Compatibility iOS 14

Please update compatibility for iOS 14. Can only view 1 work order before having to completely close out mHelpDesk , then re-open to see what I need to see. Swiping to my next day in the schedule and clicking a work order will show the same exact ticket every single time, until you close out mHelpDesk and re-open. This is a very big annoyance! Can only use the iPad as of right now which for me is not handy because your app doesn’t support landscape view! Please fix as soon as possible! And if your reading this I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max FYI. Stay on 13.x.x firmware this app users. Or you’ll be sorry, because now I can’t even roll back to any version of 13 whatsoever

No notes and have to constantly refresh

Some good features, but after using this for 6 months the problems are very frustrating. The customer can view the work orders, but when the contractor puts a note on, the customer cannot see it. One of the most important reasons for this website is to communicate with our customers. And mHelpDesk makes it more difficult. We have reached out to developer and they say the only way the customer can see notes is if you email them. Then why have the notes section? You developed mHelpDesk , and we pay good money for the service. Why can’t you reprogram for our use? And the other frustrating thing is you have to constantly refresh your screen after every single action. Closed work orders pop up and you can go into a different work order than what you selected. The cursor also disappears when you select a text box. And you don’t always notice it when you’ve already typed the entire note.

Good idea but definitely need a lot of improvement!!

I’ve been using this for 2 years and I’m not happy. They’ve promised to make changes and haven't. Definitely Need some updates to make this better. There has to be an option to select what staff has access to. For example the Activity/ private notes to only be seen by managers and admins not all staff since it shows all record of payments, every single employee can see our books.
When we make changes to the schedule it doesn’t sync properly to mHelpDesk which creates issues on jobs. It still shows employees on the list for the schedule that we got rid off several days ago.
Your system doesn’t properly sync with quickbooks like it’s advertised- this is more desktop related but is the main reason I got this in the first place. I have to manually adjust every single invoice in quick books it defeats the purpose of being able to sync.
Jobs can’t be scheduled for several full days or it tells employees they need to start a 12am.
a lot of Clients complain they are not able to pay online this hurts our business and productivity since we have to help them by calling and taking payments online.
Overall not unsatisfied with mHelpDesk or desktop.

Getting better

Had a lot of random restarts for a while there, but seems to be lessening in frequency. Still needs update to be able to go back and re-edit long paragraphs in the customer notes section. There is no method to move the cursor around (iPhone 6s) so for long descriptions you can’t get to the bottom.

We Pay Good Money, So Please Update

mHelpDesk is great. We’ve been using it for a little over 8 years now. The one thing that bothers me the most is that, they still have mHelpDesk looking like it was made for iPhone 4 or iPhone 5. It is 2019 soon to be 2020. Can you guys please take the tome to update mHelpDesk to fit bigger screen sizes. It’s kinda ridiculous that your app is still so old looking. this app classic and the new one both need to be updated, your services aren’t cheap when we have over 7 techs in the field. Listen to your customers regarding these reviews because it will go a long way in the end. Other then that, mHelpDesk is awesome and love the features. Elite Cuisine Service Department

I was put in charge of creating a service (All coffee equipment) department for my company. I needed a program that had a rough foundation for me to build on & MHelp Desk was just what the doctor ordered. We had over 1000 coffee machines & dozens of models out in the field. This program allowed me to creat service tickets, invoicing, inventory of all stock everywhere & a customer history for all staff to utilize.
It was a lot of work in the beginning. But, the help staff at MHelp Desk were always available to give assistant. I’m very please with the service I’ve been provided.

Works but still no updates

Managed to get my 30+ team of technicians to adopt this app(finally) but still no auto rotate for iPad pros using keyboards. I mean I’m fed up with begging for this feature from the development team for 6 months - it should already be implemented and clearly I’m not the only one asking for it. At least tell me it’s not possible or your working on it but don’t give me an update that doesn’t even mention the request. For a crm team using Salesforce to sell this app you should place our case at the TOP of your list so we can all be happy like this app should make us. I’ve literally had better responses from every other application developers who at least respond to requests even if it means making a custom solution that I have to pay for.

Terrible app - counterproductive for your business

As mentioned in the title, I would not recommend mHelpDesk. It is EXTREMELY slow to the point where it will not load my jobs list. I end up staring at a loading screen for several minutes before I can actually click on a job to mark as completed. This isn’t just one or twice. It happens every time I open mHelpDesk and has gotten to the point where I don’t want to use it at all because of the hassle. No other apps on my phone run this poorly.

mHelpDesk is also buggy and glitchy and will not run smoothly in any capacity. Don’t waste your time with this, there are more reliable methods of documenting your completed work.

Not MAC/apple friendly

I use this for work and notice issue when I use my IPhone. It’s very glitchy, constant syncing problems, I’ll close work orders but won’t show completed on web site using a computer. Making changes on a computer takes for ever to update sometimes on mHelpDesk for iPhone.(syncing problems) again tech support says. It easy to use and a lot better than other programs I’ve used but needs to be more flexible with other operating systems. Side note if you use a MAC computer use google chrome. this app doesn’t like safari as a web browser very much.

Do not use

mHelpDesk is a waste of time and money. I have sent screen recordings to tech support and they still can’t fix the issues. Our techs with iPhones and androids are having multiple issues. App crashes all the time. Items take forever to populate. Scope of work deletes its self in the middle of your report. I have finally talked my boss into getting a different program. I have never had this many problems with an app before. I have been using different apps for over 15years and this is the worst. I have used better performing apps on old blackberrys that worked better. So disappointing

I have a very bad experience with them I have found them through Home advisor shortly I cancel Home advisor account because I was so busy and I was stuck with this app because some unfinished contract – estimate
So I need them but after while disservice keep suspending my account because they couldn’t charge my credit card and nobody at that company knows why three time I was suspended without an advance notice because A shame and embarrassment front of my customer , this company and the people living there have not ever provide A reason why my account has been suspended , even for cancellation I have to begging !!! To me mHelpDesk /Company is big No

Used to be pretty good..

Worked with the software for close to 4 years. They haven’t updated mHelpDesk in a very long time. They continue to disable features on the desktop web version. Not sure what’s happening. They used to have a feature request page. Events stay in mHelpDesk calendar forever, even after deleting from the web version. Maybe they are slowly killing off mHelpDesk ? Bummer! Really thought the software and company were great a few years ago! Time to start looking for other options.

Good service, but terrible app

Please update app for iPad and allow landscape orientation. Also please fix the bug that causes the field to jump to another after being clicked. This is the most terrible nuisance and something that makes me want to use a different platform for my business.
Other things needed:
- You currently cannot set or select service locations from mHelpDesk .
- You can receive payments but can not modify them from mHelpDesk .
- Ability to modify or create new sales tax items.
- Ability to disable location services for mHelpDesk . When disabled in iPhone or iPad settings you end up with constant alerts that it is disabled.

Seriously what happened to “We update our app every few weeks”?

There are far better options available

I’m a service plumber and I don’t know what my company pays to use this program. Even if it’s free, it’s not worth it.

Incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Nothing flows smoothly. After using Service Titan with previous company it’s depressing using this program. If you can’t hand a program to a 40+ year old plumber and have them figure it out within a day or two then you need to redesign.

Just the basic fact I can’t rotate the screen is crazy to me. I have to constantly type things twice before they load/save. I feel like I’m using half a program.
It feels like this company was working on a different project and then decided to pivot and came out with this software. Y’all shoulda signed up for like 10 other companies and taken best features from them all. Recommend you start with ServiceTitan

Just bad.

The company I work for uses mHelpDesk, none of us like it. It only works when it wants to, it will often lock its self in a work order and not let you clock out (this also means you can’t clock into another one). It takes forever to refresh and load if your not connected to WiFi. It will also deplete your battery insanely fast. The only reason I have rated it 1 star is because I can’t rate zero. This thing absolutely horrible. I would recommend steer clear of mHelpDesk.

App works well, Except...

Everything seems to work pretty good. The main issue I have and this is using a good network and the latest iPad and a iPhone 8. So what happens is when you click on a new assigned job, look at it then back out the job disappears and you have to force close mHelpDesk and reopen it for the jobs to show back up again. It does this every single time. Please please fix this issue. Thanks

Untrustworthy Sales Rep

Was working with this app for awhile after looking at a lot of the CRM options out there. The Sales guy we were working with would just tell us what we wanted to hear, trying to get us fully committed in a contract without ever delivering on his end. He even told us on multiple occasions that mHelpDesk was updated “weeks ago” when in fact it’s been over 11 MONTHS. Beware of this app they make promises they won’t deliver on and tell you they have features and options they in fact don’t have.

Crappy customer service

We are a HVAC contractor and all of our techs use this, it is HORRIBLE, we are looking for another program as we speak. The customer service is the worst, we have so many issues that are months & months un resolved. Their in writing response to my issues were” we cannot work out issues individuals are having, we can only focus on what affects the most people”, but they will gladly take your money every month. Do yourself a favor, find something else!

Not fully compatible with new Apple Software

I use mHelpDesk for work consistently and it has become insanely difficult to use with the new Apple software. I have to close mHelpDesk to toggle in between my appointments. There are many other annoying things that make mHelpDesk next to useless when trying to do something quickly in the field. Very disappointing.

Looks good so far

So far, the only thing that I’ve noticed is that mHelpDesk won’t rotate to Landscape orientation. I utilize an IPad Pro with a keyboard, and the only way to read anything is in the Landscape orientation. It would be great to be able to have it go to either orientation via personal choice of the user.

Financial protection buyer beware

I had terrible experience with this app. I had my password and login information compromised and this app refused to help me remedy it in any way . Refusing to look into who or when my account was hacked. My personal and business financial information was compromised and they refused in any way to help . I had my paypal account hacked at the same time and they helped me in 5 minutes but this app only is interested in taking your money and not protecting your financial information. Buyer beware!!!

Dishonest

Beware they promised us more business and much easier. Well this this app cost us $7,000 in lost leads. We only received texts to the wrong phone not seeing any leads tried working with them on 4 occasions. To only find out they don’t even understand there own app.
We even called Home Advisor for help and nothing. We were with Home advisor since 2014!
And canceled with them too because they were a part of what we felt a very dissed honest system.

Great program, app is getting better.

this app is great. mHelpDesk still has issues from time to time with search bars not allowing you to select them and you have to be pretty savvy to navigate mHelpDesk . Overall highly recommended.

Great so far

I just signed up for this app and so far it is working great. However, I just downloaded mHelpDesk and found that it is not optimized for iPhone X. It would great if they released an update so the user interface will fit the iPhone X or XS Max screen.
