for a countdown timer. I don’t know, maybe I’m just cheap. App deleted.

I hate it when it always ask for full version purchase. There is limited access to backgrounds with the free version.

So, this is not a free app. Free to download, sure, but not free to use. $2/ week without a free version. Why would I pay for something when I don’t have the chance to mess around with it and see if I like it? I’m not going to import everything and set it all up for a one week trial. Furthermore, $8/ month for a countdown app? Really? Yikes.

Easy to set up like the option to add photos will be using it frequently

I was not able to get past the “pay for free trial/premium” screen to use Countdowntoaneventdayapp as-is. This is super unfortunate because it looks really good! Is there a way around that first screen??

Well, if one wants to keep track paying $1.99 a week for subscription, it’s up to them, although simple Numbers sheet does the job for no extra charge (and chances are, better). Point is, 3 days for free is far, far away from definition of Free.
Countdowntoaneventdayapp should state something like “free demo for 3 days” in its title.

Countdowntoaneventdayapp is great for keeping track of events. I’ve been using it for a few months and I love it.

Countdowntoaneventdayapp is amazing helps me keep track of special events.

Just installed Countdowntoaneventdayapp but I believe it will be excellent for my needs.
