Not as bad as some...

Hello, I am writing this review for the people who have not yet made a decision about weather to use Zoho Desk. In my opinion, as a user of many applications of this sort, I have found ZohoDesk really good and useful. It is not the easiest to use or initial setup, but I wanna point out that it is not nearly as difficult as other app’s I have found. The user interface is very bulky and does take a bit of time to get used to. Once I was in ZohoDesk and past the initial learning curve, I was easily able to move around ZohoDesk and locate my data quickly.
I have this system setup for a company that operates in the telecommunications industry. We develop our maintenance reports and installation orders through this system. I have found the Zoho Desk app works well for this scenario. I like the notification abilities and the options for ticket disposition. I would like to have a little bit more options for classifying tickets as they arrive. That could be possible, I might have to adjust the settings a little bit more. For the time being, I am satisfied with ZohoDesk and it’s operations.

It’s come a long way...and is almost there.

The Zoho development team has brought nearly all of the most needed features to the mobile app, and it is truly an effective way to manage tickets in the field at this point...with one painful exception—the timer does not work at all. If the screen is locked, or if you switch apps, it either pauses (which depending on how long you’re away from it can result in MASSIVELY inaccurate time records) or just loses track of the running timer altogether. I realize this is largely due to how aggressively iOS kills background tasks, but this is something the devs should work around, as iOS will never change its behavior on this front. Please just use time stamps to mark the timer start and calculate elapsed time from that rather than attempt to run a clock that is destined to fail. Fix this and I’ll give it five stars happily. Thanks to the devs for their ongoing efforts!

Both ZohoDesk and computer program is what I have been searching for years.

Need Tasks Tab

I need to be able to create and manage tasks without ticket. My company uses Desk for all its project communications and task management and I need a tab like “Activities” on the desktop version where I can manage my tasks independent of any ticket. As soon as this feature comes out this gets a 5 star because everything else in ZohoDesk is wonderful!

Super convenient

Very reliable, doesn’t crash. Only downside is it lacks the functionality of turning off the “your ticket has been closed” email when closing a ticket within ZohoDesk . You need to be on the desktop version.

Would also be nice to have a swipe to delete option rather than having to go into each message.

Easy, effective tickets.

ZohoDesk is an affect tool to create and manage service request tickets on your phone or tablet. The nice design allows you to check and update statuses without too many complicated menus. I am using the free Zoho Desk product and I’m happy with what it offers me both via the web and on my phone. I recommend it!

Not accessible

ZohoDesk has so much potential. However, all of the controls that are required to manage tickets are on labeled/in accessible. As a Tier II support person who happens to be visually impaired, I am unable to use ZohoDesk and must rely on the desktop/web browser experience for now.

Ok, But Not Complete!

For any app you should be able to do everything you can do with the desktop version. Can’t do approvals on ZOHO Desk mobile app.

Menus in all ZOHO One Apps are typically not the same. This is no exception. ZOHO programmers must program in a bubble without regard for any consistency access all ZOHO One apps.

Zoho desk changes the send from email automatically to another address

The fact that zoho changes the email address to some default email every time I respond create massive disorder. Double the tickets.

This happens only in the mobile app, not on the frack too.

App doesn’t work if the Desk instance is hosted in China

One of our Desk instances is hosted in China and ZohoDesk, unfortunately, won’t let me log into that portal. It’s a bummer. I was hoping I could run my China business the same way I could run my other businesses outside of China. 😔

Not only does ZohoDesk lack features from what a support person would need to access this from their phone, what it does do DOESNT WORK. I am tired of typing up emails and then getting an error message that the message can’t send for NO reason. Your app is trash.

Zoho fixed a bug that was reported very quick. Great developers.

Great to view and create quick tickets.

Great for catching up with tickets from Zoho Support. No crash issues on iOS 8.4. Perhaps incorporating report viewing could be useful to most.

Unable to Respnd

Since the update I’m getting an error message when trying to send a response to tickets. iPhone 7.

Crashes on iPhone X

App crashes when ticket is opened which has embedded image. Latest update didn’t fix it.

Needs work

The application is of course convenient.
However, the layout cuts off so much of the ticket words that the ticket views are useless. The layout needs a lot of redesign.

The layout also doesn’t match up with the ticket categories you define on desktop.

As usual lots of apps but very little consistency across them.

Great app but not for iPhone X

App works fine on iPhone X.
However, when I open the ticket that has attachment of picture, app crashes right away.

If this is fixed, app works just great !

Can’t assign

For some reason I can no longer assign tickets through ZohoDesk . It says it assigns, but when I refresh it goes back to the unassigned queue.

Not sure what is going on here.

App crashes sometimes when attempting to refresh data. I never get any notifications even though I have them enabled. Only get sound and badges and no actual notifications.
